Great experience, staff was very helpful. The rooms could have been cleaner but other than that it was a great deal. The trolley being so close to the hotel was another great benefit.

Cons (-) Holiday Inn tried to double charge me for the room I was staying in. I was on the phone over 2 hours on our last day trying to straighten it out. It was definitely not how I wanted to spend my last bit of time in New Orleans. The Holiday Inn staff should have been the ones to fix the issue since it was something between themselves and their distributor.

Cons (-) No Valet, No ice on floor we stayed on, dirty, uncomfortable bed, unfriendly desk staff, no doorman, no security, no restaurant, a/c didn't work correctly, noisy. I will not go back and I will spread the word that the new owners don't understand customer service. Still charging the same amount as if it were still a boutique hotel...more like motel

Pros (+) Good location, polite staff, Funky decor, clean linens and towels (no stains), good breakfast but it starts at 7, We'd stay there again
Cons (-) Our bathroom faucet was wacky and wouldn't turn off. The entry light didn't work. The room was small (which we knew) and dinged up.

Pros (+) Right down town. Only a 4 minute streetcar ride or 10 minutes walk to canal/bourbon St. Pretty safe area. Staff was super friendly and the restaurant at the hotel was 5 Stars.
Cons (-) Very very very very small rooms but for the price it's fantastic. Layout if the hotel is a bit odd as well.

Pros (+) I love the staff. Everyone was very friendly. Jasmine and Dujuon are the very best! Hope to see them on a future stay. Breakfast was great and I enjoyed the pool. I also liked that there was a washer and dryer.
Cons (-) I didn't like how firm the beds are. The detergent to wash my clothes were expensive.
