Beware the ability to drop off after hours is suddenly revoked when they need to rent out the vehicle to someone else. I was attempting to rent and needed to extend it through Christmas Eve. I was able to do this through their “required online extension”! But they called and suddenly required me to drop the vehicle prior to my actual drop off time under threat of charging me for the next three days they were going to be closed! Well I just returned it and said to heck with the extension I had previously agreed to pay for ( although it was actually more than the additional days rate listed on the rental agreement!). They literally told Me to use the drop box if I extended, then said they wouldn’t allow me to drop box because they were closed! ( what??) called the hertz line and was told they don’t have a drop box?? Went to return and plainly see the drop box!!
