Traveling with a disabled daughter, I rented from Hertz because the ad said it was in the airport. However, It was a train, two elevators, and at least a mile away. When we finally got to the counter, we had to wait for over an hour in line. Then I was told I need a toll scanner, an extra driver charge, a deposit, and in 5 minutes my $ 326 rental for the week was over $700!!! False advertising in every respect. I will never rent from Hertz again after being a customer for over 30 years! Who is running this business?Reviewed Mar 9 2026

We pre checked in so we wouldn’t have to wait in line and still had to stand in line for 2 hours. They didn’t have enough staff and not enough cars. Wasted an afternoon of what should’ve been vacation time with my family.Reviewed Feb 22 2026

First off, it took forever to get the vehicle out of the garage, because they only had two tellers working. And after explaining to the lady that I have to make a 700 mile trip and requesting an economy gas vehicle, I was given an electronic vehicle without asking or being told so I had to get the vehicle towed to a charging station. It took me 11 hours to get to Daytona Beach. Where the lady at the airport was kind enough to exchange it for a different car. I will give negative reviews to the Miami location if I could.Reviewed Jan 14 2025

I've had other less pleasant experiences wit Hertz, but this experience was above and beyond. Both the pick up at MIA and drop off at PBI was absolutely amazing. Prices were good, people were amazing, car was great. Thank you for continuing to do good work.Reviewed Jan 11 2025

Picking up a car at the airport is very convenient yet I don’t think that justifies tripling rental prices.Reviewed Sep 28 2024
