Easy pick up and return.
Pros: Fast and friendly staff.

Great value and very good service
Pros: Very friendly attention and the cars are very clean and a great value. My rental was upgraded from a small SUV to a premium AWD SUV no additional charge. I am glad as I went to the Sierra and was perfectly suited to drive in the snow.
Cons: My only complaint is the no availability to talk to people over the phone.

Pros: Didn't know vehicle had to be returned with a full tank, but manager said her name was PJ was very helpful and rearranged our contract to take care of it.

Overall great rental, just pick up issues
Pros: Car was clean and comfortable, fair price
Cons: The original location closed at 4pm, extremely early. When I arrived (flight was slightly delayed), I had to uber to the next closest location. I couldn't access customer service, only the useless in this situation automated customer service answering machine. I had to figure out what to do without any assistance from Sixt, and in addition charged an additional fee since I didn't pick it up from the original location. 4pm is extremely early to close for a car rental store.

Fake Rude thoughtless customer service
Pros: Tiffany at front desk was fake, plastic and very rude. She had zero proffesfionalism or genuine care for customer service. She made my experience worst than it should of been. No manager came out to help with my issue. Sixt took my money online but never got me a car to rent. My weekend plsns were ruined and my money was held for five days!! Awful horrible experience!!! Never again!!!
Cons: Online reservation taking my money, front desk service was awful and manager was not present!

Cons: The drop off was confusing. There were cars parked to the edge of the driveway entrance so I parked on the driveway apron, went in to ask where to park and was told right where it was. Other people arrived after me and parked in the road. I waited to be waited on for quite a while, just to get the answer to leave the keys in the car parked where it was.

Pros: The car was nice.
Cons: The didn't give me a 4x4 like i requested and I had to come back and excgange it. the didn't except the kayak payment so they charged me again and still have not refunded my car. the car was dirty the tires were low pressure, the brakes seemed low the whole time. I am not positive the gave it to me full but they charge me $32 for being just a little under full at $8 a gallon.

Car was dirty, had automatic trunk closing issues
Cons: It was dirty. The vehicle was not clean inside or out. Someone had spilled milk in the cup holder area. When I was loading it the trunk would automatically try to close on me, I hit my head a bunch of times because it randomly closes a bit after opening fully

Cons: The wait time at the SFO office was very long. It took 1 1/2 hours longer than the scheduled pick up time. There were also problems with invoices. They did upgrade us and the car itself was nice, but the hassle was not worth it.

Had to switch car 3 times during my 7 day stay in
Pros: The cars are nice
Cons: The first car I was given the radio went out. The second car I was given got a flat tire 2 miles after I left the rental car place. Finally the third car worked fine, but I wasted so much time dealing with the first two. I'll never use them again.

Vacation rental for ski trip
Pros: We reserved an SUV for a two week ski trip. When we arrived, they didn't have any SUVs available and we wound up taking a Mercedes CLA 250, which has a low clearance. That was a mistake! We should have waited for the SUV. The Mercedes did not do well in the snow. Also, the internet was down at this location when we checked in, which added some time to our pickup. The agent who handled our check-in and pickup was fabulous, though. He was a great communicator and handled the issues professionally and with aplomb. Likewise, the agent at drop-off was excellent.
Cons: Didn't have vehicle I reserved ready when we arrived.

Pros: Workers trying to do their best.
Cons: Way over run with people and cars. Simply Kayos. No one yelling or screaming but only a small staff and way to much for them to handle. I found the shuttle and left for the airport, but simply left the car and keys without any formal return or inspection. All the workers were great but still not a good situation.

Pros: New car rental place for me. Prices are super reasonable. Service was great. The store front was a little hard to see from the main road and office hours are limited. It did not affect my travel overall. Thanks

Far away from airport
Pros: 10 mins drive from airport 'a rental building. The good thing is that shuttle bus is quite frequently and driver is helpful with lagguage

Some good, some bad
Pros: 1. Very friendly and courteous staff at the local office 2. I had to exchange the vehicle because it would have been difficult for my wife to get in and out. They handled that quickly and cheerfully.
Cons: 1. When I booked through this site, Sixt sent me a confirmation e-mail that contained a phone number. I tried to call that number several times and never got past the voice mail. I finally had to do a Google search to find an unpublished phone number with a human on the other end. 2. When I was initially unable to contact them by phone, I e-mailed Sixt with a few questions. They replied three times, each time with incorrect information. These e-mails came from their home office in Florida. 3. I believe they incorrectly advised me regarding the insurance I should take, since I don't own a car or carry my own insurance. I wound up paying about $40 per day, I normally pay about $20. I'm pretty sure I wound up getting charged for redundant insurance coverage, which meant that instead of getting a bargain price, I probably would have done better by booking through Alamo or Enterprise. 4. On day 4 of a 6-day trip, the windows malfunctions. Only the driver's window could be raised or lowered. I don't have a problem with the rear windows being stuck in closed position, since there were no back seat passengers; however, the front passenger window was stuck about 3/4" open. Since the nearest office was quite far away, I wound up having to use duct tape on the window before driving from Los Angeles to San Francisco on what turned out to be a cold and snowy day in the mountains. 5. When I initially called Sixt about the window, I spoke to a rep who gave me a number to dial for the nearest office. I hung up, called that number, and got connected to ... the same rep.

Good but poor customer service
Pros: The price was right and the car was fine
Cons: We wanted to pick up the car one day later and there was no way to speak to s human being about the change. The customer service voice mail was not helpful and referred me to the website which wouldn't allow me to make the change. Fortunately, when we showed up the representative was helpful and it worked out ok.

Pros: Liked absolutely nothing. Three people apparently working there but only one person handling reservations. With a long line out the door no one helped out. My reservation was for 9:00 am but after 50 minutes in line, there were still three goups ahead of me and I had to leave and cancel my reservation.

Cons: When I was in your office Monday morning your internet connection was down and I had to wait to long to get my car. When I was in your office yesterday after 4 pm to return the car, your office was closed.

Cons: With a great lack of care, Sixt employee didn't allow me to rent the car. His terminal was not reading my cards (perfectly working), so I never used their services and I kindly ask for refunding my reservation

Pros: Fast and great service, they didn't have the car I reserved cause someone already took it but it didn't cause any delays with the rental. Got a free upgrade to a better car. Pickup and dropoff was fast.

Cons: we couldn't rent a car without a credit card and not everybody lives on credit cards. also, we waited in line for 2 hours and still we couldn't get the rental

Pros: The reservation was made easily online, staff in San Francisco was friendly, car was comfortable and reliable and the return in LAX came with free shuttle to the airline check in counter included. Very pleased.
