Cons: Telephone service, needs work. Customer support is obviously farmed out overseas and if the problem isn't in their book they simply keep repeating what's in front of them. In 4 attempts over 3 hours no one at the rental desk in the airport (ELP) ever answered the phone.

Cons: Dropping off in El Paso was easy & efficient but picking up another car 4 days later was a nightmare. Took over 40 min just at the desk (there were 2 people ahead of me). Once we were in the parking lot to pick up the car, there was only one person working outside, but he was too busy on a personal call to help us. When he finally came over to tell us which car we could take, he didn't get off the phone, & just said, you can take that one, & went back into his booth, still on his cell phone, while we waited for him to let us out at the exit, which he walked to a couple minutes later, still on his phone. We were the only ones there! The car didn't have any windshield wiper fluid & the remote didn't work. My card was charged 2 separate amounts that didn't add up to the total on my receipt, it was for almost $30 more, & after being reimbursed for some of the inconveniences, the second amount is still on hold almost 2 weeks later & when I call Alamo, I keep getting different answers as to why, including, we don't show anything on hold, we show the transaction complete & there's nothing they can do except wait a few weeks & see if that amount is still on hold. DONT EVER RENT A CAR from the EL PASO LOCATION!

Cons: I used the car exactly 24 hours but since the drop off city has an hour ahead in the time they charged me $38 additional to my bill. I paid because of my rush to take my flight but I don't think this is correct.

Cons: Cost of rental was higher than preferred but lower than competitors.

Cons: I don't have much to complain about, other than to say it was not the cheapest rental car experience I have had.

Cons: I suggest getting a check through before accepting a vehicle. There was no problem with the staff or facility, but the customers that returned the vehicle I rented had left something rotten in the vehicle and I should have had a check through before I accepted it. It was my fault entirely and no fault of the company.

Cons: The 2017 Chevy Impala was a very nice car with two exceptions. 1. The visibility on the side windows and through the rear window is less then preferable. We had to be extra careful to look 2-3 times to be sure no car was there. 2. The radio connection to my iPhone was complicated and not intuitive. Could not switch easily between the radio and iPhone without having to reset the iPhone.

Cons: I didn't realize cars no longer have CD players, and I had brought CDs to play. I'll know for next time.

Cons: Arrived and there was no cars available after I made my reservation. Advised me to call in later and see if they could get me a car and that there was no guarantee they could give me the same pricing I booked online. Instead of asking for my phone number and name, they just handed me a post it with their phone number. Unproffesional, Kayak.

Cons: Make the experience better for people who are spending hundreds of dollars to rent use Kayak and the rental car companies.

Cons: I had to wait for about 5 minutes at the exit gate after I picked the rental car since there was nobody at the exit gate kiosk. But Noah was friendly and courteous as well. I was the only one in the garage so it would’ve been nice to have one of the workers anticipating me going to the exit gate.

Cons: The clerk filed a damage report that already exists in the vehicle. I asked why it is being reported & all I got was a I do not know answer. Clearly the clerk, lacks professional experience.

Cons: Pick up in the garage seemed under-staffed. Once leaving the desk in the terminal there was only one staff person in the garage and he only was there to service Avis Plus customers. The gentleman at the garage exit was the most helpful and personable individual we worked with.

Cons: I was HIGHLY unsatisfied with the customer service I recieved. The car gave me a warning light during my drive I called to notify the office and they assured me it was probably something minor. So I continued on with my Anniversary trip... later I smelled something burning and now I had two warning lights on..so I preceded to the closet budget to see if I could exchange the car... they informed me my car had to be exchanged at the airport, so I went there. I was informed at the airport that they could NOT accept the car even if it was having problems... they did not resolve my issue AND DID NOT assist me In how to resolve the issue they basically sent me on my way and said that hopefully I'll make it back to my original office... The problem I had took a ALMOST a day to run around trying to figure things out and RUINED my spouse and I anniversary... at the end of the trip I turned in the car and even after all the headache I was not even compensated or even apologized to for the issues... HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Cons: It took two people ten minutes to check me out (not including actual car pickup). During that time, I saw another person in line leave out of frustration. The car they rented me did not have a remote key, even though it should have had one. Only one door lock on the whole car. Had to lock the doors before closing, and I accidentally locked the key in the trunk once, which required me to call AAA. I'm positive they charged someone else that expensive key replacement fee in the past, and never got a new key.

Cons: Advantage charged more than the full rate to add unlimited mileage. More than doubling the fee I was previously charged and that was supposed to be prepaid.

Cons: I had to wait almost 2 hours for my car after 10+ hours flying. The person in the counter said that I reserved the car that very same day they didn’t have time to get the car and he offered another a lot more expensive car. Other than that he could not do anything for me.

Cons: Had booked an economy car. Got to the counter, said they didnt have it, offered another level up for $20 per day more. What's the point of booking online. At least there were other rental companies there to provide what I was looking for.

Cons: The fact that I got a credit card bill for over a hundred dollars more than what I had signed for at the time of the pickup. If I had not checked I could have been stiffed with the a rate almost equivalent to a plane ticket. Had to call and was told the computer system overcharged.
