I had to pay for a hotel I never slept in in Medford and meals. Seems like Alaska has few flights out of Seattle and Denver and no other partner agreements to help route you. Really horrible bad experience. Not what you expect when you patly $500 plus trip insurance. Pathetic."

When I boarded the plane, which was almost full, at least half the overhead bins were empty. I had already gate checked my bag to avoid a confrontation with this pushy lady. Ridiculous!"

Once on the plane and the doors shut, passengers were not allowed to move to an empty row, because they said we did not pay for other seats in coach, so had to sit cramped in seats while multiple rows were empty or had only one passenger for the 3 seats."

Cons: "When we showed up for our flight on Aug 28th the lady at check-in said we didn't have a seat and printed out a piece of paper with rules and guidelines on it she then handed me the paper and told me to check my bags in and go to the boarding gate to get more information on why I didn't have a seat, I repeatedly asked her why do I have to check my bags go through security go to the boarding gate if I don't have a seat she continued to tell me that's the procedure and they will give me the information, she was very rude so I continued to follow her rules I went to the boarding gate swear they told me I did not have a seat because the flights are oversold they told me they were going to give me a flight for the next morning and to come back in an hour and they would get it all situated so I came back in an hour they gave me my information for the flight the next morning but then they couldn't get my luggage back because they said it was too late to get it off of the plane where is I'm watching right out the window then load the luggage on the plane, I then proceeded to talk to a manager the manager said that she would have our luggage flown back to Las Vegas and sent to our hotel at 8:30 p.m. that same night August 28th and that never happened, I even called Frontiers baggage claim at 1:30 asking if they knew where my luggage was they said they had no idea and that they would send it out in the morning to my hotel I told her that's not necessary as I will be flying to Denver where my luggage should be in the morning she kept telling me she already was going to ship it to the hotel and couldn't understand why I didn't want it shipped to the hotel even though it was a pretty simple answer so she just continue to laugh at me and hang up, we also didn't get any compensation for an overbooked flight I would have to say that it's pretty horrible experience and knowingly that when I do fly it's usually with Frontier but all that will change"

But it was how rude the lady manager was when I also only had cash on me. They wanted to charge me an extra $5 to go do a pre paid card. this was 20 mins before flight left. They must get on the same paid either charge both ways or no way. especially $60 per bag"

Could the rep not have looked it up and seen there was an empty row and made accommodations for this family?? I shouldn't have to be the one looking out for YOUR customers. They don't pay my salary...they pay yours."
Pros: "For starters, the Crew was AWESOME !!! An attendant asked if I was military, I wear an Air Force cap my daughter gave me when she graduated. I said no, and explained it was my daughter's and she thanked her for her service and me for supporting her choice. A few minutes later an attendant asked if I would follow her, they had a different seat for me, she said. At first I thought I had the wrong seat. I stand 6ft 3in and about 270 lbs. economy seating is kinda cramped for Me. She directed me to a seat that had knee room and thanked my daughter for her service and me for supporting my daughter's choice to serve Our Country. This action just strenghtens my loyalty to Frontier Airlines and will continue to travel with you all I can. My trips with Frontier Airlines has always been a Good experience. This one was special because Your Crew of Attendants made it Special for Me. They are Real and Professional people. Let them keep doing what they're doing because it's working, for Me anyway. Thank You very Much"
Cons: "Just when you thought airline travel couldn't get worse, Frontier brings you hard seats that don't recline and tray tables about half the size of a sheet of paper. Want a real seat? No problem--pay more. Want what they call a "laptop-friendly" tray table? No problem--pay more. And don't expect to use TSA Pre-check: Frontier doesn't participate. By the time you've paid to bring luggage on your trip--whether checked or carry-on, it costs--you've racked up a cost you could have used to fly a real airline. Pretty soon they'll be charging extra to fly on a plane with wings. And then their website was down all morning when I needed to check in. I used to fly Frontier a lot. Never, never, never, never again."

They should / could have continued to enforce these rules over the loud speaker as a general statement if they didn't want to actually confront individuals. -- for both masks and to wait in their seat."

By this time the area is completely full of people lined up to get on two different flights, so navigating out of line and then back into line once i has the new boarding pass was a disaster."

Cons: "I paid $190 for the plane ticket based on the price comparisons on Kayak. Because of this hasty and naieve commitment, I ended up being forced to pay $200 more (surprise!!) for round trip tickets for my carryon and checked bag. If i had wanted to choose my seats (extra a charge) or have a snack on the flight (extra charge) this flight would have been immensely expensive. And the seats are incredibly hard, uncomfortable and do not recline. Almost $400 for a round trip of discomfort and unpleasant surprise charges...I'm betting this airline will go out of business quickly due to lack of repeat customers."

They could have at least provided a complimentary drink. The flight attendants didn't were not customer service oriented at all. They were visibly flustered and rude about the whole thing. When the head flight attendant was asked "Should we just never fly spirit airlines again?" She answered with a "mmhmm" and a nod of her head. Also, They charge 50$ to carry on a bag....? Never heard of that one. I will not fly t his airline ever again."

I didn't like the check in policy or the fact that they don't support TSA precheck because they hope to sell you on an additional fee that will get you through a prority lane. I didn't like the seats which are hard plastic, close together, and don't recline. I didn't like the mini tray table that wouldn't support my laptop so I couldn't work. I didn't like that Spirit falsely advertises with the tag line "LESS MONEY, MORE GO" when the base fare for my connecting flight on this sub-par airline was more expensive than a direct flight on a better airline-before the other fees were added."

I was the only one in line behind another couple just to correct the issue. The ladies at the service counter were less than happy to be there, probably because they have to hear about all the terrible stuff that happens when people fly Spirit. They said I had to be checked in 45 minutes to boarding and I got there 43 minutes to boarding. The lady informed me that I have to get another flight, with a layover, and land in LA 5 hours after the original landing. On top of that, I had to pay $99 for their inconvenience? Here's the kicker! I got through TSA and what do I see? The plane I was supposed to be on to LA still parked and boarding! On top of this, no courtesy email reminder to check in. Horrible! They need to brush up on basic customer service. Spirit airlines is the biggest con in the sky. I booked flights with them before and have had ok experiences, but this ridiculous. I have a Spirit flight to Chicago on November 5th which I booked through Kayak that I'm already dreading."

Cons: "Spirit uses every opportunity they can to charge you for something, then pat themselves on the back for offering a stripped-down, low cost service. Base fare - $90 Selecting a seat - $20 Carry on Bag - $45 Printing out your boarding pass at the airport - $10 Water onboard the plane - $3 All told, the flight ended up costing me nearly double the base fare because of all of the fun "extras" I had to pay for. Meanwhile, my very nice American Airlines flight on the way to Denver cost $70 with no extra charges attached. Yes, they literally charge you an additional fee to select any seat - there's no seat included with the base fare. Yes, they literally charge you to carry on a bag. Yes, they literally charge you at the check-in counter to print out your boarding pass. Yes, they literally charge you for water while you're on board the plane. Yes, they literally cram more seats into a plane than any other airline, then tell you to "cozy up and high-five your neighbor for how much money you're saving." Then while you're on the plane, they have the flight crew mongering the Spirit Airlines Visa card as if they haven't already done enough to debase the notion of good customer service. But the fact that Spirit goes out of its way to offer the worst possible flight experience, then tries to act like it's doing you, the passenger, a favor, is simply infuriating. Spirit, we get it, you're a terrible airline that milks every line item of the purchase like a sleazy car salesman. Don't act like something you're not."

Cons: "Didnt understand the charge for luggage. Wasnt able to get a live person that understood my questions. Overpaid on luggage that I didnt have to check in."

Pros: "The flight attendence very nive and helpful. My first flight was delaid or late, dont remember what one. My return flight turned to a unexpected layover to los vegas then to LA(home). Other then the time delay everything else was ok..."
Cons: "I had to book an entirely different flight with an different airline just to get to LA when I was suppose to. Otherwise, I could've been stuck waiting till Thursday with no guarantee of getting on a flight over because they overbooked every flight of theirs all week. None of this was my fault! I was a full hour early for my flight. I ran to the bathroom for a maximum of 2 min. Came back and the jerk behind the counter said it was 10 minutes before the plane was scheduled to leave, and I couldn't board because the doors close 15 min prior to departure. The plane was still here...why couldn't they just let me on quickly. The guy didn't call my name or say last call on the announcements. This incompetent employee asked me how to pronounce my name to which he admitted he completely butchered and said a different name entirely"

Cons: "Didn't like the fact that when I got to lax my bags tock 1 hour to get to us and also my bag never mad it down the carousel I had to go up and get beacuse it stopped your guys customer service in Los Angeles sucks and the do a horrible job she didn't even know what was going on with out bags didn't know where our bags where or when they where arriving last time I fly with spirit airlines"

Cons: "Our two bags never get checked to be sent with the flight, and we have today to pick them up ourselves in San Diego."
Cons: "The Flight was delayed for 7 hours but through out the process there was no clear information when we would be able to fly. So it was hard for us to make a decision on what to do. The airplane we were supposed to ride arrived 6 hours late at 12:00am and they told us first that if we dont board by 12:30am the flight will be canceled and rushed us to the changed gate. Then told us because of inspection that the flight will leave maybe in an hour. We ended up boarding at 1:30 and the flight attendant had no regard of our situation. She made loud and unnecessary PA annoucements such as "now we will dim the lights for your comfort so you can rest well" after the plane has been in the air for 40 minutes. Just overall a terrible experience. I understand now why the price is so cheap."
Pros: "Was supposed to take off at 5:15pm, and I am still waiting to board at 12:15am. Not sure if there will be a flight tonight or if they will cancel it. Communication has been terrible."

Cons: "Customer service took 20 minutes to refund my money and didn't even attempt to get me on a flight with another airline. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with an airline company. I could not be more disappointed."
Pros: "Because carry on bags cost more than checked, the line to check in is quite long but boarding is generally quite smooth because you have fewer people fighting for overhead space."
Cons: "Spirit's big claim and advertising push is that they will save you money by only making you pay only for what you need. In theory that's great. But their practices make it clear they're not in the business to save you money but rather to entice you with a cheap base fare and then find lots of individual places where they can price gouge. When my husband booked tickets, they told us that checked bags would be $21. We factored that in to the price and decided this was still there most affordable option. But I guess you had to pay right then, because when I checked in the night before, it cost me $40 per bag. And my husband checked in day of and was charged $50. We also couldn't sit together because they wanted to charge $9 to pick seats. It doesn't cost the airline anything to let us pick seats nor twice as much to carry your bag if you pay for it on flight day, so these extra fees and escalating prices don't say "we're all about saving you money," as they claim. In the end, we paid $195 in bag fees (40+50+40+40+25 for one bag over 40 pounds), couldn't sit together, and didn't even get a glass of water."

Cons: "Online check in did not work leading to higher bag charges. Not able to claim miles I earned on this flight. Uncomfortable plane ride."
Cons: "Not including basic things like water is ridiculous. Being a bargin airline but charging extra for everything is not worth it"
Cons: "My flight was so delayed I missed my dinner, my ride had to leave so I had to pay for that, and I couldnt check into my airbnb. This long delay cost me so much money and really affected my trip and reason for going to LA."
Pros: "Crew was helpful. Like flight attendants. And the pilots were very informative."
Cons: "I'm traveling with my Five year old and you make me pay for a seat? Otherwise we will have random seats and there's no guarantee we will sit together...by the way it's $18 a person? Wow!!! Also my bag was $55 and it was under 20 pounds. So all together I spent $100 just walking into the air port. Honestly now I know and I'll never fly spirt again told all my friends and family in social media as well. For as much as I spent flying with you I could have flown with any other airlines and wouldn't have gotten this shocker paying for an assigned seat with my daughter. Good luck to you all....no wonder you are the worst air line in America, glad to see you're doing all you can to keep that title."

Cons: "There should be another way to lower rates besides over charging outrageous rates for things that other airlines include in the price... Who ever heard of a $3 ramen noodle? That's theft... Even jail don't charge that much... Also, the plane was delayed by over an hour and no apology was offered at all by staff much less an explanation as to why..."
Pros: "this flight was delayed for 3 hours. i ened up looseing my job because of it. i called and complained and no one can do anything but give me 50$ on my next flight with you guys BUT I WILL NEVER fly spirit again. I WANT MY MONEY BACK also on the flight you guys were charging for water are you kidding me?!!!??? after being delayed and having upset flyers you should at least do a free drink. ALSO your flight attendant wouldnt sell any alcohol on the flight which was dumb and probably wouldnt have happened if you did something nice for the people flying. like a free drink..."
Cons: "Did not like the fact that i was on time to my flight but my flight didnt not leave for an hour after it was schedualed due to a "computer" problem. It didnt seem like much was wrong since all the mechanics were just sitting around talking to the flight attendants. Also the plane kept making this unusual grinding sound before we even took off as well as while we werr in the air. The flight attendants were very rude to alot of people, careless with the credit card machine dropped it very roughly on the ground and laughing about it. I am pretty sure the older one of the three was drunk because she reaked of alcohol , I didnt not catch her name but she was the ruddest of them even to an elderly man and a small child. Then Liz was also very rude to customers as well as having an attitude that was as if she didnt carr about her job. The man Gustavo was not to bad he just spoke over the intercom as if he was new. My mother who was traveling with me asked for a seat belt extender twice and the third time was finaly given one and laughed at by the staff and the during the flight she discoverd a roach in the pouch in front of her. Also back to a referance to the bad staff a woman sat next to us asked for a pain killer or some sort and was told " i cant give it to you before we take off, and if i could we dont have anything other than our own"-liz then twords the end the poor girl was sweating drasticaly and holding her stomach and the older attendent whose name i did not get came up and said " WHATS WRONG WITH YOU?" and laughed. Over all i was NOT haooy woth this flight i do understand the fact that i GET WHAT I PAY FOR BUT THAT WAS JUST RIDICULOUS."
