I prepaid the rental on line for $1764.94. At pickup I was asked about add-ons(which I had declined to get online). I NEVER choose any of them because of coverage through my credit card and my car insurance. BUT I did choose the prepay the gas option this time because the price per gallon they offered was just under $5 per gallon and in our destination, California, it was over $6. I declined all other options(I thought) but I see I was charged $39.899 per day for LDW (whatever that is) and $8.99 for premium road service. I have the top AAA option for passenger car plus my credit card has me covered so WHY would I choose the premium road service option? I complained at drop-off and was told I had to go through some Hertz number. This whole thing is not acceptableReviewed Jul 3 2022

I said specifically to drop off car at LAS airport but the rental desk in Salt Lake City airport scheduled drop off at a location more than four miles from the airport. Fortunately, the Hertz people at Las Vegas airport helped us get the issue resolved and allowed me to leave the car there.Reviewed Jun 2 2022

The customer service was lacking. First, we were put in a car that wasn't the size we had paid for. The person at the counter was rude about it and only the Hertz gold customer service was helpful. After arriving an hour late, we were also told our car wasn't ready and we'd have to wait 30 minutes for it to be cleaned.Reviewed Mar 18 2022

I had a delay while enroute to Salt Lake City that caused me to be a few days late. Your app is not user friendly to allow me to change my reservation dates. I ended up losing my reservation and my money. I'm not happy with my experience.Reviewed Nov 28 2021

The counter person refused to apply my gold membership to the rental, which meant a lower grade car, giving me some bs about "it must have been associated with the wrong credit card". Then pushed hard to sell me a prepaid tank of gas, claiming gas was more expensive at the drop off city than the pickup. Which was also bs.Reviewed Oct 18 2021
