Cons: The original invoice the customer service woman gave me was over twice my quote from Kayak. Then her boss came out to fix it and said "This happens when you book through third party sites" and acted like it was a big hassle to fix my issue.
They did not provide clear instructions about the rental return process.

Pros: Great price for the 12 days we rented the car. I only wish we could have gotten a car that was a little roomier for the driver. My husband is very large and needed a little more room between the steering wheel and his body. Overall it was a great value for us.

I couldn't even rent the car
Pros: I was told that the car rental insurance had to be under my personal insurance plan, not the one I paid got when I reserved the car. Then I was told I had to meet a certain credit score criteria, and if it was too low I would be unqualified from renting the car. Also, I had to fill out a form with a lot of personal information as if I was applying for a credit card. Asked me for my social, employment, living situation, etc.
Cons: The whole situation didn't seem right to me so I'm glad I ended up not paying for this.

Pros: They called to confirm so glad they did this is how I found out that the car was in a different location than the airport for pick up. Their pick up and drop off was unbelievable fast.
Cons: I thought I made reservations for pick up at the airport. I had to make last minute changes to the pick up location. I think I was mislead by the booking agent not Hertz

DO NOT RENT FROM HERTZ!
Cons: They did not honor my valid reservation, they did not rent me a car. They would not honor your price. I was told no cars were available when there were cars in the lot. It had nothing to do with me, they didn't want to honor your price.

Pros: Friendliness of the people who worked with us at the pickup location
Cons: Did not realize that this was not a location at or close to the airport. There was no shuttle service, so we had to find a way to get to and from ourselves.
Pros: Rented an SUV for a family vacation. Excellent car, very clean, staff was excellent as always!

Cons: The car was given to me very dirty. When I called to submit a dispute, I never received a follow up. When I returned the car, the person was not even aware of what happened ans didnt even do anything to hear my complain. He just sent me to an office so I can complain. It was not about complaining but the perception that is given to customers about not cleaning their main products

Terrible customer service
Cons: People at the counter were very rude and disrespectful. Originally told me I could use a debit card on file. Then that was denied once I arrived and tried to. Then swipe my credit card over and over saying it wouldn't read. Which locked the card out. I never got my rental. The attendants at the counter told me my brother could come out his credit card on file and use my reservation and I pay an additional 13.99 a day. Which I was fine with. Once my brother got there they said that they never said he could use my reservation and tried to charge double. I will never use Avis again

Great service and price!
Pros: Friendly service and nice car. Price was very reasonable.
Pros: I thought the rental pick up/drop off was at the Airport. Staff at airport Budget was very rude. We took a cab to the correct location and could not be happier. Staff member was a delight, the car was ready, we checked in in minutes. Drop off was a breeze, just needed to Uber to the airport.
