I actually did not rent this car. I canceled the reservation with Hertz a few weeks ago. Kayak was never updated apparently. I actually contacted both kayak and hertz in the cancellation process, because despite canceling weeks in advance, I was charged $50 by hertz for the reservation. Their policy was confusing, and I was surprised and disappointed to be charged. I have no complaints with kayak, but was dissatisfied with this hertz experience.

Worst experience ive ever had at a car rental company. 1st car they gave me had a suspension problem and I had to bring it back. When I returned it and got another, someone put gum on the seat and I therefore sat in gum for the next 5 hrs of my drive.

Cons:

The customer service was rude when picking up the car they did not explain where I needed to go to pick up and made the process more difficult than it needed to be. Carlos the manager was just as rude as the old man in the front desk. By far the worst customer service I ever had will never rent from this place again.
