Cons: The first vehicle we received had bald tires (not easily detectable due to ample fiberglass panels) - had to go well out of our way to conduct the exchange. The idea that this business had no telephone service for 2+ weeks baffles us and also added a healthy layer of challenge to our entire transaction.

Cons: I was very disappointed that somehow the location got changed from my first click of Sacramento Airport, to Sacramento Downtown. I blame this initially on KAYAK, because I am quite sure I initially clicked on the airport location- but also remember the forms as being ambiguous and quick. But I was also very surprised at how little Hertz was willing to do to help me with this. No one at either the airport or the downtown location had authorization to assist me with this (local mgrs should be given this authority). When I called the 800 number, they were willing to help- for an additional $307!!!! With no guarantee that current reservation would definitely be cancelled and refunded. Help? NO HELP!! Eventually we called a taxi and made our way downtown. A waste of 2 hours of time and $15. Interestingly, when I got there, the local manager there was very helpful. He was able to change the return to the airport location for only $15. Now why couldn't the airport location do that for the pick up in the first place!

Cons: To answer your question...I didn't like a thing.

Cons: My flight was delayed because of a mechanical issue for over an hour in San Francisco which would have made it extremely hard to get to the store in Sacramento by closing time and there was no local phone number to call them to see if they would wait for me. I called Hertz direct but could not get anybody on the phone that I could understand (very poor broken English) so I ended up renting from the airport Hertz which cost me an extra $300.00. Extremely unhappy!!

Cons: I made a mistake when making my booking, reserving a car from the downtown office instead of the airport where I was landing. Staff changed my booking to accommodate the change. I was asked to sign the agreement and noticed the cost to now be $100-00 more! While I 'get' that the charges can change, this was not pointed out to me and was explained after the fact when I noticed the increased fee by reading through the document. I would have appreciated a little more transparency in this process.

Cons: i made a reservation at a very good price but end up been double the price because the location was different than the airport and at time of arrival was already closed so I had no choice to rent from airport of course this was my first time at Sacramento so how was I supposed to know that the address was other than the airport. The girl at the counter didn't even try to give us a discount and or an upgrade this is the second time something like this happens reserving with kayak very disappointed of the hole situation

Cons: My search was for a rental at SMF and Kayak allowed downtown Sacramento to sneak in. I booked the later because it was cheaper. Had to take a taxi downtown for pick up.

Cons: Maintenance in dashboard for full trip

Cons: Visibility was limited.

Cons: When I arrived at the rental car lot, the woman behind the counter lied and said they didn't have any cars available when there were several in the lot. Then she stated she would call me when one was available, I never received any call nor response from them again. Worst experience I have had I do not recommend this rental company to anyone.

Cons: The younger fee charge yet it was a part of the protocol.

Cons: They didn't have the car I reserved and refused to work with me to honor THEIR reservation and commitment. It was very apparent with all of the interactions that they don't care about their customers.

Cons: Only got 34.9 mph I've rented a Camry in the past and got 38 mph

Cons: Ypoor customer service no emotional connection to the customers just how much the can get you to spend or sign for quickly, very distasteful

Cons: Nobody was there to pick up the car or get a receipt from. Some random person said to leave the keys in the car and he'll be back later today.
