They basically blamed me for being late and not being there on time. Two others from my flight were allowed to make the connection but told me that they gave my seat away because I was late. We all showed up at the same time from the late flight. I talked to 3 people including customer service and did not get a single “I’m Sorry”. Do they not communicate with each other when a flight is late and they have passengers for connections running late? They told me they don’t talk. The best they can do is put me standby for 9:30 flight and if I cannot get on that flight I have to wait until morning. My daughter is in a competition tomorrow morning and thanks to Alaska Airlines I’m going to miss it. I’m sitting here writing this review, paying for a dinner I should not be paying for and probably searching out a hotel room until morning when I can catch a flight. Unbelievable the lack of empathy."

Upon arrival I had an apology email from Alaska with a discount, this amazed me as usually airlines don't offer you anything when the delay isn't "mechanical", and even then you usually have to complain. I felt this made Alaska's customer service memorable as they went above and beyond."

The free WiFi is a game changer compared to the greedier airlines that charge through the roof for it and the staff has been incredibly kind. Also, the flight attendants were really sweet. I watched them diffuse a few situations that most people would have ended up making worse. Not to mention this is the only airline that actually OFFERED to assist me getting on the plane. I sometimes request assistance, but I really needed it last night and they offered without a second thought. I had only come up to the desk to ask about reprinting my ticket. The man who helped wheel me out of the plane at JFK was very considerate as well and asked if I wanted to go to the restroom before going out to the gate. He wheeled me all the way to the car where my husband was waiting. Every member of the Jet Blue staff I met this weekend was exemplary. If I can help it I will always fly Jet Blue when I fly nationally."

A flight attendant actually got upset that I got up to use the restroom and when I came back, she was at my row, and REFUSED to move one more row up so I could get in my seat. She made me go all the way back to the back and wait for her to bring her cart back, then was pissy about bringing me a drink. It then took her another 30 min to bring me the coke. also, what the heck with the remotes on the arm of the chair?? Serious design flaw. The man sleeping next to me kept turning mine up and changing my channel and I couldn’t get to it to fix it. Seriously it was the worst 4.5 hour flight I have ever been on."

I could have gotten to a near city several hours after but on the same day, but the mediocrecy of this employes did not allow me to get there until the next day at 7 am. Happy new year to me. This two women (or one of them) on the phone, lied to me. There was an option to get me here and one of them failed to do their job right AND LIED TO MY FACE ON THE PHONE. Just unacceptable. I will sue them, I had an under age waiting for me in Cancun and a pet with me!. With no food or access to do its necessities. AND THERE WAS AN OPTION THAT "they missed" on porpuse."

Ten days prior to the flight I called AeroMexico to cancel and they said there would be a cancellation penalty, which was fine. When I tried to redeem my credit, they said there was also an additional "No-show fee" even though I called to cancel 10 days prior, which left a total of $70 credit after all their penalties. I called and emailed to complain but they did nothing but pass me to someone else who was equally unhelpful. I will never fly AeroMexico for any reason in the future."

Cons: "It would have been better if they had departed when they said they were going to after a delay. Flight was delayed first 1 hr then two more hours. The airline finally posted that it would depart a 4 PM and we didn't even start boarding until 5PM. Then they tried to rush us on so that everyone was standing on the HOT jetway for 10 min waiting to get on the plane. Plane didn't take off til 5:35 PM. Over all on this trip I had three flights that were delayed. I'll think twice before taking American Air again."

Well, even if that's the fact of the matter, at least, be kind in responding to customer's inquiry. My son was seated across the isle, same row, but in reality the row was not even straight. And as a little boy, he cannot sleep straight and he has to lean to a stranger's shoulder? Thankfully I got a nice gent who should have sat next to him who were so kind to exchange seat with me. It's all in the attitude.... hopefully my attitude is not as bad :-) But maybe the gate agent was so tired for it was the last flight from ONT, at 1 AM. Bless her heart! Thank you though for your help to get the plane leave on time.!"

Pros: "They were always very attentive to let you know about gate changes or seat changes. Which to me personally is very important. I have had very bad experiences with other airlines in the past because they did not communicate properly their gate change and I missed my flight and missed events I was flying for. Excellent job to United for communicating gate changes very well! They did not break any of my luggage and the seats were fairly comfortable. The employees were also very attentive and willing to answer any questions."
Cons: "It was a bit confusing gate wise. I did have to ask an employee what was going on but they cleared up the confusion pretty quick. I flew on a jet verses a regular plane, and it was very loud. I had my movie turned up all the way with headphones and I still could barely hear it. It wasn't the fact that I couldn't hear my movie but in general it just hurt my ears. I was sitting towards the back of the jet though so I'm assuming if I was closer to the front it wouldn't have been as bad? Overall it was still a great experience"

This has been the worst travel experience I have ever had!"
