First and foremost, when someone books a convertable, thats what i expect. That person handeling check in at the jetblue terminal in orlando on saturday morning should be sent back for retraining. After showing my reservation with the convertable, he goes back and forth with me, telling me that in the “system” its a different category of car. I then went to show him the reservation again and he says thats not an avis reservation number. He says i should call the number on the reservation… so i did. And. IT WAS AVIS IN ORLANDO!!!! At this point im beyond furious going back and forth, that i said, in general, I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS, GIVE ME WHATEVER YOU HAVE SO I CAN GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE! Instead of resolving the issue, this individual wants to act like my ex girlfriend and tell me to calm down in a passive tone!! And then he says youre not allowed to be nasty here!! OOH IM SORRY, I DIDNT KNOW I LANDED IN FN PLEASANTVILLE!! AND I SAID THAT IN GENERAL NOT TO YOU!! This went on for 5-7 mins with people and kids online. Instead of focusing on a resolution, this chump wanted to argue with me, since he had no idea how to resolve the issue!! i paid for a convertable and got a dirty sports car. Inside and out. Pickup took two hours - not enough staff for volume of renters. Poor signage to get to cars. Drop off - no one to accept car. Not sure what to do. Leave key and walk away? Later a bill arrived by email charging us for filling the gas tank. A scam? We had just filled the gas tank before drop off. Called to complain. At this point not resolved yet. The car was filthy. The windshield was so bad it was dangerous when it rained and turned the wipers on. The interior was very dirty and the exterior was not washed. The car had over 60000 miles and there was a grinding noise from the brakes.Reviewed Nov 5 2022

Having actual cars when you have booked them weeks in advance. Have enough staff to actual handle the volume. Don't send customers across the airport to an empty space. Then when you return to the desk have them tell you that they are short of cars and have you wait an hour and a half until they find one.Reviewed Aug 7 2022

They refused to honor my booking as it was made in the UK but I had a Florida license. I was not the only one having issues. The manager on duty was awful, rude and offensive and worst of all ignorant.Reviewed Jul 30 2022

The wonderful ladies who assisted me in my pickup and drop off were absolutely fantastic! The vehicle that I picked up was an upgrade due to the shortage of availability and ended up being a BMW X5. Pretty nice, although the vibration in the wheels on the highway was several and definitely not ok. Thankfully it was only a one way rental for an hour and a half drive. If I needed a car for a longer trip it would have been really miserable to continue. I payed around $250 for this rental. Far too high for a one day car especially one that is damaged and smells like it’s been smoked in. The people who assisted me made the experience with a very happy one.Reviewed Jul 23 2022
