pre-Thanksgiving, there were only 2 people at counter to take care of more than usual renters. It took 2 hours to get to the counter. It was OK from there. It was a frustrating wait time, all other car rental counters were moving much better than Dollar!

Friendly staff & low prices would make me rent from them again. I also like that you don’t have to fill up the gas tank when you’re returning it. Especially during those early morning hours. Tony T.

Can’t we pre-register so we don’t have to wait for 1.5 hours in a line to get the car??!?!! How come the rental agencies can’t do better. Wasn’t worth the discount to stand in that line.

The pick up line was over two hours long and I had to go to another car company; they still charged me for the entire rental and wouldn’t budge.

The line at SFO airport was over 2 hours to pick up the car. Upon drop-off there was nobody to review the car and to give me a receipt. Until 12 hours after car return I did not still receive a receipt. I would choose this company again only if the price difference makes sense.

Waited 2 hours to pick up vehicle, counter staff was ridiculously slow and moved like turtles. Never in my life have I had to wait for 2 hours in a line to pick up a rental car. then on top of it, the counter person was rude, did not explain about the toll charges clearly and just very unprofessional. Will never use Dollar Rent a Car again.

disappointed that i wasn't able to input my dollar express number in making the reservation. i believe i have to book thru the company site itself, which will make it less likely for me to use kayak again.

I waited in line for an hour and 40 minutes to actually get the car. Completely unacceptable that there were only 2 agents working when they obviously knew that there were 40-50 people in line waiting to pick up their cars.

They could have let us know immediately that no cars were available, instead of making us wait in line for 1h30 and internationally not letting us know the status and processing each case as slowly as possible. Very dishonest and unprofessional, I will never use Dollar again. I should ask for damages! Alice Levitt

Line at counter was >45mins. To add insult to injury, folks were being told that the car they reserved was not available and they needed to wait another 45mins. Upon seeing this pattern, I booked a car at another company that had vehicles on my phone and got out of line. I was not going to make my wife and 9 mo. old baby sit in a crowded rental car center for an hour plus when we had 2 hour drive already ahead of us.
