Horrible. 1.5hrs waiting time for pickup. Then for return the same line. Actual price including mandatory fees (ofcourse 'mentioned' in the 15 pages small print) 3 times higher than shown price when I made the booking. Worst experience with a car rental ever. Will not rent at Hertz again and definitely not via Kayak

They are hiding the extra insurance charges until you are actually picking up the car and they are forcing you to take their insurance and ripping you off with more than double the rental price. Big scam 😒

Kayak quoted us a price with insurance and once we arrived in country, we were told we needed to pay an additional $300 for insurance as the country did not recognize the insurance Kayak had sold us in the rental contract. Very dissatisfied.

I'm unclear as to why my kayak booking price and hertz rental end price were so drastically different. My reservation and Kayak price was close to $400 and my final booking were nothing changed was almost $1000. Just didn't make sense and hertz didn't honor the kayak price and I still can't figure out if i paid twice.

It was terrible, they didn't send a shuttle to pick us up from the airport, even after repeated phone calls and assurances they were sending someone. After waiting for over 45 minutes, and having to get a taxi to the rental store location, it was closed... it was 8:30pm but their website clearly stated they were open until 10pm. After finally getting someone to open the gate, they informed me that they didn't have the car available for us and they were unable (unwilling) to work something else out for our group of 10. I DON NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!

When I booked online, there was an option to select no insurance. I selected this, and then when I show up, they tell me I need to pay 10x the amount that the car rental costs for insurance. I ended up just not getting the car. I would like a full refund.

Had to return the first car like the front was gonna fall off exchange it. The next day upgrade was not much better. Told the attendant that I would bring it back on Tuesday, April 30 by 9 AM the original contract was for 22 April through 29 April and again I told the attendant that my flight was on the 30th so I have a receipt showing that and now they’re trying to charge me for an extra day so I probably would never do business with priceless again thank you

Misleading. Even the workers there know that their boss is scamming tourists. The prices they give on line are nowhere near the price you pay upon arrival with “mandatory” insurance.
