Cons:
Car stank of marijuana - the worst kind of smell ever in the fabric of the car It never went away the entire trip. And the kids couldn’t stand it. Horrible every single tome we used the car. Umbearable - why would Alamo rent a car like this to anyone? Big mistake especially with kids8.0 Very good

Pros:
The fully loaded Pacifica I started with was terrific, except it had a bad rear tire that kept deflating. I called roadside assistance and they very kindly directed me to an Enterprise only 5 miles away to exchange vehicles with minimal hassle.Cons:
I wish Alamo could have just replaced the tire, because the van I got in exchange from Enterprise was an ancient, dirty Grand Caravan with absolutely no modern features such as a backup camera, Bluetooth, or even USB. Not Alamo's fault but man that was a buzzkill for the rest of the week. Also, the line at the airport was just ridiculous.4.0 Mediocre

Dollar window was closed so we had to go to Hertz who took their customers first. Car was very stinky and the key fob went dead half way through our trip and we had to stop and replace it as we were afraid the car wouldn't start or we wouldn't be able to lock or unlock it at a stop4.0 Mediocre

The first car we got was obviously recently smoked in and we requested a change in car. We got a less valuable car than the original (smoked in car). The car was previously smoked in but had been covered up and was not as strong as the first. That was very disappointing. We booked an SUV online but were told they didn’t have any available. In fact they didn’t have any cars at all. We had to wait about 3 hours (there were several other who we’re waiting as well) for a car to be returned and cleaned. This put us off schedule and we missed our appointment.8.0 Very good

Despite having a reservation, had to wait in line at counter for over 45 minutes, as three agents were handling all rentals for Avis, Budget, and Payless, and none of the three seemed to have cars ready. After finally making it out to the garage, had to wait another 30 minutes because the car assigned to me was not ready—over an hour after my scheduled (reserved?) pick up time. Received a hybrid vehicle and did not appreciate the engine cutting off at every stop and the lack of power on the road. On return, only one guy was on duty trying to check in all the cars being returned. This operation is a joke; avoid it at all costs!National
