The ease of drop-off and pick-up in Cinci was great with an online booking. The agent there helped advise me on the right size car with good fuel efficiency for my long road trip. The car was just what I needed except for the overpowering fragrance from cleaning? Previous renter?Cons:
The AC broke an hour and a half into the trip. The St Louis airport was the only location that had a replacement on a Sunday. This location was understaffed, had long lines, lacked clarity among employees about protocol for exchanging cars. Our experience there put us back 3 hrs on our drive.2.0 Poor

Cons:
I was notified up front that I was receiving a 40 dollar discount because of the condition of the van. I was told that the mgr had spent the last hour trying to get it clean. The van was a mess. It had a terrible odor (fecal like). The sliding door didn't work. I was told by the mgr that a seat belt was caught in it. The door had to be opened from the inside, and even that was difficult. I asked for a different van, I was told that was the only one available.Avis

Pros:
Getting the car was a breeze. I showed up, was asked a few questions, we went out and looked at the car, went back in and completed everything in under 10 minutes before I was on the road. Kia Sportage was a great car on the road, especially with unlimited miles. The car had clean interior. External was muddy, but they ware doing construction on the road leading into it. I was told if I wanted to take it to a car wash that they would pay for it, which was nice of them. Return was just as flawless. Thanks to Kayak, I got this vehicle for $363.80 for 10 days.8.0 Very good
