ilike the SPA and view the way of dealing with the staff specially concerage and room service they are very bad as 5 star hotels
the rate v.high
The dinner at Pergola, the view from the room, the facilities, and service in the imperial lounge. The bathroom was not entirely in order and did not meet my expectations of high standard. The room was not cleaned at all when we returned 16:30 on the second day of our stay, allthough they cleaned it quickly when we informed them of this.
Service and comfort Price of the dinining
Words can not say enough, being from Dubai i have been spoilt with staying in some great hotels here in Dubai, how ever, the hotel Rome Cavalieri is at the top of my list for Europe, everything was great, as i say words can not say enought supurb and well done to all the staff at the hotel
the staff were very friendly quite pricy
This hotel is excellent. It is really beautiful and very refined. The food is top quality and the staff are suburb in everyway. It is a little removed from the city by being on a far hill but once you see the view from your room of Rome, you get over that.
beautiful big room nice support staff bad location far from city center hotel charges you for everything
Rooms are perfect, clean and rather large. Service is on very high level. Situation is not perfect, but if you have money to stay in such kind of Hotel, taxi fees should not bother you.
Everything. Bellissimo! Perfecto!
every thing was great
If this hotel was anywhere else but in Rome, you would consider it old and run down. The furniture in the guest rooms is ancient and the decore is very tacky. They are trying to go for some "original decore" look, but unless they want to tell me that Julius Caesar stayed there himself it's not working. The furniture in the guest rooms are not "antiques"; they are just old.... Sadly I'm not sure there's much better in Rome. The city seems to get away with never having to remodel, update, or provide any amenities under the disguise of being "authentic." Their "concierge" is useless. Other than showing you a map of the city and telling you how to get to the Vatican, they cannot/will not do anything to actually help you. They are really just untrained and glorified bellmen. Not what you would expect from a purported "luxury" hotel. Finally, they seem to think that using the pool is an optional amenity. There's a charge if you want to sit anywhere by the pool. Chairs and beds are not free. What mutil-star hotel charge to use their pool??? That's the stupidest thing. The result is that everyone is forced to sit in a circle around the edge of the pool or to lay down on the concrete.
Please write at least 15 words hotel was further away tfrom main attractions than we thought, not good transport links to attractions of train station. Breakfast was poor and was given twin room when double was requested. Had to vacate room by 12 asked if a supplement could be payed to keep room on for a few hours told that we could not and could not get a drink in bar area until 17.20. No local shops open to get a drink, I am 6 months pregnant and this proved very problomatic. See above
We stayed in two double rooms over the period of one night, and the rooms looked precisely as depicted on the booking.com website. They were well furnished, spacious and included a large balcony. Both the rooms and the bathrooms were meticulously clean and neat. The breakfast was good as well and was available between 7am until 10:30am, which allows ample of time for both early morning birds and those who wish to sleep a little bit longer to have breakfast. The hotel lies in a residential neighborhood on a hill outside of the city center, and is suitable for those who want it a bit more quiet. The description of the hotel states that it is 10 minutes away from Vatican City and the St. Peter´s Cathedral. By "10 minutes away" we erroneously believed it to be 10 minutes on foot/by walking distance, but upon walking towards Vatican City we quickly learned otherwise. The hotel indeed is 10 minutes away from the above mentioned sights, but by car/taxi and the taxi fee was approx. 10 Euros. From Termini train station (city center) the taxi fee amounts to approx. 26 Euros. The closest underground station is about 15 minutes walking distance from the hotel, and the taxi fee from there to the hotel amounts to approx. 5 Euros.
The hotel was very nice and clean, it was in a Great neighborhood! The front desk staff was very nice and the people living in the neighborhood were great, It was very quiet and about a 20 minute walk to Vatican City which was nice! The breakfast was amazing and great way to start the day! After check out the front desk held our bags for us all day while we went to Vatican City, which was awesome to not have to carry them around or worry about them at all. They offered a free shuttle to Vatican City and we were told about it at check in and that we could use it if/when we wanted to go there but when we went to go get on the shuttle in the morning we actually found out that you needed to make a reservation for the time we wanted to go(this wasn't necessarily a problem for us because Vatican City was only a 20 min walk away but I could see how this would be a problem for some), they just need to clarify that at check in.
The hotel was clean and reception was helpfull. The leisure facitlites were limited and the sauna was out of order. Waiters/Bar staff were not friendly. The food from the restaurant was disappointing and not value for money.
Very nice hotel with a good breakfast. Close to the vatican city
The hotel was nice and in a good area. The wait staff was fantastic and the food at the restaurant was quite nice. Convenient to the Vatican and there was hotel parking so no hassle finding street parking. They said their pool was small but it was extremely small. That was a key feature for the kids and due to the heat in August/Sept, and it was a bit disappointing.
I like the fact that the management staff at this hotel realise the fact that this hotel is not located in a prime area neither is it located anywhere near the city centre hence they have provided free shuttle service close to the city and to the airport. I do not like the fact that i was not informed that eggs were an added extra hence the bill was charged to my room.
Staff, cleanliness, location Breakfast
Comfortable seating area in reception N/A
comfort, no big traffic around, peaceful
Well situated alongside the train and bus, still walkable to Vatican city and even downtown (downhill track). Quiet and large rooftop terrace. Nice dinner. Swimming pool poor and small. WIFI not reliable in the room at all, worked well in the general areas of the Hotel. Breakfast lacked fresh fruits (which we discovered were there) and fresh juices (only the lemonade variants). Very early street and entrance noise prevents sleeping with open windows.
It is a quiet, well equipped hotel. The rooms are spacious and air conditioned. The breakfast is amazing. It is very close to the train and that makes city centre easily accessible.
The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The lobby and exterior were really nice...the rooms were a little less nice, but comfortable and clean. Housekeeping did a great job each day. The breakfast buffet was great, plenty of food and lots of staff on duty to take care of everything.
shuttle bus is really handy and stuff are really friendly. the room is too small for king-sized room, bearly have any extra space for walking and resting except the bed
Hotel staff is very helpful and kind. Comfortable room with a balcony was great for our four days stay. Shuttle service to and from Vatican was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. The extra bed could be better. Sofabed was not that comfortable to sleep in.
Great Breakfast! Helpful staff. Location 2 blocks from bus stop. Provided excellent tourist information. Free parking. Room was small.
I liked the silence and the simpathy of staff. It's not in the centre of Rome but the shuttle service is good and on time. The breakfast is very good and varied and you can always ask for more.
Decor slightly outdated but otherwise we had a pleasant stay there. Above all breakfast selection is really wide! Location, location, location. The hotel is located on a sleepy hill - the nearest bus station is 10 mins walk away. Metro is also nowhere around. The best way to get to and from the hotel is by taxi - it took us 10 mins to get there from Vatican and costed 5 euros or so.
Friendly, helpful staff. They pointed us to two very good neighbourhood restaurants. We ate in the hotel restaurant which was also good. Their breakfast was excellent. Their van service to the Vatican/metro station is really a plus. no
Rooms clean and large. Not far away from city centre and a shuttle is available. Parking is large and staff is helpful.
everything - the staff were all fab and couldnt help enough. nothing
Excellent service and breakfast. Nice size room for a European hotel. The location isn't ideal for going to the city center, but the price of a comprable hotel closer would be much higher.
It was right off the stop on the FR3 line. It had a mini kitchen and provided cookware. The bathroom, especially the shower, was disgusting. There was black mold everywhere in the shower and it didn't drain wel. Bring shower shoes! The breakfast was good on the first day but got worse with each morning we were there. There was less and less food there each morning. We only encountered one helpful desk person.
very handy for Vatican City 5 minintes by train with the station next to the hotel, Fantastic restaurant next to the hotel, very good value for money
Everything was great. The hotel room was exquisite, the staff helpful, location was perfect. The pool was not open to small children.
clean, new, view of the park, kitchenette
happy face of reception desk at arrival and his politness was appricatable. breakfast was very bad really!
Very close to the train station, close to Vatican City (2 train stops - the train arrives in the station every 35 minutes - and 2 metro stops away), the hotel staff was kind enough to help us with a convertor for the plug. The breakfast was poor, the breakfast room was too small for the large number of tourists, therefore we had to wait in line for minutes to get a table in the morning, the refrigerator in our room was dirty, the curtain in the shower was mouldy (it was disgusting to take a shower next to that). They didn't replace the bath shower gel etc not even once during the three days that we stayed there, so we had to use the same small bottle for the entire stay. The pool is closed on Sundays. Not to many places where you cloud eat around the hotel, although there is a restaurant right next to it, but it has a strange schedule - you never know whether you will find it opened or closed. Very far from Ciampino airport - almost 2hrs away.
Everything was nice the staff was taking english and was helpfull no
The staff, the facility, the services, the transport easeness and the fair price the cleanliness can be improve
A good sized family suite, with a small kitchen close to Buldinia train station, approx 20 mins from centre; helpful staff with information.Good breakfast despite the queue for the coffee machine. Despite being out of town did find it noisy but maybe if we had been at the other end of the hotel this wouldn't have been a problem. The hotel restaurant service was not friendly or welcoming.
The Rooms were lovely, the staff very helpful and the restaurant at the enterance of the hotel was excellent. Could do with an internal bar.
Good rooms Far from centre
Close to the airport. Clean and modern rooms and large bathrooms. Shower door enclosed only 1/2 of the tub and leaked when taking a shower.
When I made reservations, I wasn't aware the hotel had a shuttle service. I was satisfied with the staff being able to provide us free shuttle service everyday to the Metro station. I loved the very hot towel warmer in the bathroom! The dinner was too expensive. According to the booking site, it stated that "All children under 6 stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds." Both of my children are under 6 (this is the reason why I selected this hotel) Although, I was advised that I was being charged EUR 30 extra per night since I didn't list my children while booking. There was no place to list them while booking!! The location of the hotel was not convenient at all.
the staff were very helpful shower head could be stronger
hotel is inaccessable. no public transport. taxis rip you off to get there. no facilities. and staff either do not understand or are not helpful.
Nice breakfasts, very kind personal of food F&B and housekeeping departments, excellent New Year eve food and program. Very bad reception staff - there was no information available about the city tours, public transport connection, hotel facilities. Receptionist which we met in first day spoke no English, forced us to use taxi and didn't want to explain us properly how to use public transport (by the way we didn't understand why the taxi from the hotel to the nearest metro station costs 25 EUR, and from the metro station back to hotel 8 EUR, if it is the same distance).
Beside the hotel there are 2 big supermarkets, where You'll find a good choice of clothes for children and anything You may need for a picnic. Actually we were really surprised. Hotel's personnel arrange a shuttle bus to the nearest metro station for free. Breakfast could be more varied.
The staff on check in were great. Very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was not open on the Sunday so they recommended a local restaurant and ordered us a cab. Great 2 guys!!! Room was also nice and big, bed was comfortable and bathroom was excellent. The lady on reception at check out was less that friendly and helpful. We were only staying at the hotel for one night as we arrived in Rome a day early and our other accomodation was unable to have us a day early. We requested a later check out (2:00pm instead of 12:00pm) which she said was not a problem but would cost an extra 30 Euro! The hotel was empty!!! Poor customer service!
room, day reception staff. night staff very unhelpful, no room service, no food or alcohol available after 11pm on day of arrival, taxi could not find hotel and staff did not let us know this was an issue until the second day of our stay
Hotel it self location. It is good for business stay and if you have a car.
it is a new hotel We were 3 persons and the reservation showed that, and the room had only 1 bed, we complaint and they put an extra bed that they wanted 200 euros more for that. We had ti fight to get that removed. The air conditioning broke in one night and we had to sleep with no air in Summer. Its a 4 star hotel and do not have any irons for the clothes. The WIFI was poor and unreliable. The water in the shower jumped from warm to cold with out control.
The position is a bit outside (above the Vatican) but it's really not a problem to get to the city via public transport (for 1€) and the bus stop is really near. There's also a McDonalds restaurant near the bus stop, which is really convenient. It's nice and quiet, and birds wake you up. What I loved the most about my stay was the friendliness and the readiness to help, the staff is just fantastic. The shower cabins are really small. I disliked the plastic glasses in the room. They could add some more bathroom goodies like cotton pads, tissues etc. The hairdrier is really weak. I wish they had a shuttle service option to and from the airport.
Room was well sized and had a stocked mini fridge. Breakfast included! Top notch staff!
excellent breakfast that I have ever seen at the hotels in Italy, it was very rich. Clean room and tranquility due to the farness from city center. Considering all together, good price for family's budget. Very small bathroom and whose old equipments.
modern in room facilities, spacious room, nice garden, free parking and internet access. you have to take a 20 minutes bus ride to the city, the hotel is difficult to find due to road construction and no signboard to the place. the bath compartment in the toilet is really small
Way too far away from any public transport into the city. Over a 20 min and quite dangerous walk to the nearest metro and no shuttle provided
We travelled with a 22 and a 2 months old and the staff was very nice and helpful. It was located too far from the Roma historic center and necessitated a 30 minutes bus ride into town.
Nice hotel in a very beautiful and green zone of Rome. Internal private parking. If you want to get downtown just take a bus (907 - 913) from the near bus stop and you will be taken in 15-20 minutes to the Vatican area or to the Cipro metro station. Excellent breakfast. You need to climb stairs to get to the reception, therefore this is not ideal if you have a big case.
1. Nice rooms with new furniture. 2. Good breakfast (relatively to other Italian hotels, don't even think to compare it to Germany or so). 3. Free internet. 4. Good hotel restaurant, not cheap though. 1. Small rooms. 2. Somewhat hard to find even with the gps. For newer visitors, few meters after the University just before road construction begins, leave the main road (ignore no entry sign if you see one) near the gas station and turn right inside, go to the end of the road. 3. Expensive outside pool.
1. Modern, clean room with well fitted bathroom. 2. Good breakfast buffet. 3. Safe, internal car park. 4. Located in quiet outskirts of Rome. Also direct bus link to city center (but takes 40 min). Overall pretty good value for money. 1. No sports / gym facility (except outdoor pool - in summer at an additional fee). 2. Restaurant should change CD - 4 days of continuous Abba is a bit taxing :-)...
The size of the room - its value for money and the facilities provided. Excellent restaurant. Great breakfast. It is not on the tourist map of Rome - geographically out of the zone. And although, the Vatican for example is just 3km, connectivity is poor.
Liked the fact that they had a pool and the breakfast was excellent. Only minor point is that the bar closed at 11:30PM. Also it is extremely difficult to find.
The setting is very romantic and the staff are freindly and very professional. The fri mini bus was fantastic as it will collect guests at the local train station (La Giustiniana). It is the perect combination between a city holiday and a country retreat. I wish I had understood how the bus works before arriving.
The hotel and the staff were outstanding, everyone was lovely and helpful and the accomodation was beautiful. The restaurant was a little overpriced.
The location is very nice Some of the personnel is not very friendly, mainly the lugagge personnel
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was unique and charming since it was a castle. The scenery was beautiful. The hotel is too far from the train station to walk and there are no pay phones at the train station to call for the hotel to send a shuttle. We didn't know this until after we got there so I had to walk to a nearby shop where the owner was nice enough to call the hotel for me.
Location was perfect. Staff were perfect very welcoming and couldn't have been any more helpful if they tried. Frederica on reception very efficient and explained facilities and how to get to Rome via train.Hotel shuttle to station again very efficient and on time. Pool area beautifully kept, very relaxing. Food on an evening superb. Although a wedding going on for the Saturday night of our stay, I didn't feel as though I was made to feel a second class guest like some of the website reviews had reported. Looked a bit scruffy in the neighbouring streets before arriving at the top of the road down to the hotel, but once down the long drive and arriving at reception, started to see the castle itself and appreciate the beautiful set-up.
This was one of the most beautiful places that Ive ever styed at. The landscape, comfort and ambiance is incredible. It was a little out of the way to get to, but worth it. If you are traveling there, take the train and then have the hotel pick you up by shuttle. A cab cost over 40 euros to drive 10 miles.
pool if the shuttle doesn't run at the time you need getting a taxi is very expensive.
The look and atmosphere of the hotel; very relaxed and serene. The food was very expensive.
Magnificent building in a fantastic setting. Great views. Nice pool Staff officious and unfriendly. Promised shuttle bus into rome was only to the station and the day we wanted to use it there was a train strike! Bar service very poor.
we were upgraded to their "luxury" floor. seemed standard for a US hotel but was definitely the nicest European hotel Ive been. a buffet style breakfast was included in the price, great cappuccino card keys kept decoding, 3 nights in a row we would have to get them re-prograqmmed to get back to our room, was kind of inconvinient to get to Rome city center unles su took a taxi at 0600
Way out of Rome, not a good shuttle service and rude reception staff.
it's clean and quiet, comfortable bed, helpful staff, not far away from the bus station. no
More informations about cultural events and more facilities of transport to the center
cleanliness of the hotel. furniture in the room are too old
Good price, good room & hotel facilities, good breakfast. There were no problems with parking. Quiet area. Frendly staff. Inconvenient location: to far from public transport. Partially it is compensated by shuttle bus (but it departs from the hotel only 3 times a day).
the breakfast small rooms, very thin walls
Breakfast. When we arrived at the room, one bulb would not light up and the rest were too dim and the room appeared too dark. They sent a technician to replace the bulb but still the room appeared dark and dull. Bed and sheets were not clean enough. First day - only bath towels; no wash towels; Second day - no towels at all, they sent some when asked. The bathroom layout was the worst I have ever seen in any hotel, because the sink was the largest I have ever seen. That resulted in only a ten-inch space between the sink and the toilet to manuver to get to the bath tub; it was quite an effort. Hotel staff is not friendly; basically, you don't feel welcomed on asking any questions. If you are not with a tour group, dont stay here. Bad location.
nice view of Vatican city has not much access to any stores or shop near by.... subway is far away
Room is quite nice for Rome standard. Variety of food at breakfast. Staffs are helpful although not very pleasant. Can arrange taxis to airport at good fix price..Shuttle to city is helpful althouth not frequent enough.Good dining at the basement dining room. Location is in residential area and far from tourist attractions. There is nothing around. hardly find any resturant..but there is a supermarket about 300 m. away..u can hear lot of noise from the next rooms..
The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was very good. The hotel and rooms were very clean, too.
This was my first stay at Zone - Huge room and shower. Comfortable bed. Shuttle to town was good - unreliable return times. My room was near reception and restaurant - I could hear all conversations, including 1 side of calls to reception. I could hear the people in the next room unrolling toilet paper while I was getting out of the shower. I bought the movie pack and it kept freezing up - mentioned to desk, and solution offerred - don't buy movie pack.
staff was polite, had maps for us, let us check in early, room spacious & clean, assisted us in getting 4 AM shuttle to airport walls must be thin, neighbors' voices transmitted through them all night. incredibly hard to get hot water for a shower.
preview of the classic room isn't correct, they show you a superior room. So they ask you 35 euros more if you want to stay in a stylish room as you booked. I think is not correct, infact after some calling and booking.com support they moved us at the second day without any surcharge.
besides one man the staff was absolutely horrible. I wouldnt recomend staying there, its tough getting to the city and a little time consuming.
the room was very nice it was way to fare away from the center of Rome. It was very difficult to find when we arrived to Rome.
Cozy/comfortable environment but quite far from the City. Staff are courteous, good and helpful. Hotel rate is ok, but taxi fares are too expensive. The hotel is also clean. Some utilities are not given in sets or in two's for double occupants. For examples, shampoo was given in two's yesterday, but today, only one shampoo was given. Also, one lotion was given today, then on the next day there were two. It happened also on the cleansers. I really don't know if it is the hotel's regulations. If it is, it's ok with us. Also, breakfast has limited choices. There were no meats served like hotdogs/sausages, hams were not cooked. Sometimes, utensils were lacking or insufficient for other guests. Please don't use plastic or disposable glasses. Further, the coffee and juice dispensers broke down.
My second stay at Zone. This time a single room - much quieter. Again shuttle to town was very handy - agree with earlier review about pizza shop down the road. Lost 1/2 of the bathroom from earlier room, very small. Could not fully open bathroom door as it hit bed. Shuttle pick up from town does not run to schedule - be there at least 30mins early and be prepared to have to wave shuttle down.
Shuttle bus Bar shut 10-30, too far out of city
Easy access to Suprmarket, local resturant and the Metro station No seating area to site outside. No chairs on the balcony
Some of the desk staff were lacking in English skills and could not adequately understand issues that I was trying to deal with. Two, however, were excellent and very helpful.
The furniture in the room was new and clean. The room was quiet. Breakfast was moderate. Very good value for money. Almost nothing.
It is a new hotel
Air conditioning No
great room for price staff was not so friendly, and it took 3 diff trains/metros to get to city center.
receptionist's job bad breakfast
kind staff, quiet and safe neighbors, good location to reach city center by driving. a little difficult to find the entrance of the hotel by driving.
The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good with plenty of food. The hotel is close to the Gemelli train station and to the Gemelli hospital. First, the internet connection in the room did not work. Second, a small amount of loose change was removed from on top of a desk in the room - the management seemed very relaxed and unapologetic about this episode.
The structure of the hotel. Improve the breakfast.
Our room was clean and comfortable and ready upon our early arrival. There is a shuttle to the Vatican for 2 euros. While the location is remote, it is in a quieter residential area. The hotel is very remote cab ride into center of Rome runs 25 to 35 euros.
Very friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff. Clean hotel and obviously efficiently run. Wouldn't provide an iron, for health and safety reasons??
The piano in the bar is fine when there is a pianoplayer around. Friendly staff and no more minibar inside the rooms is a much better solution. The internet prices were outraging high. A better solution is to get a free ticket for 15 minutes as in other hotels. Or at least the possibility to purchase a ticket per hour or two or three hours that does not expire when logging off.
Love the breakfast, good quality spread and it was great. There's also free hotel shuttle service & makes it very convenient to travel to/fro city. The room is clean and bed is comfortable!
easy access to the city, clean room, room service, breakfast
Comfort, Quietness, friendly staff and location
The bedroom had good facilities and a great shower! For a hotel in Italy, the buffet breakfast offered a good range.
Good service, staff, clean spacious rooms. I had a view of St.Peter's. Julian at front desk is the best. It is far from major attractions but train station is around the block which makes it easy to get anywhere, anytime.
Location, good transport
Excellent hotel, nice place located on a hill, excellent services from the hotel stuff, bus schatle to down town, I feel it's one of the best nothing
The property is beautiful inside and out. We had room Zelda, which we guess used to be a 2 room suite. But where there used to be a door, there now is a "plank" separating the two. If someone is in the adjoining room you can hear each other breathe. Phone conversations: word for word. Anything else that you, or the people in the other room do: as if you're there... Everything else about this hotel is fantastic, and we only had guests in the adjoining room 2 out 5 nights. Recommended, just beware of the Zelda room, or it's neighbor. See above.
Good connections to Rome and surroundings. Clean Not so easy to find. Our reservation was not including the baby bed we ordered when booking (even I called before to hotel and made sure the availability and send email as promised to hotel to make sure tat everything was ok). Big plus to hotel that they arranged us a bigger apartment at mid night because of that. This might also be a problem of misunderstanding between Booking.com and hotel.
The hotel is lovely design with beautify garden, free parking and breakfast. The staff did hard work to help us arrange room since booking.com did not inform them my reservation changed. The room is very small and smell not good. Can not access internet in room. Breakfast is bad and only limited cold food. No reservation for me but charged me 5 days before for pre-authorization, which is really strange!
Rooms were very nice and great breakfast.
Very good hotel. Very low room price for best rooms I was in this hotel class. Location is far from city centre.
The staff was very useful, the room was very comfortable the location was fair for us considering we rented. a car. Very quite, exactly what we were looking for during our stay in Rome.
friendly staff, beautiful hotel It was in the middle of nowhere! Very inaccessible by foot, bus and metro. There aren't any sidewalks so walking from the bus stop to the hotel was very dangerous. We had to taxi to the nearest metro which costed us anywhere from 11-20 euro a trip. Secluded area good for honeymooners but not for the average tourists.
Really nice place with helpful staff. We liked it also because it was near to the airport but still in Rome. It was a little tricky to arrive, it should be worth to improve guidance.
The breakfast was a good starter and especially with the fresh coffee brewed just for you. Room was small but nice and quiet. It was a bit far from the city center which was good and bad. Traffic into the city was tough every day.
The position, near the highway, the room, little but clean and new From the highway exit is a little bit difficult reach it
feel of the Roma far and away metro station, car to necessary
It's so far from a metro station, the only way you can get there is by train, but be careful with the time-table, because sometime the train arrives every 30 or 60 minutes on Sunday.
The friendliness of the front desk staff, always very courteous and helpful. We had a wrap around balcony overlooking a park, the best part of the stay. While the hotel is located close to a metro running into Rome, the service was suspended one morning because of a strike. That of course is not the hotel's fault, but nonetheless very inconvenient. The hotel was located in a rundown area and was practically impossible to find even with directions. The room was tacky at best and very expensive for what we did not have. The shower was actually funny. Only people under 100 lbs. could get into it with any success. The fridge did not function at all, and the TV had to be switched because it would not work either. There were MANY kids!
hard to find
nice and quiet environment, suburban train line 100 m with good connection to the Centre noise level from other rooms was quite high
The stuff spoke good Engish and they were frinedly very clean and new room excelent breakfast! none
