Easirent , not easy at all! The most horrible experience with this car rental. Second and last time that I will be using this car rental. Once you are on their premises the wait is long until it’s your turn. During my rental agreement they explained that I had limit miles 165 for 3 days rental when the reservation I picked was unlimited miles and that I had to pay $15 per day for extra miles. After calling Kayak I find out that it was limited miles but it was not shown on your website. Meanwhile the hours kept passing by and was not getting help so I looked up on the internet and noticed that it says that for a limited miles it would be 165 miles per day. My time was an essence and kind of counted the miles that I would use so I hanged up with Kayak and shown the miles per day that I should have and continued to finish the contract with the Easirent. The car that I received was as I had asked a small SUV. When car arrived it was super dirty and low in gas. They did say that I can bring it back with the same amt. of gas. So I took the car since two hours when by already. During the trip the engine oil light kept going on for service and we are in Florida where it rains like buckets of water. The car will swerve when driving during the rain. I had to stop on the side of the road and noticed that the tires were bald. How can this be possible? How dangerous is this for everyone that rents this car? I brought the car earlier and mention the issues with the car. Nothing was written down or payed attention. As I was leaving I can hear them yelling new renters that a car has arrived. I really hope that this can help let this company be aware of their services. I would not rent from them! Horrible service!!

It was horrible. It’s scam, they try to charge you 45cent a mile any mileage over 150 miles a day and on top of that there was no cars available, so I ended up canceling my reservation. Plus the $500 deposit they ask for.

I paid on kayak only to find out I had to pay 3 times as much when I arrived at the car place (I had insurance through my credit card yet they forced me to get their insecure) which was 3 times as much as the car which seemed like a scam. I walk outside to get my car and they gave my car away to someone else, then tried to give me a giant gas guzzling suv that was dented and rusted and dirty. I said no. He then gave me a cross over toy car, that smelt like a dead fish from whoever was sitting in the seats, uncomfortable seats and head rest that poked into the my neck and head. The guys that work there need to be a bit more professional and not so gangster and silly acting too.

the car itself was in great condition, clean and ready. The shuttle service was a little slow and the drop off (after hours) was a little scary. i had to give the keys to he front desk agent at the Hilton with no receipt or proof of dropoff. I made sure to take a pic of the agent for myself

Having to go off site and finding my own way to the car rental from the airport was a bit of a surprise. I have been renting cars for years but this was the first time through Hertz at PBI. Its was scratcher and an inconvenience. I will likely never go back to Hertz because of this, no matter the savings. When we got the vehicle, we hopped in to get to our destination but began to notice the car had significant scuff marks on the back seats, as if kids had been back there, on the seats and on the back of the front seats, both sides. We even had friends we picked up later remark how the inside of the car looked with the amount of scoff marks. Another major problem, a day into the trip, both tires on the passenger side were low and signals on the dash board indicated we needed air. A stop off at the local gas station and $1.50 fixed that.... temporarily. On our trip back the light was back on telling us again the same tires had low air pressure. We reported it at Drop Off. On other issue was the insurance. Our car insurance covers rental vehicle and I specifically did not accept it when I ordered the car. When I picked up the car, the agent tagged it in for $26 a day without my knowledge and it wasn't until I got to my hotel an hour later I discovered this was to cost me an additional $188 for the trip. I guess the agent got his commission. Because of this poor experience, I likely will never return to Hertz again.

When I booked this car rental I had asked for an airport car rental, so when I got to the Hertz from the airport shuttle and was told I was at the wrong location and would need to take a taxi to other location, they called a taxi but after 30 minutes i got back on the shuttle and went back to airport and got a taxi from there. I would not have booked this through Kayak if I knew it would cost an additional $40 in taxi fares. I will never use Kayak again and am writing to Hertz about the way it is advertised on your website.

Our agent was fast, friendly, and helpful. Vehicle was clean and in great condition.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have a way for us to get to/from the airport other than a taxi, Uber, or Lyft (need some sort of a shuttle). I don't understand why the "airport location" can have a shuttle, but this "satellite location" can't. I also don't understand why it costs an add'l $20-$30/day++ to rent from the airport location since it is all "Hertz".
