We circled LGA for quite some time with no explanation. Then sat on the tarmac. In fact I’m writing this review from the plane. It was due at the gate almost an hour ago. No one can use the restroom since over 90 minutes ago. Plane is still hot and many very dissatisfied. Southwest needs to get its act together in these kinds of situations so people know what to expect."

If you have wider hips, it will be hard for you to sit in the center seat or on the aisle when the plane is packed. I also wish they sold food on the plane. My total travel time with two flights is almost 6 hours. I always start to crave the protein boxes or healthy food options American Airlines sells on their flights. SW should sell food. They would profit."

Now that they are just as expensive as anyone else and often more expensive, this bare bones, no frills, cattle parade boarding is just not cutting it. SWA is always the last airline I check for any flight now."

Cons: "LGA is just the worst! We were delayed and it's impossible to get in and out of the airport. Cabins are dated and feel spartan. Not having assigned seats is archaic and stressful. People don't actually follow the rules, and it makes the flight feel more like flying on a bus. The staff at midway was strangely rude and dismissive when asked about upgrading my boarding position."

Food for a five hour flight had to be ordered ahead-not ideal for customer especially the choices on menu! I appreciated the seating for handicapped individuals!

We were asked to check in the bag saying the bag was little big while many people who boarded after us had bigger bags. We had a carry on roller bag, small carryon bag and a back pack for the 5 people from the family and we were asked to check in the bag. While people who had 2 bags per person with the carry on roller bags bigger than ours was allowed to carry the bags inside."

I had to make new arrangements myself and the only option was to fly out earlier in the day and lose a day of sightseeing and time with family that I made the trip for in the first place. Cons: "If there was a less than one star that is what they deserve. SFO flight was late. They gave away my seat on my connection to Kalispell. They basically blamed me for being late and not being there on time. Two others from my flight were allowed to make the connection but told me that they gave my seat away because I was late. We all showed up at the same time from the late flight. I talked to 3 people including customer service and did not get a single “I’m Sorry”. Do they not communicate with each other when a flight is late and they have passengers for connections running late? They told me they don’t talk. The best they can do is put me standby for 9:30 flight and if I cannot get on that flight I have to wait until morning. My daughter is in a competition tomorrow morning and thanks to Alaska Airlines I’m going to miss it. I’m sitting here writing this review, paying for a dinner I should not be paying for and probably searching out a hotel room until morning when I can catch a flight. Unbelievable the lack of empathy."

Just a week prior, my JetBlue flight was scheduled on time and then three things delayed thre flight for three hours right before we took off and now this! I was told it was due to needing to replace a crew member from another delayed flight. How can that affect so many people? The seat was also super uncomfortable and the back of the cushion was rolling forward, which made it hard to sit for that long. we also didn’t have a gate when we landed so that added on an extra 30minutes. Really disappointed."

Cons: "Contradictory and incomplete texts about a 1.25 hour delay in departure time. Text should say to arrive at original time. Almost missed the flight because text did not say that. Got 2 different texts within minutes, one with incorrect info. Why did I have TSA Pre-Check status on the originating flight but not on the return flight? Not enough overhead space, and cabin crew wasn’t helpful in finding space. Flight 30 minutes late, but probably not JetBlue‘s fault."

The carry-on-bag situation is getting out of control, you should crack down on people who bring too many bags or oversized bags that should be checked in instead."

Cons: "The male flight attendant who handed out the complimentary drinks and snacks acted a bit strangely. I was very thirsty, and I asked him if I could keep the rest of the can of soda. He neither said yes nor no, but rather completely ignored what I said and just poured my drink and moved on. I was a mildly annoyed, but figured maybe it was policy and he was shy and didn't want to debate the matter. When he took care of the older couple behind us, however, things got really strange. He asked them whether they wanted pretzels or peanuts, but they misheard him and asked for a ginger ale. I happened to know that he did have ginger ale, since my wife had just gotten one, but rather than just pouring the old folks a drink, he repeated himself. "Peanuts or pretzels?" They misheard again and asked him whether he had a diet ginger ale. Again, rather than just pour them the drink, he repeated himself. "Peanuts or pretzels?" This went round and round a few more times -- like a poorly designed computer UI that refuses to accept anything except the correct input -- before the old couple finally figured out the disconnect and picked their snacks before their drinks. Very weird."

I'm not sure who is to blame about this issue but I'm pretty frustrated that it was completely dysfunctional."

Cons: "Good staff on the plane very sweet like. Actually arrived early. Thought we would get breakfast on the flight from Madison Wisconsin to New York City."

Cons: "I did not like the fact that I have been with Delta for years and their response to me about booking my flight and using the payment method was they are working on it and there is nothing they can do. They would not even offer to hold my flight for 24 hours in case they fixed the issue within that time frame. It was very disappointing."

Pros: "Delta's free in-flight wi-fi for entertainment (movies, tv, music) on your own device is a big plus. Not so easy to find (there's sparse information in their magazine or seat-back brochure), but once you find it there's a wealth of options."

Cons: "Flight was delayed almost an hour while we were already on the plane. Minor mechanical issue that could’ve been handled at destination. The seat was super uncomfortable and I would’ve appreciated at least some more from the crew, like maybe even a bottle of water or something."

Cons: "I was apparently "flagged" by British Airways for extra security checks. As I understood it in London, I was randomly selected for this security check. This then apparently meant that I was to be flagged for all subsequent flights. This meant that in Chicago, after going through two other security checks that day (Zurich and London) and completing customs, I had to engage in a full Homeland security check. This involved removing protective covers from my laptop and phone that were hard to get off (not meant to be taken off regularly) and a full body search that I did not have to do in London. After many hours of traveling, this was very a frustrating experience."
Pros: "Easy check in and Boarding"
Cons: "It was not clear that I needed a different 6 letter code to checkin using the AA website. I finally got frustrated and called AA only to find out the code was different. The codes should have been the same or you should have referenced it on the website when I tried to check in"
Cons: "On my first flight from SLC to ORD I asked 3 different American Airlines employees if I needed to pay for my carryon before I got on the plane. They all said no. I got on the plane, put my carryon under the seat in front of me and everything was great. I landed in Chicago, got to my gate, went to board and this very rude employee stopped me after I scanned my ticket and told me I couldn’t board with my bag. The EXACT bag I had boarded with in SLC. After harshly grabbing my bag and putting it in the carryon basket to check for size, she wouldn’t let me pass by her into the boarding bridge and told me I was going to have to pay. I tried explaining that I had asked I’m SLC if I needed to check it and they had all said no and that it fit under my seat. She said, “I don’t care what they said in SL, this is what I’m saying here.” And directed me to the front desk where I had to pay $50!! $50 for a carryon backpack that fit under my seat comfortably 20 minutes before!! Without saying a word (cause I didn’t want to yell at the poor girl behind the desk) I paid the $50 and proceeded to enter the bridge but before I passed through, the rude woman said, “have a nice flight ma’am” and scoffed!! An audible scoff. So I’m short, I hate American Airlines and I will do my BEST to not have to fly with them in the future."
Cons: "Our last 6 flights have all been changed or delayed significantly. Then they loose our bags on a direct flight. Won’t fly America airlines again!"

Cons: "It was late going to Chicago and late returning to NYC. There were no crackers. I don't like pretzels. The ONLY reason I flew American is because my company paid for it. I absolutely hate LaGuardia. It has a bad spirit."

Cons: "Beginning about 5.5 hours prior to departure I started getting text and email alerts indicating a sixty minute delay. Then thirty minute delay. Then sixty. Then none. I had to decide whether ir not to believe the alerts, get some things done and change my airport departure time .... or to disregard the alerts. Flight ended up leaving on time. Why the alerts??"

Cons: "Luggage did not make the transfer on time (Chicago-Charlotte after Tokyo), although they had about 45 minutes to load it. Do not buy an international ticket with less than 1.5 hours transfer time. (It took 45 minutes to get through customs/immigration and retrieve luggage for transfer."

Cons: "Flight from ORD to LGA delayed even though the plane was already at the gate in ORD. No announcement explaining why it was delayed. What was worse was that after landing at LGA, baggage tagged as Priority did not come out first, it came out much later - after numerous non-priority baggage came out. This is not the first time this has happened at LGA. What's the point of tagging it as Priority if it won't be handled that way?"

Cons: "This made the check in process extremely frustrating and confusing. Traveling with my elderly dad who had to squeeze between two large men for 7 hours because people who actually booked the airline got priority seating. We had to pay an extra $500 to upgrade to comfortable seats. Not pleased w Kayak."

Cons: "After madly rushing to get to the gate, we found out 5 minutes before scheduled boarding time that there would be a 15 minute delay in boarding. After that, we were told there would be another 30 minute delay. Once we were on board and the cabin doors were closed we were told there would be another 55 minute delay. Also, LGA is such a mess these days due to construction and would have been nice to get an email notification beforehand about it. We barely made our outgoing flight!"
Pros: "The crew were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They made the negatives about the flight much more bearably be their excellence service whether during boarding, in flight, or after landing."
Cons: "I booked the flight originally through british airways and expected your standard, modern plane for cross atlantic travel. Boarding to find myself on a 767 designed (and likely built) in the 80s was rather disappointing."

Pros: "A short flight that was even shorter because we arrived early. Luggage arrived promptly at Baggage Claim, too. American has flights between Chicago and New York practically every hour, which is very convenient. They might as well have a shuttle. Gate staff and flight attendants friendly and helpful. Love the upgraded individual consoles for the entertainment."

Cons: "No food! except pretzels and sandwiches for purchase. I didn't purchase a sandwich but on the outbound flight, the two guys next to me did and were both vocal about their disappointment with what they received for $9. And they were strangers who didn't talk to each other the rest of the time, so I think they meant it. Also, entertainment: they had a movie on the pop-down screens, and 4 free movies to stream to your device using on-board Wifi, as well as 2 TV shows. So maybe I'm being harsh. But it was a transcontinental flight and they didn't have headrest screens loaded with movies. Is this only for international flights? The movies were bad, or at least not appealing to me ('Keanu' and 'Zoolander 2'). It was possible to pay for additional movies, but who wants to do that? It was sort of the EasyJet model, where you get good basic service but pay for everything additional that one gets for free on Delta. Maybe that was reflected in the price I paid for the ticket, but I was expecting that AA would be in the same league as United and Delta. One nice perk: free wifi for T-Mobile customers, including me."
