I really like this airline I just wish that they would make arrangements with connecting flights when one is a few minutes late it’s ridiculous hold up your travel for what would’ve been about five minutes

It wasn't until I looked at the Departure board in the Avianca lounge did I know of the 3+ hr. delay. When we finally boarded, at least the captain was kind enough to explain the reason for the delay - Avianca needed to change aircrafts, then the originally slated captain called in sick and his replacement had to wait out the required time off as he had just completed a long haul flight from Canada to Colombia. Once arrived in Orlando, two out of the four of us missed our flight to JFK because they gave us the wrong boarding passes and because we are students in college, lost multiple hours of studying tonight. We had to then work with Delta who was kind enough to find us a flight multiple hours later. Like said before, this split our group up and caused multiple difficulties. We will never fly Copa again. They believe a $400 Copa airlines voucher is justifiable for what happened but it is not. I’ll never fly with them again for this inconvenience so a voucher doesn’t do anything."

I bought my son’s tickets 3 months before the flight through an agency just to request flight attendant services. On the day of the flight the agency called me in the morning saying Latam had canceled the flight from Boston and that aid have to drive my son yo New York. I get that the poor communication wasn’t Latam’s fault but I called Latam at least a dozen times to confirm that everything was OK and that my son would still have the flight attendant service and I was told by many different customers services that things were OK but when we got to the airport I had the most horrible time ever. They told me the service was requested but but approved and that my son would have to flight without the flight attendant service and they kept telling me since he’s 12 he didn’t need flight attendant? An international flight for the very first time unaccompanied and they wanted me to just let it happen? It took me over 1 hour of arguing and explaining that I’ve bought the tickets over 3 months ahead of time just to be certain that my son would have the flight attendant services on both ways and they finally told me they’d add the service last minute because they understood that my flight from Boston got canceled. I paid $150 each way and my son did not seat with the other kids nor was supervised during the flights. They simply sat him and disappeared until the flight landed. I cannot believe how ridiculous and irresponsible this was and I really hope to never use Latam’s services again. I DO NOT recommend Latam to anyone. I had the most difficult time ever and I always do everything ahead of time to make sure things go smoothly. The agency where I bought the tickets is located in Marlborough, Ma right in Main st abs I also do not recommend anyone to waste time and money with them. I cannot believe that they waited until the day of the flight to inform me I had to drive 4 hours plus to a different state. Of course it’s my mistake for not have checked but I left the agency with the paper print out with the flight information saying I’d leave from Boston so I trusted it. Not going to happen again. I always bought my international tickets online and never had any problems but since my son was Ma going to travel alone, I decided to use the agency. Horrible experience. I’m so happy it’s over.

I have two elder people with me and i did not like that we have to split to be able to get home. The counter people does not know how fix situation and don't understand reasons.we wanted to board the plabe together as we purchase the ticket. i dont know why my ticket was the itenary the same as when we left to Peru. I feel that what I choose was not acceptable that.my itenary could be change to however Latam wants to do. That is very not nice and not restpetful to my wishes. Cons: "I needed to change my flight because of a death in the family. To change my flight was more expensive than the initial ticket itself. That is ridiculous. You should not do that to people. There should be a $300 change fee and that's it. At most. The entertainment would be good if I could hear it - but I couldn't. The sound was terrible. Uncomfortable seats. Barely slept. Overal terrible experience. Also turn on the damn entertainment while we are waiting on the tarmac - why wait until we are in the air? Almost every other airline - all the good ones - Emirates, Lufthansa, and other quality airlines - will let you access the in flight entertainment as soon as you sit. But the change cost of the ticket was the most offensive thing. I feel robbed, in a time of tragedy."

The telephone service for questions, while in Peru, was terrible. My flight reservation number was changed and I needed to talk to someone. I had to call the States help line instead of the local number which had a non working automated answering menu."
Pros: "We were lucky enough to have a flight on a new plane. It was in good condition, clean, and had plenty of entertainment options. I was able to charge my phone and the meal was good. my favorite thing was that I was able to check a bag for free!!"
Cons: "The flight at first had a 3 HOUR delay do to a "mechanical breakdown". We were told that they were going to bring another airplane from Rio de Janeiro. After the 3 hours passed they were only announcing in Portuguese to board the original plane. They never changed planes or provided a clear explanation to the passengers. Many of us refused to board. This was one of the worse experiences I have ever had. The staff was disrespectful and would not help us. We ended up taking another flight until the following night!!"

Cons: "Cold ham and cheese on bread... Was cheap and gross. WiFi didn't work the whole flight. Insensitive flight attendants assume I'm with others as a family just because we were black. Not very friendly at all. Safety video makes it seem like everyone in Mexico/on their flights present as white. Should have more diverse actors. Get it together and be representative of the population you serve."

Cons: "We fly in 777 plane, but the crew member already occupied all of my overhead baggage space. I need to move two seat back for my bag. I am already the first passenger on board of the plane. That also cost the other passenger think I occupied their baggage space and be not too friendly with me during the trip. The notice board in the airport is confuse, we know the gate and the depart time, but no one show up until 120 min before the plane depart. And finally the plane delay and no information show the plane will delay for how long. Bad information in the counter My handle of the sit is broken I have photo to proof if you would need it, I save it with me. The lighting system in the plane is very stupid or may be the crew don't know how to operate, every time they just turn on all the light no matter we are sleep or not! This is a red eye flight passenger should have a choice to not get disturb, when the light on I need to turn it off every time! And the next passenger don't really know how to turn the light off that always on during the flight! Super bad flying experience. Not comfortable at all. Can't sleep much!"

I needed to add my 2,4yr old to my trip.The Aromexico agent wanted to charge me over 1000.00 for the two children, to travel with me even though online the tickets were $200.00.They would not let me book my tickets online because the children were minors even though my ticket was already bought. I ended up purchasing tickets on delta to get to Cancun. However I was under the impression that I would return with Aeromexico on the round trip ticket I had already bought.NO! according to Aeromexico even though you buy a round trip ticket if you fail to use 1 leg of the trip you loose both ways WHAT! Then they refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor it was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with an airline in the 30 yrs that I have been traveling internationally. I would paddle boat rather than use this air again."

Pros: "Aeromexico stole my money and never let me board a flight. My initial flight was cancelled due to mechanical issues after a 3 hour delay in the airport. At this point it was 3AM and all passengers were told to call Aeromexico's support number to re-book their flights. Aeromexico staff does not speak English well and when I asked them to speak slower I was cursed at and hung up on. I finally called again and was given 2 options: agree to a flight that would DESTROY my vacation or get a refund. Scared and exhausted, I told them I didn't understand, and the flight didn't work, and guess what, they re-booked me anyway, and said that since I was re-booked any change to my ticket would entitles them to my entire $1,100 fare. Aeromexico is a criminal enterprise. Never book with them! Kayak, you should cut all ties with this airline!"
Cons: "I had purchased a ticket to fly from Puerto Escondido to Mexico City on Thursday, November 24. When I arrived at the airport, I came to an airport that was "shutdown". According to a few people I spoke to, it was because of a protest. I was not emailed or notified that I was wasting my time and money trying getting to an airport that wasn't flying out any planes that day. I was very distraught and disappointed because I am a foreigner and there was no representative front the airport or airline that this was happening and what's are the next steps I should take to get on the next plane back to United States. I spent hours and hours calling Aeromar about rebooking my flight for tomorrow so I can get out of this city. It was a nightmare on the phone because it was like the employees were trained not to help. I was told it wasn't their fault, and I need to call aero Mexico to get this straightened out. Not one employee from the many I spoke to consistently throughout the day tried to rebook my flight. They wanted me to pay for another flight which is absolutely ridiculous. I missed my flight because of some protest, something not in my control, and i kept being told too bad. I did not get offfere one solution by your staff. I was left to figure what I was going to do by myself. I didn't leave Puerto Escondido until 24 hours after I was suppose to and it was not by the help of your staff. Because of this, I will highly consider not buying tickets from this airline of their is any other option because it was an awful experience. One of He aero Mexico employees told me to stop acting childish because I was upset about missing my flight for reasons i didn't control. The customer service for aero Mexico was worse then aeromar. They kept blaming aero mar and kept saying they need to figure everything out, yet these two airline work together. Aero Mexico is the one that helps get the flight to other smaller cities. All around I had a miserable day and not one person I called from aero Mexico, like aero mar helped me or offered a solution."

Cons: "I'd been warned that Aeromexico is notorious for baggage weight overages. When returning to JFK from Mexico City, I was lucky with my checked bag, but when boarding the flight, an employee had me put my carry-on, my purse, the heavy wool coat I had removed during security, along with a 1.5L bottle of water and other items I'd purchased in the terminal, on a scale, then declared my carry-ons were 4 kilos over the airline's allowance. I then had to head down the terminal to a customer service desk to pay ~$60USD so I'd be allowed to board and not miss my flight. I was the last person on-board. They didn't do this at JFK on my 1st leg of the trip, as I suspect they know they'd never get away with this in the States. I spoke to employees aboard the flight, then at JFK upon arrival, and also on the phone. No luck yet regarding a refund for highway robbery."
Cons: "The JFK airport has no connection between terminal 1 where the domestic flight arrives with terminal 4 where the international flight zone is. I had to take a train from terminal 1 to 3 and then go outside the airport, walk on the street for 3 blocks and get into the airport again. Once inside terminal 4 nobody could help us (we were 20 people doing the same connection) and we went from one person to other asking what to do next and nobody knew. We were so afraid of losing our flight. Finally one police person helped us and we had to pass check point again when we had to take our shoes and be scanned again. Then we had to run because the plane was leaving. This was the worst traveling experience in my whole life. I tweet about it and I had no response."
