I loved that it was a brand new car!! What I didn’t like was that I requested a GAS POWERED Car but when getting to the counter there guy said “Oh you’ll like this it’s an EV, I said I DON’T want an EV PLUS THAT’S NOT WHAT I PAID FOR. So he said ok I’ll give you a”Gas powered car” but upon picking up low and behold it WAS AN EV😡. I knew nothing about EV’s and NOTHING WAS EXPLAINED TO ME, NOT HOW TO CHARGE IT ETC. Then he wrote in the paperwork that it was “FULL”, it was NOT, I only had 30 miles left to the charge…again pissed off. Thank god I wasn’t going far AND the hotel I was at had charging, which I RETURNED THE CAR FULLY CHARGED(NO CREDIT FOR THAT). Then top it off YOU STILL HAVEN’T RELEASED MY DEPOSIT THAT WAS ON MY CREDIT CARD. They could’ve at least explained how the car works lije costing it!Reviewed May 14 2023

I made a reservation for my family to have a way to travel from Miami to Melbourne. It is an almost 3 hour trip. I purposefully reserved a NON ELECTRICAL vehicle to avoid complications with finding a charging station etc. They gave my family an electric vehicle, which resulted in them running out of charge several times and almost missing their flight. Customer service is so slow to help and now we are hoping we will be able to get a reimbursement for the uber we had to order for them to make their flight.Reviewed May 11 2023

Surprise taxes and fees at pick-up. Car was dirty inside and out including trash inside. Car reeked of marijuana. Gas tank was not completely full and no windshield washer fluid. Different car than pictured with high miles for a rental, over 44,000. Don’t recommend thrifty.Reviewed May 10 2023

I Do not have a credit card but had called prior to see if I could use a debit and they said I could with a higher deposit. However, when I got there, they said I could not use a debit for the larger van I had rented so had to have the people we were with use their card. They should have told me that when I called since they knew what vehicle I was getting.Reviewed Mar 24 2023

Everything went very well, it was easy to pick up the van at Miami airport. No pushy upsell of insurance, tolls, pre-paid gas, etc. quick easy drop off. Great price for a 15 passenger van.Reviewed Mar 11 2023

Had to wait an hour and a half for a car. It wasn’t clean. It needed maintenance. Was charged significantly higher than the reservation. When I called Thrifty about that, they said I had to deal with it at the airport. There was a line of more than 25 people at the airport & I had a flight to catch. Check in was a bit slow with only 2 counter perons, but reasonable with no problems. The garage area attendent was on the ball. He came out of his kiosk, greeted me, took my folio and directed me to my car (Good job!) The car return was quick and smooth, and the agent was good too. The car itself had a couple of issues. The drivers side sun visor retaining clip was broken/missing and the visor kept wagging in the drivers face, and there was an error message on the rear perimeter sensor making the lane sensor system inoperative. It was a Volkswaggen Jetta and had a very harsh shifting transmission. I've rarely driven Volkwaggens, so I don't know if that was normal or not. Otherwise, the car drove well. It was a good ride, very smooth on the highway, etc..Reviewed Jan 19 2023
