I never picked up the car due to their $1,000 deposit and I requested a refund since I signed up for payment via Affirm, they denied the request for refund. And I also contacted you guys, and yall state you’re unable to refund me. I never picked up the rental!!!! Why would I pay for something I never purchased or used. Extremely disappointed! Routes Car Rental was extremely unappealing and the workers had no urgency. The line was out the door, and it was just raggedy tbh! Worst rental experience I’ve ever had. And I totaled my car so I thought affirm was very helpful but it came back to bite me in the behind.

The staff was amazing and helpful. The only complaint that I had was that the floor mat in our car kept moving around due to a broken hook, but I let the agent know and they were going to fix it. Stellar company!

I received a message that they will not rent to anyone who has a local drivers license despite the fact that I flew into an out of Atlanta obviously necessitating a rental car. They have repeatedly refused a refund for the rental, even though I called before pickup. Extremely disappointed in this experience and their customer service.
I reserved a Ford Transit, but all they had for me was a Kia Carnival. This made it challenging with my large family.

Took the reservation without telling us they had no cars available, and was told I had to wait at least 2-4 hours until they might get something in. Walked over to enterprise and got great service with a free upgrade right then and there.

They gave us an old car with a spent battery. The battery died and they took 2.5h to send someone to jump it, and they would not send us a replacement vehicle. While on vacation, we had to drive back to the airport to get a replacement. Terrible experience.
Huge line at pickup. We waited for 40 mins. Also the AC wasn't up to par so it was really hot. But the staff was great. Gave us bottles of water and a popcorn snack while we waited.

First, understaffing in order to sell an add-on “upgrade” for quicker pickup is unacceptable. Then the clerk could not assign me a car because of multiple systems (dollar, thrifty, hertz). Then, even after we clearly discussed my lack of interest in ALL of the unnecessary add-ons he added them back in the third time he tried to assign a car. Then even though he pushed all the buttons on my phone, he claimed it was me who made the choices. He gave me attitude when i found the extra $1450 due at pick up unacceptable!!! Do they get bonuses on that? , he then told me the wrong floor to pick up the car sending me across traffic to get to the area. And finally, he sent me to a space that had no car. I dragged three bags full of tools this way! UNACCEPTABLE. the only save was that the guy at the actual hertz desk helped me out so i did not have to drag it all back access traffic. But since it is the same company, i am unlikely to use again and will share. I am disgusted!

Had one way rental atl to mia for 12:30 am pickup. Was able to get an earlier connecting flight. Called them to change pickup to 4 hours earlier. They sad they couldn’t, no cars. Absolute nonsense. They said they could transfer me to their “sister company,” Budget, who could provide a car. The experience with Budget was a complete disaster.

Even though my vehicle was reserved and prepaid for when we arrived at the airport early in the morning there was no vehicles available. We had traveled all day and arrived after midnight and looking forward to getting some sleep. When we got to the rental counter the line was roughly twenty people long and we were all told they were completely out of vehicles and had nothing to give anyone... Had to wait in line at other companies to get something to use for our trip. Then the refund process was about the worst because I had prepaid they didn't want to return any money. Took many emails and phone calls to get anything done and finally receive a refund. Don't rent from them!

They were out of cars and did not apologize or offer any solutions. Will never work with this company again.
After waiting 45-60 minutes to get to the counter, Payless did not honor the reservation made through this platform. They stated that they were short on cars, and not honoring reservations made through 3rd party platforms. Watch out!

Very bad. The car was not available at resvered location. I went to Pick up car about one hour drive from my original Pickup location and have spent $40 on Uber.

Bait and switch. Promised cheap rate then after waiting for over 30 minutes in line I was told it would be a two hour wait for a car or I could upgrade to an SUV to get out of there quicker. Ended up spending 3 times the original rate. Could have went with Enterprise for cheaper and would have been out of there quicker with a nicer car.

My flight was delayed by 2 hours due to bad weather. I arrived in Atlanta at roughly 10:30pm and made it to the Fox/Europcar desk at 10:45pm. There were no service members there. After waiting for a couple minutes, I asked an employee of a different company at a neighboring desk and they said I would have to locate the office downstairs in the garage to pickup my key. After making my way downstairs and locating the office, I arrived at exactly 11pm as two employees were exiting the office. When I told them I was there to pick up my car, they said they were closed, the computers were shut down, and there was no way to go back into the office and get the keys for my rental. They then told me that my reservation was nonrefundable. I had to go back up to another company's desk and rent a car from them for my 2-hour drive. The complete lack of customer service was the worst car rental experience I've ever had. Lesson learned.
