Much more expensive than advertised.
Pros: Easy to arrange and deal with.
Cons: Price was way too high and vastly more than originally advertised. Vehicle was advertised at $15/day. Our 8 day rental cost $844 total by the time all the additions of insurance, fees, exchange rates etc. were tacked on.

A reservation means nothing!
Pros: When we landed in San Jose we were told there were no cars available, they were sold out. Our only option was renting from a different agency for over $100 dollars a day, which was 3x more than we have booked it online for. We were stranded at the airport for 4 hours, we luckliy had a friend who was able to pick us up. Never had such a bad car rental experience, having a reservation means nothing!!!

Lied about rate
Pros: The rate you agree to pay has nothing to do with what they charge you. Expect to pay 7x more. Corrupt Mexican franchise.
Cons: Price deception.

Cons: Dear sir or madam, I booked a car with your company through Kayak.com on 25 Dec, 2016. The price I was quoted was $75.33 for seven days. When I arrived at the Budget office in Los Cabos, I was informed that the insurance required by law was an additional $47 per day minimum, or $55 per day for no-fault coverage. After insurance and taxes, the cost of the car rental was more than $600. Although the confirmation email said that additional charges might apply, there was no indication that the insurance alone would increase the cost of the rental by nearly five times. I understand that the insurance is required by law; my complaint is that I was not given specific information about the cost as I was making my reservation. An increase in price from $75.33 to $655 for car rental was not in my budget; if I had known ahead of time, I could have planned differently. It is very dishonest to suggest that a car will cost $75 for a week, when in reality it will cost at least $600. In the future, when my wife and I come to Los Cabos for New Year's, we will not be using Budget. Timothy Moore
