Pros: The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - Marcus gave us a great deal on the rental.
Cons: The first vehicle we received had bald tires (not easily detectable due to ample fiberglass panels) - had to go well out of our way to conduct the exchange.
The idea that this business had no telephone service for 2+ weeks baffles us and also added a healthy layer of challenge to our entire transaction.

Cons: My flight was delayed because of a mechanical issue for over an hour in San Francisco which would have made it extremely hard to get to the store in Sacramento by closing time and there was no local phone number to call them to see if they would wait for me. I called Hertz direct but could not get anybody on the phone that I could understand (very poor broken English) so I ended up renting from the airport Hertz which cost me an extra $300.00. Extremely unhappy!!

Pros: Friendly staff.
Car in good condition.
Cons: I made a mistake when making my booking, reserving a car from the downtown office instead of the airport where I was landing. Staff changed my booking to accommodate the change. I was asked to sign the agreement and noticed the cost to now be $100-00 more! While I 'get' that the charges can change, this was not pointed out to me and was explained after the fact when I noticed the increased fee by reading through the document. I would have appreciated a little more transparency in this process.

Cons: i made a reservation at a very good price but end up been double the price because the location was different than the airport and at time of arrival was already closed so I had no choice to rent from airport of course this was my first time at Sacramento so how was I supposed to know that the address was other than the airport. The girl at the counter didn't even try to give us a discount and or an upgrade this is the second time something like this happens reserving with kayak very disappointed of the hole situation

Pros: Car was fresh, drop off was a breeze.
Cons: My search was for a rental at SMF and Kayak allowed downtown Sacramento to sneak in. I booked the later because it was cheaper. Had to take a taxi downtown for pick up.

Cons: When I arrived at the rental car lot, the woman behind the counter lied and said they didn't have any cars available when there were several in the lot. Then she stated she would call me when one was available, I never received any call nor response from them again. Worst experience I have had I do not recommend this rental company to anyone.

Pros: I used Kayak to make a reservation based on the best price and I was sure that I noted the Airport as pickup. When I arrive din Sacto and worked with the folks at the Herta counter - they were very knowledgeable and helpful - BUT they were noy able to honor the Kayak price. Very disappointing - and I ended up at Advantage to rent a car at the same prices I was quoted for Hertz

Pros: Well trained and friendly staff. I like the after hours drop off option.

Enterprise needs to learn what customer service SH
Pros: ONE employee at Enterprise was willing to help me when they didn't have the car that I had reserved, but that was after having to go thru SIX other people. I will be using other rental car services in the future if I can avoid Enterprise. I'm pretty disappointed about the over all experience and would give a "poor" rating if it weren't for that one employee.
Cons: They didn't have the car I reserved and refused to work with me to honor THEIR reservation and commitment. It was very apparent with all of the interactions that they don't care about their customers.
