Cons: location. won't rent again from dollar. did not realize dollar was 2 miles from airprt. if I had known that ,I would have rented from someone else. also I was originally told I would have to pay,a dropoff fee for dropping it before the office opened at 8. this didn't make sense and was ultimately waived.

Cons: Service was slow. My departure flight was early, before office opened. Told to leave car in short term parking, but was not told there was a $35 charge for this! Was told I could pre-pay my gas for $2.05 a gallon, was not told they would charge for a full tank no matter how much gas was in tank. ($40) No I would not rent again from them!

Cons: No electric door or window openers. Didn't know they even still mad cars like that.

Cons: The interior smelled like vomit. Joanne entered beginning mileage wrong.

Cons: We have full auto insurance on our regular vehicle.

Cons: Didn't rent, wanted a $200 deposit that I wouldn't get back for a week with for a one day rental at $32. Not worth it, went to Avis.

Cons: Off airport, finding the location is made more difficult by the Dollar signage being small and obscured by the building when coming from the west. Very busy road so easy to drive by, which we did twice.

Cons: Due to a flight delay we arrived late in Ashville and discovered the "off site" location for the car rental was closed. This created a major problem and it took over an hour to make special arrangements with Hertz to get a car. Overall it was a terrible experience. The only consolation was that the car was an upgrade to what I had reserved for almost the same price.

Cons: There were no signs indicating where to leave the car. There were signs for every other rental company, but none for Thrifty.

Cons: Two seat belts were broken and I was told there was a fee to drop off at another location. I was called to drop off at another location which caused confusion because never got an answer until I called the person back again. Van was very nasty on the inside when I picked up and I had to vacuum van out.

Cons: It turned that I paid twice as much as I was originally quoted. Take note future Kayak users! This is the first time that I used Kayak and Thrifty..will never ever use this service and car rental again!!!

Cons: Service attendant.She was really crabby. My car wasn't cleaned. No wind shield wash. Was charged $about 49.I drove it less than 50 miles.Was charged $14 for gas to refill it. Needle hadn't moved.couldnt drop it off at airport. Staff in Greer S.C. Awesome when I returned it( was picked up in N.C.) shuttle to airport was great

Cons: The first employee i dealt with was VERY rude/ Second one rang my return time in wrong, then charged me later for it.

Cons: Took 30+ minutes for the van to pick us up at the Asheville airport. Checkin counters had 1 computer working. People waiting a long time to get car. Expected a regular car, got a Ram Hemi 4 door pickup- just for me.

Cons: There was a fee for being driven to the rental office. I don't remember seeing that charge online and wasn't happy about it. I think a cab would have been cheaper. It was a $10 charge. It wasn't the small car I had reserved, got an upgrade to a suv which made things more difficult getting in and out.

Cons: Location hard to find, not at airport, no signage on street or building - just faded, worn off Hertz sign; understaffed, nice staff but not focused; received a dirty car (mud on floor, dirt on seats, dirty all over outside) inside and out and was asked to accept it had to wait additional 30 minutes for staff to take car offsite to be washed. Car had been smoked in and sprayed with smoke 'cover-up' which made all who entered car smell; car ran mostly fine but strained on the highway with engine running high rpm; tried to scare into buying insurance.

Cons: I could have has an uber from greenville for half the price. Very disappointed by the exorbitant price. Nothing "budget" about it.

Cons: I didn't like not having an agent when I returned the car.

Cons: The cars are stored outside, and had ice on the windshield so I couldn't leave very quickly. Would have been great if that was already taken care of before I arrived so I could head to my flight in Charlotte without the lag time. The attendant did help me chip the ice off once I went back inside and asked for some help (the defroster wasn't making much of a difference). Was a higher price than I typically pay for an economy car.

Cons: Despite having personal car insurance AND buying additional insurance at the time of making the reservation, budget personnel insisted I wouldn't be covered unless I bought their insurance so cost of rental almost doubled. Never will rent from them again.

Cons: Car had a "wobble" noise from one of the wheels

Cons: The pickup took forever. The employee was new and no one was there to help him. He made mistakes. The car was under someone else's name when I went to drop it off. The drop off also took forever.

Cons: I had to wait at AVL while a car was received in and then the car had not been cleaned while also being two classes. Slow the one I ordered. In ATL at turn in. Slow response and confusion in prioritizatikn process which delayed my departure. Also unable to provide me a receipt at turn in.

Cons: A little trouble with processing paper work and billing. Staff very pleasant and helpful

Cons: Even though we reserved our rental a long time in advance, the car we requested was not available. In fact, NO cars were available. Only trucks. And we were treated like something was wrong with us for nor accepting a truck for our vacation travel to Florida. Needless to say we did not rent a truck! We expect better from any car rental company, let alone Hertz.

Cons: The left front and back right both had slow air leaks. I added air 6 times during my trip. The car had an exhaust leak that affected the cabin. I had to drive with the windows open. The fumes got worse when the air conditioning was runnins.

Cons: I thought it was pricey compared to other reservations I've made before, and when I dropped the car off the attendant seemed to be surprised that I was dropping off a car (as if a miscommunication had happened).

Cons: Drop-off location not well marked. More or larger signage would help.

Cons: I didn't like paying 120$ more than what kayak quoted me upon picking up my vehicle.
