The online company I used for the reservation didn't get it to the hotel in a timely maner, and therefore check-in was delayed
Friendly staff, walking distance to Disneyland Room quality and cleanliness subpar, basic amenities (rollaway bed, pack and play, wifi beyond limited speed on one day) all required an additional charge. The appeal of the price, location, and attractive online photos quickly dissipated once arriving to our actual room. Better off paying a little more for a premium hotel in the area which ends up being around the same, since they won't nickel and dime you the entire stay.
Location was good. It was very close to the Disneyland shuttle. The restaurant was good, and the restaurant staff was friendly and helpful. I dropped money, I.d., and credit cards, and Jeffery found it for me. Thanks Jeffery!! The walls and ceiling were thin, and we got very little sleep. The staff was hit or miss with helpfulness and friendliness. It didn't strike me as that clean. I wouldn't stay there again.
My experience was unfortunately a very disappointing one. We checked into the hotel and upon walking into our room, discovered our remote control did not work. This was not a problem and I looked past this. The next morning I woke up to a foul smelling bathroom, the shower was filling up with septic water and spilling into our room. I spoke with maintenance and they said they would talk to the font desk about giving us a discount, especially after we paid a significant amount more for our second day there. When checking out, I was told by the front desk to wait to speak to a manager. I then proceeded to wait 15 minutes for said manager and finally lost my patience. I returned to the person at the front desk and they told me "Oh, you were waiting on a manager?", and then said I would have to wait for them longer because they were "helping another guest, OR busy with something else." I simply said thank you and walked away. I have never had such a negative experience at a hotel and would hope that they read this and improve their hospitality. It is such a disappointment for having such a great location and beautiful grounds.
My kids of course loved the pool It did say it was across the street from Disneyland but it was behind the park and was way to far of a walk for my grandfather just to get to entrance.
Location was spot on for Disneyland. I like it even better than the hotels on Harbor for this. Staff was friendly and room and facility were clean. They had a party in the restaurant but we were really pleased it wrapped up before 10 Room was really stale smelling and everything we have smells like that. Bed was really saggy and uncomfortable. broken stuff in the bathroom, Generally needs an update. We were also looking forward to a jacuzzi soak after our run but there wasn't one.
Location I like that was closed to Disneyland
The room was not clean. With hairs in the shower of previous guests and I found a cockroach inside the room
Everything was great Clean rooms, great staff, price was just right, even the food was good ........ unfortunately there was a couple smoking pot at the stairs and the smell went inside our room I don't care if they smoke but I think they shouldn't done were there's young children around....
Courteous, professional, friendly staff. Quiet rooms. Weak wi-fi in the back rooms (10208) section.
Room was cute, spacious, grounds are beautiful and location is prime. Shower pressure and temperature were fantastic. Room needs updating. While cute, every panel of the wallpaper is peeling off the walls. There was a makeshift cover for the fuse box that was falling off the walls with exposed screws. Windows opened to exterior building walls. There was only 1 nightstand by the bed, no conditioner, shower cap, or tea by the coffee pot. General condition of the furnishings were old and need to be replaced. They overcharged me for parking, normally $20/car/night, and couldn't figure out what the problem was after they had already charged my card on file. Parking is a nightmare and is small and cramped.
Proximity to work location Filthy room, mold, mildew and rot on most wood in room. Window facing major road in shower, thin walls, broken remote, old loud air conditioner, small black bugs under plastic cover on bed, overall unsanitary conditions and loud neighbors.
The location was fantastic as it's across the street to Disneyland California Adventure. The rooms have been maintained well or have been remodeled recently and include a decent sized mini-fridge. Free continental breakfast was nice to have. Parking was easy. Hot tea b and pool were nice and had a great view of nightly Disney fireworks. Overall it was a good value. The beds were substandard. They were like sleeping on a trampoline. The pillows were so thick and dense they were uncomfortable. But the comforters were thin, not much thicker than sheets. The hotel was very busy, and so the breakfast was a disaster to access and they were out of half of the items early. The elevator was out of order so I had to carry my heavy bags to the third floor. You can hear people walk past your room or talking outside the room.
Walking distance to enter the park via the Grand Californian Hotel and Downtown Disney. Good, basic hotel room to stay in close to the parks. Checked in at 11pm, walked all the way to the room with a tired wife and tired 4 year old. Room key did not work. Walked all the way back and the staff did not apologize at all. Just made a new key and said "you should be good." Small but infuriating detail. Breakfast time is a zoo.
Bed was comfortable Had to pay $10 a day to park and they didn'thave enough parking spots. The ACTUAL didn't cool the room. The complimentary breakfast was crowded ,place was dirty and the food was awful. Asking help with direction was pitiful
Bed was very comfortable and staff was friendly. Breakfast orange juice was very watery and they were out of forks.
Room was clean Separate shower and sink area a plus Included breakfast was awesome.
We stayed at this hotel while in town for Disneyland's Half Marathon Weekend. Overall, great value for the money, clean, and proximity to Disney Parks was especially convenient. The A/C unit is a bit loud, which makes it hard to sleep or hear your tv.
We arrived EARLY and they accommodated our early check in thanks to an empty room. The room itself was clean me organized. The sheets were fresh, the mattresses soft and supportive, but the bathroom was tiny and the rugs a little worn. We enjoyed the free breakfast, though the selection is rather limited. The staff was friendly and attentive, had answers for all my questions. Even the people staying alongside us were pleasant and non-disruptive. Having stayed in the other best western's around, this by far was the best experience. I honestly have no negative reviews.
Breakfast Price Location
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, check in and out was super easy. Stuff was super friendly. Love the free breakfast, it really helps you save money if you have a full breakfast you can last until a early dinner. Only a few min walk to park... Carpet was a little outdated.
Didn't like that we have to pay $10 a night for parking and the noise level was terrible
Crazy close to Disneyland, the staff was really nice and breakfast was fantastic. Had to pay 10$ a night for parking extra which was a surprise.
Friendly staff. Good value. Room was nice. Breakfast needs improvement. Ran out of forks and orange juice. Quite a long walk to Downtown Disney.
Traveled as a multi-generational family group. We greatly appreciated how soundproof this hotel is. Plenty of water pressure at the right temperature too. And enough elevators for minimal wait time. We could have used electrical outlets for cell phones at the bedside but this is a minor improvement suggestion.
I pretty much LOVED everything about the Disneyland Hotel ... The hype is true We didn't get a discount with our Annual Passes
overall the pools + the room were OK no breakfast, not enough characters plqying with kids unless you make it at Goofy's
Our room was great, and so was every cast member. I couldnt buy the throw pillow which was on each bed.
Love the themes and decor, and the perks that come with staying at a Disneyland resort hotel. The headboard that lights up and plays music (and serves as a great nightlight) is lovely. We had a room in the Adventure Tower facing Downtown Disney this time, and while we didn't care about the view (in this case, plants from the Adventure garden blocked pretty much anything we could see from the 2nd floor), what we didn't like was how loud the music was from Downtown Disney. We also learned that although we could only see a tiny amount of fireworks from Disneyland, we could hear all of them and they were pretty much as loud as they are when you're in the park. I'm still shocked that my kids slept through the music and fireworks that first night. On our third night, the older one was still awake when they started and used earplugs to get to sleep. The live music didn't stop until 10 pm even on weeknights, which meant we didn't get to enjoy the peace and quiet of the room (after being in the parks all day) until then. If you're not bothered by noise, it won't be a problem, but if you are, consider requesting a pool-view room.
Our stay was for our 30th wedding anniversary, and the hotel staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, & special. Although the prices seem a little high for most people, our stay was very enjoyable. We will be returning in the future. The only negatives to our trip were the Disneyland Railroad, Haunted Mansion, and River Boats were closed. Also, I was looking for a Disneyland Railroad Engineer hat, but was only able to find a Conductor's hat.. Lastly, there were no hats for the Disneyland Monorail.
Close to theme park with early entrance Very noisy, staff unappreciative of guests, staff non responsive to complaints, room service quality is mediocre.
The room was very nice and the view was amazing. No complaints, we got a great deal and would stay here again.
I stayed at the Paradise Pier Hotel several times. I love how roomy it is and very relaxing! I like the view from the rooms...one side you can watch World of Color with the television playing the sounds for the show! We stay with a family of four, there is a sofa that turns into a bed. The toiletries are very nice!!! If you stay at a Disney property, you can use the special entrance from the Grand Californian. The Surfside Lounge is a bar/ snack shop you can warm up food (there is a microwave!) and pick up utensils (fork, knife, spoon or condiments). I personally like the vending machines on the ground floor..it is in a room by itself! PCH Grill is great during breakfast and looks fun at dinner time too! I whole hearted recommend staying here with everybody!! Upper level soda machines take only credit cards. Wish there was more food eateries.
We loved our stay here. Our family can't wait to return! We loved the pools, the closeness to the park (our room over looked it!) and the on site character breakfast. Also loved the bunk beds for kids There is a Loud speaker in the park that they do announcements on. You could here that muffled early in AM or late at night from our room. Needs a new shower head.
The lobby was beautiful, the service was excellent, the location was perfect for visiting the parks and downtown Disney, and the room was big. While the room was large, it wasn't anything amazing for the price.
Close walk to Disneyland. Comfortable bed and room. Free parking for one car Nothing. Good experience
Walking distance to park, clean, comfortable bed, nice pool and spa, helpful staff No breakfast
Nice close walk to Disneyland. Very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable. Pool was great. No complaints.
Nice modern renovations. Big room. Microwave. Fridge. You could hear EVERYTHING above you. Not sure if it was a guest room or maids area above us where they stored things but was very hard to sleep with all the commotion. The rooms our friends slept in were oddly shaped and cramped and they could also hear a lot of noise above them. Very thin walls! Found a few hairs in the shower and on the bed when first checked in. Could be from the maids. Hopefully not from the previous people who stayed there. Not worth it, especially after the long walks home from the parks and then you cant sleep because of all the noise. No safe in room or breakfast place or sundry to buy waters.
Clean hotel. Walking distance to Disneyland. Would stay again. Be sure to get a second floor room, the floors are thin and you can hear everything from the room above you if you are on the first floor. It was bad enough that we switched rooms.
The eden roc exceeded my expectation, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. I booked this hotel last minute and while they are still under construction, the rooms were clean and had everything I needed for a good night's sleep. Would go back again. Construction
Kyak never sent my reservation to Eden rock. I was stuck in Anaheim on a holiday weekend and they said they couldn't find me a room. Not a fan. Still waiting for my refund.
This place was very clean and the staff was very nice.
Close to Disneyland but not walking distance. They lied or were at very minimum were less then truthful about having a pool and a free breakfast.
Very modern decor. Newly remodeled. Clean. Curtains fully block out sunlight for late sleepers. Location near Disney Resort is perfect! I would definitely stay there again but I'm guessing once the construction is finished the prices are going to skyrocket. Currently under construction which is why the rates are so cheap. No phone in room (due to construction) Pool wasn't open (due to construction)
Close to Disneyland you can either take the ART or get a taxi which we did and found it was easier and cheaper. The rooms are newly remodeled, so it's very clean, the parking lot is under construction and parking is limited. The only complaint was the maid left our door open and we when returned the door was open ajar and light was on, thankfully nothing was taken but wasn't happy about that.
I stayed at this hotel 3 years ago because of the location. Came back again for the same reason and I enjoyed their newly renovated hotel rooms. It was very clean and I highly recommend this place!
Very clean and comfortable room, walking distance to everthing we needed. Great, friendly staff.
Room was newly renovated, clean and very spacious No breakfast offered. Looks like they have the facilities and offered it up at one point but now it is empty unused space.
Our room was sleek and modern, just like in the pictures. I didn't mind the construction in the lobby, or throughout both parking lots. As read on other reviews, there was no phone connected yet BUT they have now updated the TVs with more than two channels! :) I am more than statisfied with my stay, considering the awesome price and the newly renovated rooms. It is also a very close walk to Disneyland if you cut through the backside of the Grand Californian. LOCATION PERFECTION! Yes, I was skeptical about staying here after reading all the negative reviews, but Eden Roc is now going to be one of my top choices. With free parking, clean "wood" floors, and a friendly staff, every penny was completely worth it. The beds and upstairs floors were noisy (I had a ground floor room), but I was expecting it. Also, the office entrance is located in the further parking lot.
The room was good sized and clean. Good space around the sink. The staff was very helpful. Great location. Controlling the water temperature in the shower was a challenge. Need to get flat screen TVs Very small microwave
After reading reviews I was scared, but the room was clean and we had no issues. The front desk staff let me park there in the morning before checkin so we didn't have to park at Disneyland. 10 minute walk to the park entrance if you go through downs town Disney. Overall, great value!
Proximity to Disneyland was a huge plus, the walk to Downtown Disney was only about 12 minutes or so, no crowded shuttle rides with screaming childten required The facilities are pretty bare and minimal, I would not suggest staying here with a large family and/or children
Rooms are clean, floors are hardwood-so no icky carpets to worry about. walking distance to Disneyland park There was no "do not disturb" sign in our room, so we asked for one..put in on the door the next day and housekeeping came in anyways while we were gone. Then our sign was gone again...
The room was spacious and clean for the price. We don't stay in the room very much so it works for my family. The comforters had a few stains but other than that it was good Look for weekdays that is the best time to get this hotel for the best price.
Super close to Disneyland, pretty, and clean There was a little critter in the room that should not have been there, otherwise great place!
There were clean towels and clean flooring instead of carpet. I loved that it was so close to Disneyland because we were tired after a long day of fun at the parks. The hot water ran out after the first person showered. The tissue box was empty and the tub was not functioning.
Love the patio. Like that it had chairs to seat in. It felt very much comfortable like a house. It didn't have coffee pot in the room or alarm clock . And the TV didn't move so you can watch TV in bed. And the parking was not good.
Alamo is a great choice for Disneyland goers on a budget. The room was decent and the beds were pretty comfortable. Sheets were clean. I must say that the shower in our room was hard to use. Not sure if the controls were stripped or its just inferior engineering. It was hard to adjust to get hot water. To the point where I avoided using it. wi-fi didn't work.
We pulled in late around 11 pm. It was a full courtyard. It was a quick check in and walk to our room. Lots of rooms had doors open and people having small parties outside their rooms. Our room wasn't too close to them so we couldn't hear any noise but I don't know about any rooms next to them. It was clean and small and good if you just need a place to crash for the night.
Great customer service. N/A
Close to Parks 5 minute walk. Beds were comfy and staff was professional and courteous. No complaints
Extremely close and easy walk to the Disneyland Monorail, Close to Downtown Disney, Convenience store across the street, Fridge in room, Shitty but free breakfast, Something Something 200 character minimum The shower was designed for ants, The cable was unamplified (Poor picture and bitstream dropouts), Room keys were deactivated after first night and front desk was left unattended for at least 15 min, had to encounter another guest who removed my feeling of safety and made me worry for the life of the Bellboy
The location was the main reason for our stay. 15 min walk to Disneyland. It was relatively clean. Manager was helpful. Our room was cleaned when we got back for our second night. Heater never got warm no matter how long it was on for. On the second night the people next door were loud and disturbing.
great location if you go to disny very poor room. no mirors ( so no shaving) , problem with the toalet, problem with the lights; very very poor breakfast (coffe no cream, no milk)
Budget hotel but very clean and comfortable, excellent for pool and jacuzzi and only a 5 min walk from Disney, fantastic value for money. Breakfast could have been better but still nice to get a cup of tea and a croissant in the morning.
Great location, just a short walk through a parking lot to the Disneyland Hotel & Downtown Disney. Much quieter part of Katella Ave. than near Harbour Blvd. Lots of TV channels. Solid value for price paid Bit skimpy on the towels & amenities. Parking gets a bit tight in evening.
Good value for money, they say near main gate but about a 20 minute walk. Room spacious and basic, clean, beds comfy. Hot tub a treat after a day in Disneyland to relieve aching backs and feet
The hotel was kind of close to the Disney parks, but the daily cost to park at Disney is not much. The room was dirty. We found trash under the bed, and an old pair of glasses. We had to ask for more bath towels both nights and no staff was around in the evenings to assist.
the location was right across from Disneyland Park so it was really accessible. no need to pay extra parking fees. I just did not like the fact that the wash area was not enclosed & wasn't included in the bathroom. If you had other people with you (not immediate family), there is no privacy when washing your face, brushing teeth or even doing your make-up.
It's very close to the park and the walk was easy. The breakfast was a little lacking.
The room was dirty Had to bang on tv to get it to work only 3 towels were given Looked like they were remodeling but didn't finish. It's a good place to sleep and go
The guy at the front desk was very acomodating, giving us a two bed room even thought we only pay for what we had reservesd.1 King bed It offers breakfast included but the breakfast was a danish and coffe in the front desk(not cool)
The bed was very, very comfortable. After a long day at Disneyland, it was perfect to relax and sleep through the night. The close proximity to Disneyland was a bonus, too. We were able to walk to there and save a lot on parking. Besides the mattress and the location, the room was very cheap. The knobs on the heater/AC didn't work well and there was still a drink in the fridge from the previous guests, which was kind of gross. The internet was so bad that I couldn't load anything, not even my email. The breakfast was just cereal, a few croissants and danishes, orange juice, milk, and coffee. In comparison with other hotels in the area, it's a lower price, but you get what you pay for.
Room was garbage. I would not recommend this place to anyone The cleanliness of the room
The location, walking distance to Disneyland and close to Angels Stadium.
NOTHING TO LIKE ABOUT THIS PLACE. BUGS..SMELLED..RUDE STAFF. There were so many roaches we slept with the lights on. We complained and they did nothing. I would never stay here or recommend anyone ever stay here.
It's basic, but comfortable. Get an upstairs room if you can; they are pretty nice. Not the most organized experience--not enough parking and a little disorder at checkin.
