Cons: Entertainment system was old and slow. So-so food. Air New Zealand was better than Quantas for similar journey at same week of year and about the same price.

Pros: I like the fact that qantas boards the passengers in the back and works their way forward! Ive seen airlines do the opposite and it takes forever and very inefficient. So good job qantas. Much appreciated.

Cons: Delayed at takeoff but made some time back in the air and captain rearranged connecting flights for passengers. Food portions were a bit small at mealtimes.

Cons: the plane was small, old, not comfortable and not remotely up to the standards that we expect from Qantas or the A380s we typically get from CA to SYD. If I book Qantas - I expect a certain level of service - otherwise, I would save the money and just go with the cheapest airline.

Pros: Service and staff were great. Especially liked that they provide a personal kit for everyone which has a toothbrush, toothpaste and an eye mask and ear plugs. Excellent!

Cons: It was just TOO COLD! I had the sniffles for four days after arriving. The reclining seat didn't have much lumbar support.

Pros: Relatively smooth flight. Good snacks at back of plane. Plenty of bathrooms. Crew were courteous and helpful.

Cons: Headphone jack and USB charging jack didn't work. So wasn't able to watch any movies. Arm rest was broken. When the seat in front reclines it gets very tight forcing you to recline and do it to the person behind you. Needs refurbishing. The seats are in poor shape and are pretty tight.

Pros: For a coach flight it was pretty standard. I did feel the penne pasta that I had for dinner was a little lacking. Breakfast was good.

Pros: They provided much more than a seat. One of us was overcome with air sickness. The flight attendants provided all the help and comfort necessary to recover from sickness. They were indeed very helpful. We are very thankful and grateful for all the care they gave us during the flight.

Pros: Quantas rerouted our SFO - SDY non stop trouble LAX to pick up 28 Passengers!! So 270 Passengers ha to endure an additional 3grs 30 min. No compensation not even a drink voucher! Not up to Quantas standards.

Pros: The crew was amazing! Its amazing the difference in overall politeness of that australian based flight crew vs a US based crew. Every need, every question, every request answered with a smile.

Pros: The staff was great, the individual screens and entertainment options were great. Boarding and service was excellent. Included meal and meal options.

Cons: Not a lot of leg room. My husband and I are both 6ft / 1.8m and on such a long flight, 13hrs it got uncomfortable

Pros: I was surprised by the amount of food included in the fare. I was not expecting two full meals. I also appreciated all the movie choices. Thanks for making a 14 hour flight bearable.

Pros: You have a good airline. It was clean and everyone was friendly all communication was good EXCEPT before I got to the airport I forgot my visa and thought all I’d have to do is call Qantas and they’d advise me.

Cons: Every time I’d call an 800 number I’d get someone in South Africa who was sooooo unhelpful. I’m sure she had her script but for heavensake all I needed to do was to go online and get a visa. And I saw someone in San Francisco at the ticket counter get a visa and yet I was told I wouldn’t be flying that night as I had forgotten to get a visa. No help at all !! I know I wasn’t the only person that ever got a visa. I was told to call my consulate. Clearly there was a simple way to get a visa and I was so freaked out until I figured it out myself. Made it so unpleasant.

Cons: I was booked on flight QF 74 from San Francisco, connecting in Sydney (3 hour connection) to Queenstown, New Zealand. When I went to check in I was told that I needed a transit visa for Australia because of my Indian Passport. When I booked the flight back in September, it was not a requirement to have a transit Visa. I was told by the Qantas supervisor that this was a new requirement as of October for Indian and Chinese passport holders even with brief connections. 9 people were in a similar situation the day before and denied boarding. I understand that things change, but I am very disappointed in the service provided to me. Of course, they could not help me get an evisa for Australia, but they were not even willing to help me search for it rebook a Qantas flight connecting in a different city/country. They did not even connect me with online reservations directly to quickly do something to be able to continue on my journey. They only gave me a phone number to call and sent me away. I tried the number and was on hold for almost an hour. Luckily, my friends were on a different flight on Air New Zealand that had seats leaving in 2 hours, and I almost missed that waiting to talk to someone from Qantas. I booked a ticket with Air New Zealand (by talking to their checkin agent, who was able to connect me directly with a reservations agent via a direct line, which was something I was hoping Qantas would help me with at a bare minimum) and I was able to purchase a ticket for that Air NZ flight and continue on. I’m VERY disappointed in the way that I was treated and not provided with assistance in a timely manner. I would have almost missed that flight and have to miss out on pre-arranged travel plans losing out on an additional $2000 in tour / accommodation bookings.

Original direct flight from LAX to Sydney was delayed by almost 12 hours for "maintenance", so we were rerouted via SFO and Brisbane. 15 hours took 24

Cons: My seat got moved when I had pre-selected them. The power outlet between the seats didn't work so I couldn't use my CPAP. The earphones/jack would only have sound in 1 ear.

Pros: The Pilot

Cons: Flight was delayed by 2 hours. Had to get off the plane to get a visa. Delayed even more when we arrived in Australia. Didn’t have a gate ready when we landed. Lost my luggage in a flight to Brisbane.

Cons: I made the same flight last year on a newer plane. This time I missed having water bottles available at all times.

Cons: Flight was delayed 2 hr 30 min because of catering issues. Because of that only one hot meal for 14 hr flight. Diabetic food was the worst I ever had. My prepaid seat for extra $35 AUD wasn't available. The seat was uncomfortable and the pillow was huge - I had to put it on a floor. I am surprised why Qantas is rated #9 among best airlines for 2016. I will try to avoid Qantas in the gorier.

Pros: I liked the fact that there was a water refilling station so I could get water when I needed/wanted it. The people were friendly and there were lots of times when the lights remained off so that people could sleep. There weren't a lot of interruptions during the flight so people could rest or do what they wanted! I also like that Quantas is associated with American so I got a ton of miles!

Cons: My seat wouldn't stay upright so any movement made it go back, which was fine for resting but when eating or sitting up, I kept falling back. Luckily the person behind me was understanding.

Cons: 350 pound passenger placed next to us in window seat. Passenger took over 1/3 of my wife's seat. Flight was full, no effort made by crew to correct situation.
