Pros:

I was told hours before my trip that the large SUV that I had rented was not available. I was given a mini van and that was my only option. I even called their customer service and the woman on the phone spoke to me like I was trying to get something for free. IF I WANTED TO DRIVE AROUND IN A MINI VAN, I WOULD HAVE RENTED A MINI VAN. The Hertz front desk seemed rude and uninvolved in the customerexperience. This ruined my trip before it even started. I will never rent from Hertz again.

Cons:

Everything! From fulfilling the correct rental car contract to the customer service I was provided.

The staff was considerate and professional.

Cons:

There were specific notices saying that extra cleaning measures were being taken. There was a fingernail clipping sitting right in the cubby above my glove compartment. Hard to reconcile those two things.

Pros:

Car ran well. Was affordable.

Cons:

Car had an expired inspection sticker, a cracked windshield, and needed an oil change before I returned it. Office seemed suspiciously vacant and customer service was kind yet oddly casual which gave room for doubt as to how protected I was with the rental.

Pros:

The staff was friendly, fast, and thorough. The rep walked around the car with me to check for pre-existing damage. My car was clean amd comfortable.

Cons:

I rented from an off-airport location due to the low amount of vehicles available in the city. Although Enterprise will "come pick you up", they cannot do that if you're at the airport. So I had to add a $35 Uber ride to the total. The rental was WAY overpriced for a Nissan Altima ($96/day), but they did not have to add a slew of additional fees like the airport places. But the staff were a good group of people. None of that stuff was in their control. I also dropped the car off before they opened. It was weird just leaving the car there, and putting keys in a drop box. I am used to airport locations with 24-hour presence. I never got a phone call or email letting me know they received the vehicle back. I only dropped it off about an hour before they opened, I'm sure it was fine.

Car was fine. Getting to the off airport pick up was complicated, pick up and drop off took a long time. The check in process was a little strange, they require you to have your own car insurance to rent.

Bad. They notify me once I arrived at the airport that I had to wait 20 mins for them to sent a shuttle to come pick me up to take me to the car rental place. That’s too far and too inconvenient

Definitely not “easy to rent”. We waited for 1.5 hours for a shuttle to pick us up from the designated area. Called the office 2 times and was told the shuttle driver should be coming by… I was then put on hold for 21 minutes before I hung up. By that time, 10 other people showed up to be picked up and they, too, called and were placed on hold or told the same thing. When the shuttle finally came and was dropped off at the office there was only one gentlemen manning the desk. The procedure was clunky and, of course, was lengthy. They didn’t have the car we rented ready so, for the sake of our time, we accepted a lesser vehicle. While the guy at the desk was friendly nought, all we kept hearing was “it’s not my fault people don’t do their jobs”… over all, it was a pretty frustrating experience. Not worth saving a few extra $ since we had to Uber from the drop off because the office was closed.

I do not recommend Easirent and will not use them again. Wait for pick up at airport was very long. Time for paperwork and processing at facility was very long and slow. It was supposed to be low cost but multiple add on costs made it not such a good deal. Car was very dirty on inside - seat was very stained to the point that I needed to get a seat cover. Checkout was fast but I got no accounting at end of rental and did not get receipt. I am waiting to see what the final cost will be. Staff people were friendly.

When I booked it, stated it was on the airport campus. It was not. We had to wait for a shuttle. One man had been waiting 45 minutes. The shuttle came and it was a 10-15 minute ride from the airport. We arrived and there were no cars. There were about 5 other parties waiting for cars. One couple had already been waiting 2.5 hours. I canceled my reservation and got an Uber. I learned my lesson and will never use a company I’m not familiar with again. It wasn’t worth saving money.
