Pros:

The pick up and drop off was super easy, fast and convenient.

Cons:

I am always looking for a better deal even when I have a good deal. I feel like the price was a bit high and I wasn’t aware of the additional deposit. Not a problem but would like to have known ahead of time.

Cons:

I called for a pick-up and telephone message gave a lengthy discourse on what you are doing to assure my safety during the COVID virus. NEVER is it mentioned that you have suspended pick-ups!!! This left me scrambling to find a taxi to take me to the office when I had a time issue. Had the message alerted me to this new policy, I would have made arrangements in advance rather than being blindsided.

Intermediate SUV

The first vehicle we received smelled like smoke. We returned the vehicle with no issue. The staff was great and offered us a new vehicle. The manager Trey was great and even remembered us when we came back to return the rental when we were done. He asked how was the second vehicle and we let him know it was great and thanked him for everything!

The agent was professional and nice however, the first car o was given had the emotive light on but I was told it was fine. It wasn’t. It would go over 30mph and when you tried the vehicle jerked hard forward and back. I had to go back and get a different car.

Beware the ability to drop off after hours is suddenly revoked when they need to rent out the vehicle to someone else. I was attempting to rent and needed to extend it through Christmas Eve. I was able to do this through their “required online extension”! But they called and suddenly required me to drop the vehicle prior to my actual drop off time under threat of charging me for the next three days they were going to be closed! Well I just returned it and said to heck with the extension I had previously agreed to pay for ( although it was actually more than the additional days rate listed on the rental agreement!). They literally told Me to use the drop box if I extended, then said they wouldn’t allow me to drop box because they were closed! ( what??) called the hertz line and was told they don’t have a drop box?? Went to return and plainly see the drop box!!

Pros:

Nothing other than the managers patience with jungling ringing phones and clients in the lobby all while trying to get another location on tbe phone because my rental had been prepaid for by someone else

The site shouldnt have allowed me to book a car that was already prepaid for by someone else

Called me to say they didn't have any cars to rent the day before my reservation. Said they would call me the next morning for my Noon reservation but never got one call from them. How is this possible that with Hertz worldwide status and decades of being in business allows this to happen? Just one more company I'll put on the list to never do business with. BTW, my reservation was made days in advance. This was not a quick reservation or a pop up reservation. Not a peep out of them. Incomprehensible.
