From the old key and hassle room key to the Victorian period furnishings to the Cruise Room bar, you feel like you are part of another time. The staff was fantastic, the service was 5 star and the custom cocktails and history lesons in the Cruise Room were fantastic. Best location in Downtown. Cons: Being a smoker, there really wasn't well established designated smoking areas so I got harassed a few times. But they were friendly and pointed me to a direction to smoke. Needless to say, I didn't smoke much. That was good.

Cons: Loud traffic noises. I was on the 7th floor. At checkout, the 2 clerks were more interested in helping 2 senior citizens confirm a flight than taking care of my bill. Waited 15 minutes. I would not stay here again.

Pros: We had scone and coffee at hotel's Starbucks so can't rate the hotel restaurant breakfast. By the way, the scone and coffee were excellent. Early dinner at hotel restaurant was nicely prepared, service was pleasant and timely.
Cons: Not a complaint, just a comment: in evening the lobby was jumping with loud music and energetic patrons. Our room was far from the lobby, so of course it didn't matter. For anyone interested in lobby gathering, just know it might be lively.

Pros: Loved having a kitchenette with apartment size refrigerator, cook top, microwave and dishes supplied. Linens were nice, soft sheets and plush towels. Rooms were quiet and offered heat/ac with a ceiling fan in the bedroom. The complementary breakfast was pretty delicious. They changed the menu every day to offer something a little different. Fresh fruit, bagels, and waffles were always available. Ample seating downstairs in their bar/cafe area. The hotel hosted a social hour where wine and beer were complimentary. Location was great. We were within walking distance to a huge number of restaurants, cafes, coffee, shopping, and necessities. Valet service was useful to avoid looking for parking garages nearby. Staff was incredibly helpful and courteous. All around, this was a beautiful hotel in a great location in downtown and we loved our stay.

Cons: There was no fan in the bathroom which caused a lot of condensation to accumulate. Furniture felt cheaply made. The sleeper sofa was not very comfortable to sit on for a long time. There was no desk in our room, just a bar height table which isn't great to sit at and work on a computer. Rooms in the west side of the building have a very poor view as the building is butt up against another. No room service available, but they had bar food downstairs.

Cons: Check-in was very slow and the staff were quite disorganized. I reserved a mountain view room. I was offered an upgrade to premium room, but did not like that room. I was told that I could change back to mountain view room and that my luggage would be moved to the new room, when I would be returning later from an engagement. Got back to the hotel and front desk shift had not been notified of the move, so I was presented with the same "upgraded" room. Jermaine took the time to comp me for parking and add additional points to my HH (though the points are not yet reflected). It was midnight and this process took an additional 30 minutes! This hotel has a lot to offer, but could use some training on the front-end in addition to carpet shampooing in hallways and rooms.

Cons: On a positive note, the breakfast room staff was very friendly. Everything else was utterly disappointing. Unresponsive staff, incompetent people and Hilton Honors. Zero action to fix issues in the end. Clogged toilet, mouldy shower that was not cleaned, bathroom installations that could injure you.. Just the normal stuff you would expect in a Hilton group hotel

Pros: The hospitality of the front desk staff is unmatched! Whenever I stay there, I feel important to them. They are so accommodating! Once, we asked about a mini fridge in the room, and she told us she would have one brought to the room. Last night after a night out, my husband and I didn’t want to go back to the room to drop off our leftovers, and the front desk kept it at the desk. She greeted us with our food when we came back after walking the city! I love this place! Also, the location doesn’t get any better!!

Cons: The rooms are so small for the family stay, I asked for upgrading my room to a suite, they said they don’t have a bigger room in entire hotel. It’s not a great place for families who wants to stay for a week. Usually younger people stays there for a night. Toilets and bathrooms are extremely small.

When I first checked in the sheets didn't smell fresh and the next day when my room was supposed to have been cleaned they left the dirty towels on the floor and did not empty the trash. I think they should retrain their cleaning staff because that made a difference in my stay. The rooms are more on the small side but would not have cared as much if they would be clean.

Cons: Check in was a nightmare. Arrived at 2:45, and was told our room would be ready at 3:00. We couldn't get in the room until after 5:00pm. The front desk gave us a key for the parking, but did not tell us we would be charged.foe parking. We missed the beginning of the reunion we came for. In the morning at 8:45 there was no coffee or hot water for tea and the breakfast buffet was a mess. Apparantly, this property has some staffing issues. We stay at Residence Inns often, but wil not return here.

I present my credit card upon arrival and was charged for the entire stay instead of incidentals as the front desk lady said my credit card would be used for. Had to have my credit care reimbursed. Cons: We really didn’t like two things. 1) We were given false confirmation of an early check-in. Apparently check-out isn’t even until 12:00pm, so as the hotel was full the previous night, it was impossible for us to check-in until cleaning had begun. While this is completely understandable, we called the hotel before booking to confirm an early check-in and planned out drive across country accordingly. It would have been much more helpful for the woman on the phone to have let us know that it was only a request for check-in and not a confirmation. 2) We specifically chose this hotel because they advertise that they have HBO. It was Game of Thrones premier, so we chose this hotel because of their advertisement. They actually only have Smart TV’s and you need your HBOgo log-in to watch HBO. We also called to confirm that there was actually HBO, and the same woman said yes, without confirming the stipulation. This is extremely misleading because anyone traveling with a Smartphone/Laptop and their log-in also has HBO, so then any hotel could advertise this. Their advertising should be replaced with “Smart TVs meaning full access to the streaming services you already know and love. Bring your log-in for an at-home experience.”

When we finally got checked-in at 3:45 we were told our room wasn't ready ... and ended up having to wait an hour. We had requested an early check-in ... totally unacceptable ??????

Cons: We chose the Westin for the pool. We were supposed the check in at 4p, but they weren’t able to get us into our room until nearly 6p. That was only after I went to the counter at 530p & demanded a room. They offered us a downgraded room that was ready immediately & when I declined, they were able to get us into a room that we paid for. We had evening plans, so the pool was out. We could have stayed in a comparable hotel with no pool for less money. Very disappointed.

Cons: For the price we paid I expected a little more glam. We were on the second floor and had a big room but there some things missing. There was no lock on the bathroom door and it didn't close all the way. There was also no fan in the bathroom. Cons: The original woman at the front desk seemed non-plussed about everything and didn't acknowledge us for a solid yet awkward 20 seconds while she finished texting or doing something on her cell phone. All the other employees were great.

Cons: The entire hotel smells like sewer gas, or like a grease trap that has not been cleaned. It permeates the entire hotel, the bar and eating area, and especially the parking areas. It's disgusting and unacceptable. I would encourage all to avoid.

For the money you’re paying, stay somewhere else. The elevators smell like pee and it’s trying too hard to be quirky and different. Not worth your time when you can stay elsewhere. FD probably has to be the worst with valet a close second and housekeeping will do the bare minimum for you.

Cons: The A/C unit was loud. They do provide earplugs, not for the A/C but because it's located in a happening neighborhood for nightlife. I didn't use them (don't like how they feel) and didn't hear any outside noise.
