I reserved an SUV in March for this August rental. Due to a change by the airline, I needed to change my rental by one day, from Monday to Monday to Tuesday to Tuesday. I spoke to a Budget agent because modifying the reservation by one day changed the rate by $400! This was now more than I could afford. Budget's agent told me to cancel the existing reservation and make a new one. I did that, but because of the price increase, I had to change my car from a Rav 4 to a Toyota Corolla. I was not happy with the change and will probably not rent another car from Budget in the future.Reviewed Aug 15 2025

Did not pick car up. Tried to cancel and was told it was non refundable. Kayak said it was but priceline said no???? Deceptive when one that you reserve car on says it is but then it switches to another company that changes the rules.Reviewed Sep 2 2024

The truck was fine. I just didn't reserve one: I reserved a mid-size car. Then the staff tried to "upsell" me a luxury car where they should have given me one at the same price because it was their fault to begin with. So I took the truck. Horrible business model.Reviewed Sep 19 2022
