Cons: "I sat next to a creepy intoxicated man during my flight and I was not helped out. When I first sat down he was speaking to me and trying to hit on me but I showed that I wasn’t interested. I didn’t even have to sit down to smell the alcohol on him. During the flight he tried to place his head on my shoulder and tried to get close to me. I was too worried to call for an attendant because he was intoxicated but when the attendants would come and offer us food I tried to make it clearly visible that I was anxious and uncomfortable and NOTHING. To make it worse they continued to serve him alcohol!!"

I prayed for safety and for the pilots and crew; the turbulence stopped after that and our arrival wasn't all that delayed."

Also, please be more kind to baggage."
Cons: "Tray table was broken, I was downgraded from Comfort plus to main cabin after a plane swap with no mention by anyone and no compensation. Flight was delayed 45 minutes because a flight attendant was running late and then to top it off, at the end of. The flight the attendants blocked anyone fromaim cabin from leaving until all of first class had departed, even when no one was coming they still Blocked it off. This is a practice I have never seen on delta and haven't seen in aviation in almost 20 years in the US"

Cons: "What I did not like was the process to go to the assigned air terminal in El Salvador, the process was slow and we took the flight at the end of the last one. The same was the process from Los Angeles to Seattle that was our scale. Process too long and go back through security, the boarding gate was almost closed. I think that for these cases they should leave more time for the stopovers that come from international flights. For my part I did not choose this option, since I was traveling with a person with mobility problems and separated the group for admission to the process of entering the USA."

Virgin Australia contatcted out their flight from SJC to LAX through Delta and Delta cancelled flights becaue no-show of Pilot to operate the plan. What a Joke???? We asked them to put us through another carrier to LAX for connecting flight they refused.Very very BAD. It was a big miss for us.. never again Delta/Virgin Australia.............."

We didn't get our seats until we got to the gate because apparently we bought our tickets too soon to take off, which was three weeks. Also, staff claimed there wasn't enough bin space so asked people to check their bags. We saw people with two big bags get on board at the start, and then staff made everyone at the back of the line check their bags. But there was plenty of bin space before take off. And we were seated in the last row which can't recline."

The airline cancelled the flight at 1.30 in the morning so no one was able to get a stay in a hotel not did the airline take any action towards helping the stranded passengers. We were given blankets and pillows. The best thing was the ground staff getting rude after all passengers complaining. They were basically saying we should get stuffed since we were booked for a flight next day same day. This is shameful! Needless to say that I will not fly this airline again!"

Pros: "Reassuring that the airport desk staff were keeping an eye on my connection from LAX to Columbus. Turned out it was too tight of a squeeze and I missed the connecting airplane's door closing by a few minutes, despite having RUN through LAX to get there."
Cons: "I am disappointed by the lack of communication among Delta staff when we arrived at LAX. Our turn-around was late coming into SMF, thus late leaving. It would have been very helpful if the gate staff at LAX had advised me to not bother to try to make my connection, or called the next gate to tell them we were running over there. RUNNING. Or at least done something to act like they cared. I am disappointed by the lack of initiative. I understand flights cannot wait, and I would have greatly appreciated being saved the trouble of running to a different terminal and instead taking that time to change my travel plans. They may see travelers struggling like this daily, but to each traveler, a hiccup in travel plans trip is stressful and urgent. I ask Delta staff to please consider that when they come to work. Thank you."

There was a problem getting on, they allowed premium members to board but when I got to the plane, I was scolded by the cleaning crew lady (maybe the Mgr) that they were not ready and that she had informed 'them' of that and that no one is allowed to board while they are cleaning."

A few hours later i was hungry and tried to buy some food but the cabin crew just gave my another breakfast item. The flight arrived on time, and the luggage was delivered a few minutes after I arrived at the baggage area."

Cons: "Everything that could have gone wrong with my flights, went wrong. On my way from LA to Raleigh (through Atlanta), I was affected by the weather conditions at Atlanta. I understand that the weather is beyond Delta's scope of control, but customer service is not. I had to wait in line at LAX for 8 hours to even get information on what had happened, and what solutions were available. The customer service call center was collapsed, and at the airport counters at one point there was ONLY ONE DELTA REPRESENTATIVE serving a line of more than 100 upset customers. This IS Delta's fault, and it is unacceptable. This definitely was under Delta's control, but in order to save a few dollars in overtime for emergency staff Delta was willing to let its customers make terribly long lines, miss their flights, their connections and consequently their commitments. It is disappointing to observe how Delta believes that a few dollars saved on extra staff and emergency measures can offset the irreparable long term damage to its business due to upset customers. My way back from Raleigh to Los Angeles was also a disaster. Without any type of explanation and nothing more than an email announcing the change, the nonstop flight I bought was replaced by a 1-stop flight with connection in Atlanta. This was NOT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. There is a reason I paid a premium for a nonstop flight, and Delta did not hesitate in providing me with a less valuable product without any explanation or refund. Delta prioritizes its operational metrics - an obsession to fill and overbook its capacity - over its customers' experience, one again under the foolish belief that short term savings in any way offset the long term damage of disappointed and alienated customers. I will NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN. I will do whatever I can to transmit my experience to everyone I know. At a time where major airline carriers are in the spotlight due to abusive practices (i.e. the United passenger case), I still find hope in knowing that alternatives such as Southwest still put their customers first, over the ethereal benefits that a few-dollar savings in operational expenses can provide."

Ontop of that the crew which is normally excellent, was feisty and rude and wanted nothing to do with their job"

In the lowered expectations world of modern air travel, this was relatively OK, which means I recommend it and would fly with them again."
Cons: "I had a reserved Comfort Class Aisle seat, purchased at time of reservation and showing as my assigned seat through printing of boarding pass. At the gate, my seat was reassigned to a middle seat. This is a huge problem for me, as my back and leg injuries require the ability to stretch and move frequently. When complaining on Delta phone lines, I was told that the seat was needed for a Diamond member and therefore was "policy" to bump. Although I eventually received some compensation for the fact I paid more for the original seat, I remain very disappointed in Delta, if this is indeed the policy."

Cons: "I bought a duty-free bag at the Colombian airport specifically for storing liquids (namely two bottles of alcohol) and was told this was standard procedure. The bag was not to be opened until my final destination (Los Angeles). Long story short, when I arrive at the Panama airport they insist that they are going to have to throw the alcohol away despite the fact that I bought it in a duty-free zone at another airport and had not left said zone in this airport. It was also obvious the alcohol had not been tampered with as the bag I purchased was sealed tightly (some sort of glue). I had to take my son's personal carry-on (a backpack), take all of his things out of it, and check the bag as checked-in luggage. The Panaminian airport staff claimed I would still have issues in Los Angeles. They were completely wrong - no officer made any sort of comment about it since the alcohol was still in the sealed bag with a notice that said it would not be opened until the final destination. Incredibly unprofessional behavior."

For an international flight from Bogota where you have located your main airplane base ? I do believe that land staff is very poorly train compared to inflight crew. I couldn’t get home on the other airline because it was full, so I had to buy another ticket to another city and had a family member pick me up, so we drove an additional hour. From the time I went to the airport in La Paz, took me 24 hours to get home. I had to work the next day."

Cons: "The landing was horrifying. After being on many commercial flights over the years I have never felt this way about a flight experience. The pilot seemed very inexperienced nor skilled at landing. The plane first took a plunge leaving everyone grabbing their seats in fear. The plane was going way too fast as we then continued descending while the plane tilted to the side and then the nose of the plane tipped downwards. To best describe the situation, the plane was completely out of control. Everyone around me was frightened and talking about the awful experience. Flight attendants nor the pilot made any mention of what happened nor did they make an announcement to make passengers aware that there may be some difficulty landing. Therefore passengers were left to wonder what really happened but it seemed as if this was the first time the pilot had flown a plane. After the landing I was sick for the rest of the day with nausea. I would like a refund and will report this matter to the FAA for answers and I believe they should investigate what happened on this flight for safety matters. I did not feel safe at all, and I have never had an experience like this. I'm afraid to ever fly AVIANCA again."

Pros: "Their service has lowered the standards though and that is why I do not grade them 5 stars. In particular the crew in the plane was not as nice and the food was not as good as before. Compared to other airlines I frequent though, Avianca is the best."

Pros: "On the flight down from Miami to Cartagena, we did not expect a meal...and since we are all vegetarians, pretty much did not get one, but the flight attendants gave us what they could. I called Avianca and requested vegetarian and received for all 6 of us! Also, pleased that my whole family was seated in one row."

Cons: "How they play yoyo with the fare....i paid about $1100.00 for a round trip flight from miami to barranquilla, and a couple of days later it dropped to half the price. On my way back from barranquilla to miami, i was excatly 4 minutes late, they refused to let me on the flight, which was not even boarding yet (1 hour away from flight time). They forced me to buy a one-way flight back, with connecting flight, for $550. I don't know if this even going to make any difference, or even be read, for that matter, but i thought i would relay that to other customers who are thinking about flying with avianca."

On this flight, me and my son were left without a hot breakfast and their excuse was "sorry, we ran out" so we got only the leftovers from the serving trays. It's sad how airlines keep getting worst by the day."

Please do not travel with Aeromexico if your destination is not Mexico. The problem is that Mexico requires passport checks for transit passengers. The lines were huge when I arrived and I waited 2 hours in line to have my passport checked and then by the time I arrived to the gate the boarding for my next flight had already started. AM plans are generally very old and poorly maintained. When my flight to SFO was about to take off the cockpit cabin door was thrown open. The entertainment system didn't work. the buttons for light and call button didn't work and I was in business class. I will do my best to avoid Aeromexico in future.

Cons: "Ticket counter was stubborn to release our boarding passes despite having already checked in online. Saying we were “too late”. The kiosk would not release our boarding passes either. Yet, we breezed right through security to the gate and we’re first to board the plane having had to actually wait awhile before boarding. The ticket counter person unnecessarily made us wait even longer when we were already running late due to having spent 11 hours in the hospital day prior from E. coli. The boarding process was also sloppy. Three different attendants asked to see our passports. Why did everyone need to verify us? We were asked very silly and seemingly unnecessary questions before boarding further slowing the process. We were asked before boarding if we had checked a bag, not sure what difference that made."

Cons: "After being the only person pulled out of line for my carryon and myself to be checked at the boarding gate, I asked a simple question to the lady who profiled me, “what made you profile me for this additional security check out of hundreds of passengers here, I’d like to know”. I was met with such rude behavior which I never encountered with any airline before. Not only was her attitude rude, she couldn’t answer my question and Aeromexico didn’t bother to get someone fluent in English to answer me. Notice I wasn’t refusing the security check; it’s just that they were rude, cold and made me feel like a criminal while checking me. They need to improve their system for security checks at the boarding gate. I don’t understand why I had to be checked further bc they already check every passenger before entering the gates and boarding area. I still don’t know the answer to my question. The lady’s attitude embarrassed me and ruined my experience. Aeromexico should retrain their staff and make them realize it’s bc of us they have a job and they should be serving us with proper customer service and have their attitudes in check. Because I have every right to ask that question and will continue to do so! I forgot the lady’s name..but would be happy if my msg got taken seriously and the lady made aware.."

Then, they took our check-in luggage from the plane and it went through an inspection (bag by bag), so this caused another hour delay. After that they gave us our check-in luggage for us to take it to another location (to another floor) within the airport to be checked-in again. They wanted to charge us $20.00 additional per check-in bag even though they were half of the weight limit. After we complained, they dropped this charge. Due to all the delays we lost our connection and we had to book another flight. Not a good experience. We will never make a stop in Mexico in the future."

At this point it was 3AM and all passengers were told to call Aeromexico's support number to re-book their flights. Aeromexico staff does not speak English well and when I asked them to speak slower I was cursed at and hung up on. I finally called again and was given 2 options: agree to a flight that would DESTROY my vacation or get a refund. Scared and exhausted, I told them I didn't understand, and the flight didn't work, and guess what, they re-booked me anyway, and said that since I was re-booked any change to my ticket would entitles them to my entire $1,100 fare. Aeromexico is a criminal enterprise. Never book with them! Kayak, you should cut all ties with this airline!"

I ended up paying for a dinner in the airport only to be served a dinner at 12:30 am on the flight. It would make more sensed to have a light snack at that hour and a better breakfast served in the morning. The US Customs card handed to me was in Spanish only. An English option would have been good."
