We had not stayed at the Loews since our son graduated and were pleasantly surprised to see what a nice job they have done in updating the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great location. Nothing
Our room was amazing... Stayed in the premium king suite...bed was beautiful and comfy... Furniture was very eclectic, bathroom very clean, overall romantic... Had a keurig coffee pot and stocked mini bar ( which we just stared at it because the drinks and snacks were so expensive . We really enjoyed the bar downstairs , Masons. The staff was amazing. Took very good care of us. We were very lucky to have got this room for such a great pricel on kayak.
The only negative about the stay was the temperature in the lobby / bar / restaurant. Uncomfortably cold in all common areas
The location of the hotel was excellent. It is right across the street from Vanderbilt University which was great for morning walks around their campus. The hotel is also within walking distance to some great unique restaurants in Nashville. It is also an easy drive to downtown. The staff was very welcoming and the valet service was quick and professional. Our room was clean and in good shape. Hallways were very quiet at night. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Wonderful staff! Love the Lounge and the room and decor are fabulous!
Concierge breakfast buffet that came with our room was pretty scarce and not refilled both mornings that we went; Expensive parking lots
It was our anniversary and they quickly bumped us up to a room with a better view for the same rate. They did all they could to accommodate us. Parking is a bit expensive but hey, that's Nashville for ya
Great staff. Lovely set up. Professionalism at its finest. Highly pleased, and I'll be returning soon.
Fun staff. Had a little issue but was addressed right away.
Great staff No refrigerator for personal use
First hotel room to have a mobile lighted make-up mirror. One can place it on the desk and sit down to apply make-up. Fabulous! Nothing.
Our introduction to The Hutton was by American Express. The 1st person I spoke to was Lisa Powers from the Concierge Team. She was fabulous. She sent us an extensive list for proposed things to do in advance. She spent a great deal of time prior to arrival talking to me about options for tours, restaurants etc.. I was coordinating for a group of 6. By the time we arrived our shows and tours were booked. She even assisted with a wonderful hair and dinner appts.. She greeted us upon arrival and the service continued. What a great intro. The entire hotel team, Tony, Laura Will, Megan, Eric and Ellie and Wendall who handled room service. The team in the restaurant bar, Rachel, Dennis, Cody and Eric were fantastic as well!!! Despite the fact that the rooms were beautiful and clean, we felt the maid service could have been a little more through. We had one meal at the 1808 Restaurant. It was fabulous. It might be a best kept secret. Perhaps it is because the hours for dinner of 5:30-9 was a little limiting. We had an Italian restaurant up the Street that begins with an A. We had to have dinner there one night. The food was good but no comparison to 1808. The service was terrible. I think 1808 might be a hidden gem.
The service was fantastic from the moment I checked in until the time I left. The front desk, bar, maintenance and cleaning staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. The fitness center was very nice with a variety of equipment. Very close to downtown!
Staff was friendly. Dogs barking. Noise in room above ours at 1:30 am. Food in restaurant was very bad
The Hutton is centrally located and the staff are fantastic. They also also pets and do a great job making the owners and pets feel welcome. Parking is pricey.
Extremely friendly, accommodating and beautiful hotel. I love the old school accommodations with turning down the bed at evening and water bottles whenever needed. The rooms were nice and dark with the blackout curtains, staff was some of the friendliest I have encountered and would do anything to make our stay wonderful. Amazing hotel and amazing stay. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel. Fantastic location as well. The only downfall were the few times we tried to get picked up by the shuttle. Leaving the hotel in the shuttle was never an issue but being picked up would often get very busy and we were told 7-10 min and not hear from anyone 40-50 min later. A few times pick up was fast but the majority of the time we ended up having to call uber.
We planned on going to New York or Chicago when my wife suggested Nashville. I immediately thought of honky tonks and country music, but I'm into new things and so we set a course to Nashville. There were several Hotel options, and we pick the Hutton because it seem to apeal to us more so than the others when we saw the website. we were not disappointed. We had a great time.
Shuttle Service (Tesla) Early Check in (if available) Great Service! Rooms are a bit smaller
Staff incredibly friendly Nice ambiance Clean and modern rooms Very expensive ($500 per night) and breakfast was not included. The room did not have a closet for our clothes (what was there was a closet for the luggage with no hangers) The room was big but not huge, given its cost. The location is convenient for college visit but it it is not downtown, so it is not in a pretty part of town
Staff was very professional, attentive and friendly. Great room service . Hotel was a bit further from downtown than we thought. They do provide a free shuttle, though.
Great service ( gave me a toothbrush since I forgot) happy hour, great design, friendly sincere staff. Didn't have warrior game.
Liked everything. Great hotel. Only complaint (if you make me pick one was the rooms were a tad small.
Location We only had one towel in our bathroom. No one was available to get us more. ? We paid for a Parthenon view and received a parking lot view. The air conditioning did not get below 77 degrees. Very small room. Extremely disappointed for what we paid, and what we were promised.
It waa very nice. And clean. Paying 35$ for parking in a giant empty parking garage, and not being informed at any point or with any signage guests wouls pay to park
very convenient to Vanderbilt great restaurant/lounge staff was very accomodating did not think it was a good value hotel rooms need to be updated
Nice rooms and hotel staff is very professional Parking is expensive. Given the cost of parking in the area, it is heavy handed.
Pool area was very nice, but it was only opened until 8pm nightly. Staff was incredibly rude. At check in they snapped at me for not getting my ID out (even though they never asked for it). First night at the pool, we went to the front desk for towels. They only had enough for 2 of our party (needed 4); he said he would get more and bring them too us; an hour later, still no towels. We asked them for change for a $20 for the joyride driver and the woman was rude and snapped she could not give us all $1s (which we never asked for). We said thanks and started walking out ans she snapped back again "well i didn't say i wouldn't give you change; if you want it you better get back over here and get it". Rooms were small, but ok and the breakfast was pretty good. Just not impressed with the staff.
Iv stayed here numerous times and I highly recommend it to anyone Love love love it
I really liked the staff and how friendly they were. I also really enjoyed the breakfast that they had. The only thing that I did not like was the ironing board in the room. It was bent on the feet and leaked water.
The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. This hotel is walking distance to Bridgestone Arena and the entertainment on Broadway. The proximity to the highway was a nice touch as well.
The Internet was broken and the staff tried to help the best that they could. I asked to speak with someone about the fact that it was out all night when I specifically needed a hotel room with Internet post my surgery. I was told a supervisor would call. Still waiting. I lost a day of work and still have not been contacted to handle the issue.
It was a run of the mill comfort inn. I have stayed in may comfort inns across America, and this was not much different than the rest. Friendly staff, full breakfast, average room for a comfort inn. If you want to stay close to down town than this is the right place to save money and still be close. It is not a top grade top of the line hotel, but it is a average comfort inn. No complaints here, it was exactly what I exspected it to be. Good for value and location, bad if you want a top of the line Butler kind of place. Breakfast, room, staff, enjoyable stay. Its a typical comfort inn. No more no less.
Location is great. It's very central and it's good for a cheaper option to the other hotels in the area. Bathrooms are very small and in need of remodeling
Location Not clean, very much a motel. They were also doing a lot of concrete work onsite and consistently lied about when they were going to be done with the work so I spent most of the time listening to concrete saws. Absolutely horrible. I went down to the lobby at one point to beg them to stop and was met by nearly everyone staying there checking out despite just arriving. not a great place. Definitely the worst stay I've had anywhere (and I travel every week)
Terrible hotel. Not clean. Bad location. No security!
Great location on music row. Good price on short notice. Terrible Internet. Room was dirty, had previous guest's towels in bathroom. Continental breakfast was bad by continental breakfast standards. Room smelled terrible, a musty/mildew aroma.
Everyone there were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. TV - couldn't get sound on a couple of channels.
Location is great. Not to far from Broadway St. There are restaurants across the street from this hotel to eat at, if you want to stay close. The beds were comfortable and clean. Our room was was clean and nice. The hot breakfast was good. The even made omelets for you if you wanted one, no charge. All of the hotels in the downtown area make you pay for parking. Some as high as $30 per night. We only had to pay $10 per night her at the Comfort Inn. I will be stopping here again. The pool was under construction/renovation and the elevator rocks and shakes when it moves up or down. Like a ride at an attraction. You have to book it online to get a cheaper rate. They wanted $50 more at the front desk on a walkin. They didn't believe me when I showed them the online price. They should have just worked with me. So I booked it standing right there in front of them.
Nicely updated hotel--very close to Vanderbilt University, the reason for our trip to Nashville low water flush toilet had to be flushed 2 to 3 times on certain occasions.
Your very friendly staff and the shuttle to the 'honky tonks' We only stayed for 2 nights and we should have stayed for 4! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the hotel 'upgraded' us to their executive floor - but no one told us about the executive lounge, perhaps a missed opportunity to impress?
I was scheduled for surgery at a nearby hospital at 5 AM. This hotel was conveniently located. When we arrived, we discovered the hotel was being renovated. Parking was disturbed, registration was located on the second floor, and there was noises of construction outside our window. I also stepped on a sewing needle during the evening that was embedded in the carpet.
It was nice and clean, sooooo convenient location, good quality breakfast.
Nothing Over priced, dirty, under construction, rude desk clerk, no breakfast, uncomfortable bed...
This hotel has live music every night which, while not significant for us, might be attractive to others. It is very close to Vanderbilt University which is a major plus for us. The air conditioners in each room are noisy.
Very helpful staff, great location and wonderful to have a shuttle available for nearby commuting. Very clean. A 4-5 star experience.
This hotel had great decor in the lobby. Also tons of great amenities - microwave and mini fridge in the room, free breakfast, happy hour snacks in lobby and live music. The location is perfect for walking downtown or to the Gulch. Only thing missing was a bar and an indoor pool.
Very nice place, laundry machines available which I needed. Really nice waiter in the restaurant. Would stay there again.
Too far from downtown Nashville if you don't have a car.
$5 Uber ride from Broadway district and shuttle to there. No shuttle service back to the hotel after 11 pm.
The staff were helpful and friendly overall, absolutely acceptable, but not stellar. The shuttle was very convenient for me to use instead of renting a car for a less than two mile trip to my business destination for the five days I was there. The shuttle drivers were especially friendly and seemed to really care about getting their passengers to their destinations safely and efficiently. The hotel needs renovation, and it lacks several of the basic amenities I've enjoyed at many other Hampton Inns (fridge, microwave, more spacious desk/work area) The carpet was older and worn, giving the impression it was dirty even if it wasn't.
Staff started slamming doors all around our room at 5am..... This is the second time this has happened at this hotel. We will not be staying there again.
Great location, clean rooms, good service and great in town shuttle N/A
Excellent location and extremely helpful front desk. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.
Very nice room, complimentary shuttle service was convenient! The only reason I gave 4 stars on comfort is because the ac unit in the room did not allow for adjustments. We were hot when we woke up.
Great hotel! Perfect location for Vanderbilt and downtown Nashville
The room was very clean and nice. Employees were very nice as well. The two women who were the workers at breakfast every day were superior. Friendly, helpful and very cheery. Totally loved them. Your two shuttle drivers Craig and John were superior as well. Had a wonderful stay.
The location was close to downtown. The room smelled like old wet carpet, the smoke detector went off for 30-40 min in the middle of the night. This was not a good nights rest!
Staff was super nice. Room was moderate size but fresh and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Overall good value in a town that tends to be fairly expensive for accommodations anywhere near the middle of things. The West End is just a great place to stay. This hotel is sort of on the edge of it but there is a lot in a short walking distance and the hotel offers a free shuttle. Not a thing to complain about!
Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful--went out of their way to make our anniversary special. The hotel shuttle was a great resource to get around town. Location is convenient to everything and costs half as much as boutique hotels 2 blocks away. Housekeeping wasnt particularly attentive--our rooms didnt always get completely freshened up from day to day, but it wasnt a huge deal for us.
Hilton Garden Inns nationwide are consistently awesome!
The staff was super fun and interactive.
Easy access to stadium for the game My bed didn't work
The staff is nice, the rooms are really comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and when I arrive late the staff provided me with go to menus so I could order food because room service was closed When I arrived a certain person was checking me in and I had reserved a room with a king bed and a whirlpool, as I was checking and there was a gentleman next to me and a gentleman who was checking that person in and they gave my room to him even though he did not have reservations. The woman who checked me and made it up by give me free breakfast every morning but still if I had these reservations at least a week or two in advance why would the front desk guy give my room away as there were any other rooms with the whirlpool available. This was my only negative about the stay and my suggestion is for the front Dess to check all avenues before giving away rooms especially for individuals who have reserve them in advance and not to people who come and stay on a regular basis and check in ad hoc versus people like me who need to make reservations because I was coming from California
Antonio at the front desk was very professional and very helpful. I had speedy check-in and check-out service. The hotel is right across the street from The Patterson house which had good appetizers and cocktails. The sorrounding area had plenty of dining options. I would definitely stay here again.
Staff was personable, helpful and responsive. Recently remodeled, everything looked clean and new. From housekeeping to bellman to valet, everyone was smiling, had a great attitude and seemed to sincerely enjoy their jobs. Convenient to downtown tourist area. A shuttle available to transport. Several good restaurants within a block of the hotel. The cost of $20/night for parking seemed high to me.
Location We paid extra for the pool and balcony. The pool was under construction. There was a 1/4 inch of dust on the balcony. Totally unusable. Waste of money and no apologies. Check in staff, Greg or George, large African American man was rude, assuming, autentacuous, and condescending. Not helpful. Rather treated a 50 year old mother and my 24 year old daughter as children. Mandatory $30 valet parking. No mention of that at booking. No free breakfast like other Courtyards. Ended up costing may more than if we had stayed at Hi,ton Garden inn or Marriott. I will NEVER go back to this hotel. My daughter is entering a doctorate program at Vandy for the next 5 years. I will be making several visits a year and other family as well. We will STAY AWAY from the Courtyard by Marriott. I suggest you do too!
Very helpful and courteous staff.
We loved the staff. They were so helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was nice. Kids enjoyed the roof top experience. Loved the shuttle service. It was easy to use and readily available for our stay. Did not like to pay to park and would have liked to have breakfast included for the price we paid. Cost was pretty steep considering nothing big seemed to be going on while we were there. We normally pay a lot less and get breakfast included.
Entire staff we interacted with were very friendly, always helpful. Location was great....free shuttle to downtown was perfect, walking distance to some great dining, bars, Vanderbilt and Centennial Park.
The location is great. Walking distance to good restaurants and the shuttle is free within a 3 mile radius. No hot tub!! And you have to pay for every tiny thing.
Short, free shuttle ride to Broadway.. Far enough from the action that you get a decent room rate and still close enough that a cab won't cost an arm and a leg. Shuttle stops at 11pm.
Gary J at the front desk was amazing. He greeted me and remembered I had a package waiting. He remember ed it was Birthday every morning and evening when he saw us in the lobby. He really made us feel welcome. In a huge hotel with hundreds of guests, I felt like we were staying in a small bed and breakfast. His customer service is top notch.
Richard was a very friendly employee. He made our visit feel like we were visiting family. The other staff is very friendly and willing to share their knowledge about places to see/go. It was very close to Midtown - a place to get away from touristy attractions, but close enough to the main strip. They even had complementary popcorn. :)
the continental breakfast was awesome. the rooms were roomy and comfortable. coke machines didn't take dollars.
That they had a shuttle that you could use. One of the employees behind the front desk.
The staff was excellent. Very nice and welcoming. The hotel was above par. Everything was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
The whole stay was great from the valet parking to checking out. It was the best hotel experience we have had in a long time. The only thing we did not like is they did not have a swimming pool and my son was upset about that.
We thought the beds were very comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. We had to switch rooms midway through our stay due to some plumbing issues, but the hotel made it easy and comped our night. Overall they were very helpful for our very large group! I found mold in the sink which is pretty disgusting. Also, we had an early flight to catch and the formal breakfast wasn't ready, but they were surprised when I simply asked for a muffin togo. Lastly, our room totaled $250 night and for that price I expect coffee to be kept out in the lobby past 10:30am! It's Nashville people, we guests are sleeping in! So, if you're not up and ready there won't be any coffee. Not to mention, they started closing up the omelette and hot food bar by 10:10am.
Convenient to downtown area. Noisy area. Especially at night. Loud music.
The hotel has a great location. Our refrigerator was broken so we asked to have it fixed.. twice. Twice they said they fixed it but our food was spoiled. On the last day, they finally fixed it. They only partially cleaned the rooms each day, hardly anything was done. Sheets weren't changed, coffee wasn't replenished, nothing was wiped down etc.. Extremely disappointed and won't be staying there again or recommending it.
The staff really made this a pleasant stay. They were always helpful and smiling. A regular restaurant in the hotel would have been nice. However, the food obtainable through the bar was of good quality, just very limited choices.
The room was huge. Like 60 paces.. and their was even a large outdoor balcony and a nice view of the city.. The room also barely had enough lights in it to adequately light the room, the furniture didnt look complete, beds and pillows weren't amazing.. it looked like they spent their small room budget on some decent things and ran out of money to finish it.. I expected much more for the price i paid..
everything, perfect stylish place, great ammenities. Staff was amazing and helpful. would recommend for any occasion! nothing
The staff was fantastic! We had a wonderful room that was one of the coolest rooms we have ever stayed in! The location was great and it was very easy to get downtown. The lobby had live music and featured a variety of very good artist! The whole hotel went above and beyond our expectations, and had a very cool vibe. The only negative is that we had a light out in the shower but the staff was extremely quick at getting it fixed!
Good location freiendly helpful staff Paying for parking
Walking distance to nightlife. It felt a bit cold. Breakfast ended too early. The workout room was in with the laundry. Pricey parking.
The front desk was really nice and helpful. We took their suggestions for dinner and ate at The Tavern, it was amazing. The room was very clean and big. The shuttle driver James was great. We loved him taking us down to Music Row. The free breakfast was very good and filling. I believe it was a full size bed? Too small for this pregnant mama! We could also hear people in their rooms so I think the walls are a little thin.
Free area shuttle rides Close access to shopping, dining, & more furnishings & amenities were not quite Hilton grade...
Free shouttle service to and from basically anywhere without long waiting times. Music row (right around the corner) is the area where the locals go out. The view on the 2nf floor was pretty bad, but we only were there at night time anyways.
The rooms are very spacious. The vibrant colors are great :-) The staff are super friendly and are available at all times.
Staff were very friendly; kitchen was convenient; location was excellent The rooms are definitely not as modern as the pics (upscale is the last adjective I'd use to describe it). Awkwardly placed and very cheap looking furniture; no real closet, just 3 pieces of plywood with a curtain! Free breakfast is limited; guests are made to microwave their choice of pre-wrapped sandwiches.
Lots of space in the room and two queen beds. The large hot tub was fun for kids. Free breakfast was nice and $22 parking was reasonable. Close to food and night life at the edge of Vanderbuilt Univ. Short shuttle ride to downtown. Floor could have been vacuumed better and a little walk from parking garage to hotel. Overall great hotel and stay. Couldn't think of better place.
Apples and Nutella at the front desk.
Very clean No body lotion provided.
Room was well-equipped and spacious. Super clean. Can't think of anything.
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Excellent location. Friendly staff and a large, clean room. Beware that parking is an additional $25. Didn't expect the parking fee since we were not downtown. After parking and a cab ride downtown we should have paid extra to stay downtown.
The hotel was in an ideal location, the room was clean, and staff was friendly. Leaving microwave popcorn in the kitchenette was a nice touch. No vending on our floor without going over to the Springhill side.
The staff was great with the problem of a party in one of the rooms. They kicked the idiot parties out and gave us an upgraded room. The shuttle driver was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel. No.
Wonderful staff and the cleanliness superb!!
Staff was great, and they were quite busy that evening as well. Several other guests beat us to the shuttle service and we missed out.
The 2 bedroom suite was very nice and roomy. We were disappointed to hear we had to pay for parking nightly.
The room was beautiful and clean. Loved the happy hour the location was great the lobby had an upscale feel. We enjoyed the complementary weekday dinner and daily breakfast complements to the chef The shuttle service was not reliable during the day. Communications could have been better. When we were dropped off downtown the driver should have mentioned that she would not be available for pickup between during certain hours so we would not have been wAiting outside in the cold Also parking fees were on the high side
Queen suite, clean room and dishes, good view of Nashville, Slow check in, confusion about where to park car, lots of disorder getting stuff out of car
The hotel was super clean and the staff was very accommodating. They offered free breakfast and free dinner which we thought was very nice. The only negative was the shuttle service. It's a great service but it's a little unorganized and chaotic.
Clean. Spacious (in terms of the room and common areas). Very attentive, capable and cordial staff. The building also had a bit of architectural character, too. I've already booked my next stay!
The Kaya deal was not a deal astheprice was 50lower per night when we got there.
The facilities were nice. Large, clean room. Exercise room and pool areas looked very nice although we didn't use them. Staff was frequently boarder line rude. Generally not attentive to needs. Food served was edible and that's about as nice as I can say. The 'kitchen staff' made very little attempt to make things appealing.
I liked having a full kitchen in which I could prepare some meals so I didn't have to eat out all the time. The shuttle they provided saved me money on transportation. The breakfast had a lot of options and the pool was larger than I expected. The highlight of the hotel however was the friendly helpfulness of the staff at every level. I can't think of anything I didn't like.
We loved everything except the pool. Awesome room, dining, accommodations, etc The indoor pool was too cold to swim in.
Not much. That my 2 and 1/2 year old found a Qtip within 2 minutes of entering our room. We were there 4 nights and although someone made our beds, nobody every cleaned. They checked on us once to see if we needed more towels and overall the staff was not very helpful or attentive. It was not worth the money we spent to stay there.
Similar to a basic chain like Holiday Inn. Staff is very nice, location is about a mile from Broadway and is a $5 Uber ride. Restaurants around the hotel are within walking distance. Breakfast is limited to muffins, fruit, and drinks, no hot food like eggs. Overall a safe, clean, hotel in a good location.
We stayed for 4 nights recently. The hotel was only 15 blocks from downtown which is an easy walk if you don't mind it. Saves you the $10 to go to and from downtown via taxi. Midtown is also close which has some fun restaurants. We had 4 girls in a 2-queen bed room. Plenty of space and it was clean. Room had a little wet bar with a nice size fridge and microwave. The breakfast had fresh hot waffles, omelettes, biscuits and gravy! Not enough plugs or lighting in the room, but no big deal, we made it work! Also, no bathroom fan, so when you showered or dried your hair it got hot, and no iron in the room. We didn't need it but just noticed there was not one.
In reviewing this hotel, my wife and I expected it to be neat, clean, and simple--a good place for a quick overnight trip and comparable to other hotels of the same ranking. This was not the case! The hotel appeared as if it had not been maintained and kept up for some time. Upon exiting the elevator, we were hit with this horrible, unidentifiable smell!! Needless to say we went right downstairs to see about a refund. Both the hotel management and company we booked through were willing to give us a refund. That act of graciousness was the one good thing we can say about the hotel.
Location and lower cost than the rest of the downtown Nashville hotels Room service menu stated it would go until 1am, we ordered and they called back and stated that they couldn't deliver to hotel because it only went until 11pm. No shuttle, called for a cab and cab never showed up. Rooms need updating.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. It is located too close to major roadway where you can hear the traffic early in the morning.
Nothing Had to wait 4 hours after check in time for room to be ready. Staff not friendly. Not clean. Horrible parking. Door locked us outside in freezing conditions key didn't work. Awful stay all around. Avoid this hotel.
The bathroom layout was fairly institutional - wall hung sink with no counters and an awkward shower configuration that made it difficult not to get water everywhere. The price was lower than some of the other hotels in that area, but on previous visits I paid less at hotels east of the city with far better amenities. Since I was only staying 3 nights and not planning to eat in my room, the full size refrigerator and two burner stove weren't of value to me.
