Rental was cancelled 24 hours prior to pickup and we had to scramble to find alternative method to make the three hour journey to SeaTac airport. Very inconvenient, stressful and, well, just wrong!!! Not sure I will be booking with kayak when the third party agent cancels at the last moment!Reviewed Oct 15 2025

Store closed and we were stranded with our baby. We tried calling 2-3 in advance to move reservation to earlier I fear that flight might be delayed and hertz rep said they could not update for me. I tried kayak reps and line kept dropping and could not connect with a rep until the day of when the store closed and I chose the emergency option . Very disappointed, Hertz cancelled my order five hours before I should pick up the car, it’s broke my plans, I lost money as a result. The car was booked four days ahead.Reviewed Oct 4 2025
