I was standing in line to use the restroom. A First Class passenger wanted to use the restroom after me, but Jaques made me wait on Flight 3418 from BOI to SJC on December 12, 2025. I felt this was inappropriate and rude.

The flight was fine. The connecting flight was a nightmare. Gate change without text or email notification was super frustrating and I ended up missing my connecting flight. Return flight was delayed and had I not quadruple checked flight time, gate and refreshed the Alaska Airlines app every 5 minutes, I would have taken a flight that would not arrive in time for my connecting flight. Ended up flying Delta home.

Short trip from Honolulu to Kauai. Not a major issue. Only concern was the drop off of the luggage for departure. Only one person handling all of the passengers. She was busting her butt.

There was no food or entertainment so quit asking about that! Everything else was fine.

Service was excellent and the fact that I didn’t have to request to sit next to my kids when there were no seats next to each other was amazing. Love how Alaska anticipated the seat arrangements. One feature that would take the flight from good to amazing would be to have a screen available with headphones with games and movies, but the kids loved the little boxes and were entertaining with the game—it also helped them get away from too much screen time.

I wasn’t assigned a seat until last minute even though I checked in 24 hours before the flight and was told I might not be able to get on the flight! The leg room and seat room in the flight was abysmal. The service both at boarding and on the flight was very mediocre and not particularly friendly.

The staff was friendly and the flight ran on time. Boarding was a zoo. This process could be greatly improved. They have done away with the entertainment they used to offer in favor a wifi signal for our phones and that wasn't working in half the flights. The beverage selection is poor and the quantity was minimal. I'm sure when the airlines can come up with something cheaper to serve than pretzels they they will switch to it. If their budget is that tight what else are they skimping on? (Maintenance, fuel, safety) Over all I'm underwhelmed!
