Pros: "On time, nice crew."
Cons: "Free refreshments."
Cons: "Shorter travel tomsy"
Pros: "The crew was very friendly"
Cons: "The termianl could use an update"
Cons: "For budget airline it’s awesome. Couldn’t ask more"
Pros: "I was in row 2 and it had reclining seats."
Cons: "They did not have enough people to push wheelchairs at Mac Arthur airport. My husband had to push me & since we don’t know the airport we had to ask every step we went, they had no signs leading the way."
Pros: "There is a dispute going on about who cleans the planes and so the crew won’t help thereby placing the customer in the middle of the dispute. 45 minutes late because of this nonsense."
Cons: "Someone clean the damn plane and get the PAYING customers on their way."
Pros: "4 hour delay at Trenton airport"
Cons: "Customer service by Frontier at Trenton was horrendous. I never got a text or call or email about the delay. Wasted 5 hours of my day and took aaay one of the two nights my fiancé and I had to see it."
Pros: "The anouncements in Islip explaining the boarding process and warning people about bringing carry ons that they did not pay for were clear, loud and understandable. Crew was great."
Cons: "the seats hurt my butt, not sure if I could do a longer flight on this plane"
Cons: "do not charge for small bags, or if you charge, charge every one, not only some people"
Pros: "Patient flight attendants kept cool while PIA passengers were delaying departure by playing 'seat switching'."
Cons: "Everything. Really bad seats, no room for you. Carry on - charge $50. No free beverages ."
Pros: "On time, nice new plane. No complaints at all."
Pros: "Boarding, security lines and airport staff very helpful at TRenton Mercer Airport"
Cons: "No legroom on the flight, flight was delayed and passengers were not notified."
Pros: "Easy on, great flight, easy off. Love the non-stop flight to West Palm Beach. Friendly staff."
Cons: "Seats are crunched together - not easy to relax"
Pros: "They to entertain like the other airlines"
Cons: "Getting home safe"
Pros: "Flight was smooth and on time."
Cons: "Lady flight attendant had an attitude. She didn’t speak loudly and clearly and when folks didn’t respond she snarked at them. She didn’t give eye contact when speaking and so nobody knew who she was talking to. Who knows. Maybe she had a bad day."
Cons: "Apparently Frontier doesn’t have partnerships with a lot of airlines which meant I had to get my bags, tote them halfway across the country and check them with the airline my connecting flight was on. Since I had a torn ligament in my knee and the connecting flight was in a different terminal, plus having to pay the baggage fees a second time this was less than an acceptable solution for getting my luggage on to the next airplane."
Cons: "Not even a glass of water on a 2 hour flight?"
Pros: "First leg was delayed 2 hours with the notice coming out at 2am. Second leg was delayed 3 hours. So I travelled to LGA and bought an American flight that put me in Chicago at the right time. I am thankful that they told me about the delays so I could plan"
Cons: "The crew makes all announcements so quickly, that they cannot be understood. A little patience and enthusiasm goes a long way."
Cons: "Flight was overbooked so they asked people to give up seats. Because of the overbooking, we were delayed in leaving by about 30 mins."
Cons: "We came to Trenton airport a half hour before because had a problem with finding parking - and the staff would not come out to check us in or let us board the flight - staff and security were terribly rude to us!! We're highly educated competent young women and they treated us like dirt. Then they charged us $99 extra per person. We would have been better off flying jet blue. And we didn't check in because it was an extra $25 fee This is RIDICULOUS !"
Pros: "The actual flight is fine. The leg is just about 60 mins and the price of the fare is the most attractive portion. For $50 RT, there is not much to expect when you fly a discount carrier. What made the trip a bad experience was the return flight, where two consecutive flights were cancelled with no clear explanation to the reason (definitely not weather related). To reach my destination in time, a separate one-way ticket had to be purchased at an alternative near by airport. Frontier is certainly a low cost carrier, but not very reliable to Reach your destination"
Cons: "They cancelled, not arranged other options"
Pros: "Frontier is similar to other budget airlines like Spirit where only a personal item comes free and the seats are a little tighter than usual. I thought they had good communication around the fee for carry ons (in the boarding process, they directed people to go online and pay the fee there if they'd already to avoid a higher fee at boarding). Staff were friendly and for a short flight (<2 hours) I felt it was perfectly comfortable, and I'm very happy with my decision given that the flight was <$100 and direct."
Cons: "No free snack/drink Pay for carry on"
Pros: "Everybody was very friendly and the flight was quick!"
Pros: "Cost of flight, on time experience, location of stop."
Cons: "Horrible bag/checking process. It was impossible."
Pros: "Very smooth operation. Best flight ever"
Cons: "Not a thing"
Pros: "the jokes from the stewardess"
Cons: "extra charges for carry on, expensive to check bags"
Cons: "Technical difficulties that delayed the flight by almost an hour. Navigation system needed to be reprogrammed on the runway. It's a fine issue, but they didn't tell us what wad going on. We just got to sit there for 45+ minutea wondering. also, my bag was damaged when it arrived at my final destination."
Pros: "I loved that we left on time and boarding the plane was not a hassle and the crew was welcoming"
Pros: "Ease of getting there to the airport and check in with the counter receptionist. Machines were not working well."
Cons: "I wasn't pleased with taking my shoes off and walking on the nasty carpet."
Pros: "The flight attendants"
Cons: "The screaming kids and babies"
Pros: "Liked the ease of boarding."
Cons: "Felt like I was stuck in a sardine can. Very unpleasant amount of personal space. Shouldn't have to upgrade to a higher-end seat just to get enough room to breath comfortably!"
Pros: "Flight attendants were efficient, friendly and funny:) Captain was also funny and got us to ATL 30 minutes early!"
Cons: "I really don't like Airlines that nickle& dime the consumer and Frontier is one of these airlines. A good fare to start, but then you spend more at the end. In this case, I spend $108 + tax and fees more than if I would had gone with the competition. Life and learn. First time flying with Frontier and I will not say it would be the last, but this airlines had been but to the end of my list of choices for airlines."
Cons: "Adding to my original complaints in my review from TPA to TTN. I got to witness an employee at the gate conning a man into paying for an additional carry-on insisting his bookbag counted as a bag he had to pay for....excuse me...your website states that if the bag can fit under the seat, then it is not a carry-on that needs to be paid for. His bag could have easily fit under the seat and this employee took complete advantage of the fact he didn't know this. This airline makes me sick with the fact they have the need to nickle and dime every cent they can out of their passengers. Oh, and by the way you have to pay for in-flight beverages....that means the normal sodas/water/coffee you're used to getting as a complimentary drink are also a way for this airline to get a couple more pennies out of you. It's a good thing for this company that they understand exactly where they can take advantage of people who don't always fly, because if people knew about all of these things upfront, this airline would surely lose a lot of people. If you're going to try and be the "cheaper" more "affordable" airline then do so with honesty, hint the quotations I had to put on the words cheaper and affordable. Thanks, but no thanks, you've lost at least one customer here."
Pros: "Reaching Atlanta 10 minutes early"
Cons: "BluntNess in service."
Pros: "Not much more to say. It was a very early morning flight. Boarding was fast and smooth. The crew was competent, professional, and friendly. Left on time, arrived on time. All in all very nice trip. Leaving from TTN was an absolute PLEASURE especially when compared to EWR or even LGA. Will certainly do it again next time! Kudos to you Frontier!"
Pros: "Fast, efficient, clean regional carrier."
Cons: "I wish the seats reclined."
Pros: "Flight was early, crew were helpful and creative ve in delivering the same old safety messages. Seats were adequate and felt new. But $30 for an overhead bag?? $2.99 for a cup of coffee??"
Cons: "Ridiculous t charge so much for overhead bag and cup of coffee. Small seat space."
Pros: "The nonstop flight made it easy to get to Florida"
Cons: "Ala carted me to the same price as Delta. 1 carry on was $35 each way, to select my seat was another $27. As other have mentioned, you pay for any drinks. We had some rough skies that the plane didn't seem to like. Although I loved going out of a small airport, on the balance, I may go a more traditional route next time."
Cons: "My light didn't work so I had to switch seat to read. The crew did NOT come around to ask for drinks or snacks."
Pros: "Flight was rough due to weather but crew was very friendly and helpful unfortunately no snacks or drinks were able to be served. First time on Frontier and would definitely fly with them again."
Cons: "Flights were cancelled due to ice in Detroit which is understandable, but Frontier couldn't rebook my flight until three days later! I am much wiser now as I realize that only one flight per day in and out of Detroit can really have a negative impact on one's travel schedule. The money I spent over those 3 days far exceeded the ticket price of other carriers."
Pros: "Cheap and everything was fine"
Cons: "Make sure you don't bring carry on items and then get charged!"
