Pros: EverythingRead more about Delta
Cons: Seat power charger didn’t work
Pros: The seats are not fabulous the crew was
Cons: They did a good job keeping us informed When we got really delayed
Cons: The boarding crew wasn’t friendly
Pros: Got here early!
Cons: Announcements were too loud in earphones (could damage ear drums) and entertainment was turned off while waiting 30 min for the gate to open.
Pros: They were friendly and prompt, joked with us as they worked. The flight was smooth and on time
Cons: Delta delayed the flight from LAX to SLC, which subsequently made me miss the connecting flight from SLC to ORD. Completely unacceptable
Pros: Getting to my destination.
Cons: Leg room, more room for carry on bags, coats, etc.
Pros: Friendly crew
Cons: seats were broken, armrest broken
Cons: I was placed on an earlier flight as soon as I arrived at the Portland airport. The flight was full, there was no room for my bag in the overhead bins. The bag was checked, not to just Seattle but all the way to Venice. Well, surprise, surprise, the bag was lost on the way to Venice. KLM does not allow enough time in Amsterdam for luggage to make a connecting flight.
Pros: Excellent support from all the Delta associaties
Cons: The flight was delayed over 5 hours.
Pros: Food, service and entertainment
Cons: Entry into the aircraft was a bit chaotic
Pros: Breakfast was quite good, rest of the food was maximum average like on the other Delta flights I flew on this travel.
Cons: The seats in business class are horrible in flat bed mode. The crew did not pay much attention, was quite bored, not well organized, service was less than average. They forgot the coffee for breakfast although they had only to care for 8 people.
Cons: It was smelly. Anyone who does not smoke can smell old smoke. Yuk. Also, smells like a neighboring passenger has bowel issues. Ick
Cons: Left 30 minutes late from SLC.
Pros: Nice plane, comfortable accommodations, great crew.
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like.
Pros: How nice and gentle they were.
Cons: Long waiting lines.
Cons: The monitors kept on freezing
Pros: I had the opportunity to send my carry on to the final destination. The flight was overbooked and there was no place to put carry on on the top place.
Cons: I did not have the chance to choose my seat. I traveled sandwiched by two overweighted guys. I was holding my arms and was literally compressed by the gentlemen. Horrible experience. If I had the chance to choose my seat I would pick the corridor, and had a little less embarrassment and sweating.
Pros: Friendly service
Cons: The booking was done through vayama and the confirmation numbers didn't match with delta's. It was confusing. I had to talk to a delta rep and give her the eticket # and at that point, she gave me a new confirmation #, that I was able to use to check in with on delta
Pros: Easy boarding, Love to the sad that you were not nickeled and dimed while in flight they provided wonderful food and snacks. The crew so friendly and very hard working constantly there to please the passengers also having Free movies made the 5 and a 1/2 hour flight go very quickly. I fly across country frequently I will always fly Delta.
Cons: Due to the earthquakes, the film festival I was going to was cancelled. Ten days prior to the flight I called AeroMexico to cancel and they said there would be a cancellation penalty, which was fine. When I tried to redeem my credit, they said there was also an additional "No-show fee" even though I called to cancel 10 days prior, which left a total of $70 credit after all their penalties. I called and emailed to complain but they did nothing but pass me to someone else who was equally unhelpful. I will never fly AeroMexico for any reason in the future.
Pros: Kenyatta Cheatham, our flight attendant was absolutely delightful! She made my flight enjoyable with her beautiful smile. She clearly loves her job!
Pros: I liked the fact that the flight left on time and landed ahead of schedule.
Cons: The flight was rough. The coffee was horrible though.
Pros: Smooth and easy.
Cons: Not applicable
Pros: It was a good flight
Pros: For a short flight, they gave it drinks and snacks.
Pros: the service in general very nice
Pros: Crew was courtesy
Cons: 1hour delay from departing LAX runway - not good
Pros: I could be wrong, but the seats were very comfortable (for a plane) and I felt my knees weren't as close to the seat in front of me than other airlines. So that's a plus.
Pros: Flight was delayed for over 6 hours. Not an ideal way to spend the day.
Pros: On time
Pros: Flight attendant had nice attitude.
Cons: I asked for an aisle seat to provide relief to my right leg. I was given an aisle on my left. This was compounded by sitting next to a man so large that part of my space was taken, and this was Delta Comfort. Had I been given the requested seat, I would not have the sore neck and back I now have from leaning for 2 hours.
Pros: Quick, efficient boarding. Good crew. Comfortable seats. On schedule.
Cons: 3 hours there before the departure.
Pros: I had a guy offer me his window seat. Nice guy. It was only 2 hrs. We arrived on time. Pretzels and drinks.
Cons: No entertainment.
Cons: The Atlanta Airport is Insane for the handicapped. Try to get through the airport with 1. Your own scooter, 2. How to get into and back out of the elevators and trains and 3. The 1000s of people to make your flight in an hour at this unfamiliar airport Now try to do that when your wife also has to get around with her scooter and try to stay together. Then if your flight gets moved to another gate...and you have 10 minutes to do ALL this again... Never mind the bathrooms while one of us watches the scooters while the other uses the facilities and this is Impossible. Never mind the narrowness of the elevators. STRONGLY SUGGEST AN AIRLINE EMPLOYEE TRIES TO SEE THE PROBLEMS FIRST HAND with a scooter, THEN RECOMMEND FIXES. And don't get me started on the restarants with tables too close together if you use a scooter. Toronto airport is better as a comparison. Alton and Mary Cason
Cons: No fruit and cheese available to purchase one the flight. Need more than cookies
Pros: Very smooth
Pros: We barely got on the flight.
Cons: The boarding "red shirt" saved us. We are a band on tour and thanks to her we made the gig
Cons: It's just a really small plane so the comfort isn't great but only a half hour flight
Pros: Food was good, I had the fruit & cheese plate. Very good. I had a wheelchair so she took me directly to the doorway of the plane. Very nice young lady from West Africa. Nice selection of recent movie releases.
Cons: My seat would not recline. Uncomfortable for such a long flight.
Pros: Our stewardess in the economy cabin was probably one of the best we have ever encountered. She was very courteous and personable.
Pros: Our flight was cancelled and we had to buy $447 worth of Southwest tickets to get home. Our luggage is still missing, by the way.
Pros: crew was great, comfortable seats, in flight entertainment was great
Cons: We boarded the plane to learn the pilot wasn't there, or even at the airport. Sat on the plane at the gate for nearly 2 hours while the pilot traveled from home to the airport.
Pros: Delayed by 55 minutes in 10 or 20 minute increments as they waited for a crew.
Pros: Comfortable-love the 2 seats!
Cons: No complaints
Cons: We had frequent changes on our date flight, we also for paid 3 bags and on Aeroméxico’s site it appeared that we only paid for one of them, and lastly on the flight from Colombia to Mexico, one of our bags was opened without our supervision and there were several things stolen from it, the agent that we talked to about the inconvenience, her response was that the authorities could open and revise our bags without our supervision.
Pros: Crew was good, food was good.
Cons: The entertainment, I saw the Wifi stuff when I bought the ticket, but there was no internet connection there. Besides, no movies, no screen... boring.
Pros: The crew!
Cons: Only not being able to teleport!
Pros: Guaranty the flight and not tell you that the plane is full and you can flight until the next day
Pros: Crew were very kind. Seat space from BOG-MEX not so good
Cons: Food could be a little better.
Pros: Everything was perfect.
Pros: The flight left right on time and even arrived 15 minutes earlier than scheduled to Vancouver. Crew were all friendly.
Cons: Food was okay but could have been better.
Pros: Departure and arrival times were accurate.
Cons: There were a few seats (mine included) who didn’t have a blanket. The AC was set to a VERY low temperature.
Pros: Crew members are great and always willing to help
Cons: Seats could be more comfortable
Cons: The seats were the most uncomfortable seats I have ever sat on for a flight. Definitely needs improvement for a better flight experience.
Pros: Crew was good
Cons: Had a 2 hour delay
Pros: i coul not take the flight becuase this agency changed all my itinerary
Cons: So late all the time
Pros: The service on the plane is ok.
Cons: On the trip Mex to Bogota, the airplane belated to landed, around four hours after. First it was almost landed to Bogota, we were on El Dorado airport and then back to the air and then going to Medellin airport for landed. So they keeped us inside the airplane (I do not how many time, but maybe 1 an half hour inside) and then back to Bogota for landed. So it was awful and worried time.
Pros: I loved the attention of all the staff of aeromexico very friendly and helpful I am happy to have traveled with Aeromexico
Pros: Almost everything was perfect!
Cons: The flight attendants offered an OK service to me, I don’t give them 5 stars only because I noticed they were unfriendly and a bit rude to other passengers.
Pros: Everything went smoothly except for the sprint to catch the flight out of Guadalajara to Mexico City. That connection was a little tight. The Aeromexico staff were helpful and friendly both on the ground and in the air.
Cons: The sprint I had to run to catch the flight.
Pros: I was pretty happy with the legroom, didn't feel too cramped. Good service and on time departure / arrival
Pros: Overall a great experience
Pros: I upgraded to Premium on this leg of my flight and the seats were very comfortable for a reasonable price.
Cons: Boarding process. The Zone lines are formed a very long time before boarding really begins. Why?
Pros: No tanta supervisión en el peso de maletas.
Cons: Ground crew is inept. 1. They keep separate lanes for passengers who checked-in via web and who had not checked-in yet. However they did not prioritized one over the other. So people who arrived 10 minutes after me and had not checked-in dropped their luggage before me. 2. They did not ask questions to figure out how to best help passengers. 3. Provided incorrect boarding time 4. provided incorrect information to pickup luggage in CDMX
Pros: Is so quickly boarding and the service inside is very good
Cons: The space in to chairs... for the people big is complicated
Pros: On time flights Boarding process Online checking
Cons: Seat. Seat option charges Luggage charges Food options long lines at Mexico Airport Counters
Pros: How it was organized, boarding system (it was not All at same time but passengers were divided into few groups and they were calling who will be boarding). Flight was Bang on time
Cons: Main food could be better prepared (fruit chopping)
Pros: Not much
Cons: Cabin crew was late, delaying the flight over an hour. When we arrived at the gate the ground crew acted like this was the first plane they’ve seen. Scrambling all over, everyone talking frantically on their cell...keystone cops
Pros: We upgraded to the "MA" seats and it was so worth it.
Cons: The food was so so.
Pros: The flight attendants were great courteous, polite and professional I loved it
Cons: Some of the planes didn’t have the screens working to relax in a longer flight
Cons: THE FOOd
Pros: Una mierda aeromexico
Pros: Good timing.
Cons: Overweight passangers could not lower their arm rests and spilled into other passangers seats. No personal entertainment.
Cons: Aeromexico is garbage, very poor service on the phone, the gate, the airplane. I do not recommend this air line
Cons: Your bad service I’d appreciate That you have had sent an e-mail to remind me of the web check in. I was used to that and i made a mistake as I read that the flight was departing at 3:40 pm from Bogota and I missed the flight. It was a no show and I had to pay 845 dollars and you dont care. You will receive all the money and I have to loose it all. How can I send a complain?
Cons: The flight was delayed for a day. I had to spend a night on Mexico. They changed my flight so I lost a day traveling.
Cons: Cancelled my flight, rebooked me two days later with no meal vouchers, hotels or accommodations. Booked on another carrier and asked for refund on cancelled leg and was told no. Why does SkyTeam partner with a carrier that has no intention of providing any type of commitment to its customers.
Pros: The food was good
Cons: The fact that when the Mexico City security detained my bag Aeromexico told me the bag was never loaded on the plane in YYZ. They gave me an email address and said good luck. My bag was then shipped to Bogota I went to the airport and asked fir it back only to be told it was sent back to YYZ. I was supposed to be given $100 -never happens. Now I'm home and I have no idea where my bag is.
Pros: Puntuality and service
Cons: We are not able anymore to get upgrade with the use of certains credit cards
Pros: Very nice crew
Cons: Old plane, very uncomfortable seats, no leg room and no entertainment
Cons: they charge 250 dolars for my service dog, even though i had all my dods documentos. its ridiculus. i call customer service and they did not do nothing to help me.
Cons: Recieved my bag in Mexico City completely wet!!!!
Cons: Entertainment center TV on the seat doesn't work
Pros: ON time, friendly, comfortable and there was food.
Cons: the delta/aeromexico lack of coordination for my seats.
Pros: Attendants were courteous.
Cons: Space between seats and back rest. Atten
Cons: 5 hours delay and the did not give us a clear explanation
Pros: I enjoyed my flight it was comfortable seatoseating. The good was great! The flight attendants were very professional and friendly.the entertainment was great because I had my own choice of watching what I wanted.
Cons: I enjoyed everything in this flight!
Pros: Seats were comfortable and TV for each passenger.
Cons: Food is really bad. That sandwich can be eaten.
Cons: Well, I missed my flight currently still waiting to HOPEFULLY board my flight home to San Francisco.
Pros: Would not recommend.
Cons: Poor service.
Cons: people completely ignore social distancing when boarding and deplaning. Not enough emphasis is made on this.
Cons: There were plenty of available seats to social distance however upon asking to be relocated they would only do an aisle seat for money. What happened to caring for others SAFETY?! I sent a Twitter message (with photos) and no reply. Shitty service and lack of concern for human health.
Pros: Above average amount of leg room. Plane was very clean.
Cons: Seats could have a bit more padding. Sitting becomes uncomfortable quickly.
Pros: On schedule A+, even ahead of schedule a few minutes.
Cons: Very little legroom, not reclinable seats, no carry-on included, no snacks included for the 3+ hour flight. They should include more for the price.
Cons: Everything needs to change! Worst airline worst service rude people. Horrific experience wish I got my money back.
Pros: No frills. To the point. Quick 2 hour flight, nice plane.
Cons: Take off was delayed
Pros: I sat in the first row so I had a lot of space and leg room. But the seats in coach looked super super cramped, and I heard people complaining. The crew was very very nice.
Cons: Check in was very very very very slow and the crew didn’t seem to care at all. I also got charged 75$ for my one bag. The people at the gate were not professional and everyone around me was complaining about their experience. I will never ever fly Volaris again. They should GO OUT OF BUSINESS.!
Pros: the price
Cons: Volaris's system apparently was malfunctioning that prevented anyone from checking in online or through any app which caused stress the day before travel. Even worse, they couldnt even check in at the gate and had to fill out forms by hand, which caused a 2 hours delay!
Cons: The flights took off over an hour late. The seats were incredibly uncomfortable and didn’t recline., even ven a little bit. I am 5’6” and my knees touched the seat in front of me.
Pros: Affordability, that's about all that is good with Volaris. Everything else is either bad or mediocre.
Cons: Don't board passengers onto the aircraft until it is ready for passengers. Both direction (OAK to MEX and MEX to OAK), we were boarded onto a hot (not aconditioned) aircraft for at least 15 minutes before the A/C is turned on. In addition, boarding were completed and all passengers were sitting in the aircraft for over an hour before it started the taxis to the run way....why board passengers so early? At least turn on the A/C and let the cabin cool down before boarding passengers.
Pros: It was ok.
Cons: It was ok.
Cons: Free snacks and beverages
Cons: None , everything worked out well it was an excellent fly
Pros: The crew were absolutely amazing. They offered to tag my carry on free of charge as baggage. No issues whatsoever with stroller or car seat. Very friendly staff.
Cons: The plane itself was uncomfortable and would prefer complimentary snack or beverages.
Cons: El equipaje tardó mucho en salir
Cons: Everything went well.
Cons: Late and slow boarding, last minute gate change
Pros: The flight was delayed 2 hours
Cons: My suitcase was damage when I pick it up
Pros: Timeliness its great to be on time.
Cons: The seats it’s too cramped, also paying 4 dollars for a water is ridiculous and to top things off children crying the whole flight I rather spend my money on another airline
Pros: The crew was ok no contact no interest on mi is ok
Cons: The checking line ,soo bad , need much improvement!
Cons: This fly was pretty good!
Pros: good crew
Cons: seats uncomfortable- no padding!!!
Pros: Nothing to say
Cons: We had a bad experience with one of the seats. It was totally in a bad condition. The seat was destroyed, totally uncomfortable. It is a shame to pay so much for flights and receive this kind of "standard" in an airplane.
Pros: Boarding was fast.
Cons: Flight was delayed.
Cons: Get the forms to fill up
Cons: Crew did to know how to be patients or help the guest specially when you have an infant with you
Cons: You don’t let carry anything in your hands for free, you charge for everything. I don think it’s right. Other than that was excellent...
Pros: The crew was friendly and helpful
Cons: The seats were very uncomfortable, the boarding was confusing and took a long time.
Pros: Crew did there job very well. Seats were terrible like riding in a New York City bus. Shamful, this airlines has no respect for their paying customers. My knees were pushed into the seat in front of me.
Cons: Fire, dismiss, out of hear the CEO who approved the cramped seating layout!
Pros: Very friendly crew- this airline is really making attempts for on time boarding on time landing and in increasing their customer service
Cons: For this type of airline-nothing
Pros: Nothing to like. Crew was unprofessional, rude, and no comfort in the flight.
Cons: Everything could be better. At least offer compliments coffee/sodas instead of charging for every little thing.
Pros: On time due to excessive scheduled flight times
Cons: Boarding system , expensive and low quality food for sale on board, entertainment on board, unhelpful stewardess staff, deplaning system keep us waiting for half an hour to open the airplane door at the Cancun airport gate
Pros: The crew was helpful and professional. The plane was clean and orderly.
Cons: The flight was VERY late (about 4 hours late) with no reconciliation for the massive tardiness
Cons: Volaris charged $36 for 1lb over in my carry on luggage.
Pros: Cheap flight
Cons: Really unconfortable plane and flight hostess weren’t able to deal with situations.
Cons: They want we paid for everything, even for my purse... the seats very uncomfortable
Pros: On time
Cons: All the mosquitos that entered the plane upon boarding.
Cons: Charge 50 dollars for one baggage. when other airlines charge 25. Bad service.
Cons: Everything was the worst experience ever
Cons: Kiwi lost my reservation I lost my fligh
Cons: They checked us in, at the 2:00am boarding time they told us there was something wrong with the plane and they had fix it. Finally, at 6:00am they canceled the flight. We won’t be booking volaris again.
Pros: Buying the extra space is worth it.
Cons: Volaris didn’t tell us what happened and didn’t tell us we were going to board late.
Pros: Cheap ticket prices.
Cons: Flight was changed to 3 days later than we were supposed to leave. Not able to reach customer service. Kiosks in Mexico City have no idea what is happening, I had to raise my voice for someone flying to help translate. Horrible old planes with tiniest seating. Never again.
Pros: Quick and relatively cheap.
Cons: It was too cold.
Cons: Volaris is now weighting handcarry bags at the gate and charging if it is more than 10 Kilograms. Mine was ok. But a new rule enforced when boarding. Several passenger had to stop, weight and pay. Another bad thing on Volaris.
Cons: Nothing very bad airline
Cons: The flight was delayed for more than an hour. I was the first person to board at 2:22pm and the flight was supposed to leave at 2:30. Because of this, and poor management in Customs, about 5 passengers including myself did not make it to our connecting flight to Chicago. We were move to the next available flight, which was 7:30am on the next day, and they only provided a 21-dollar meal voucher. No hotel accommodations, even though it was their fault we missed our flight
Cons: Restriction on checked bag at 18Kg after a payment of US $50, it is totally rediculous for an international flight
Cons: It was a lovely flight
Pros: On time great flight!
Cons: Always more FREE leg room!!! You
Cons: Only book two people per side
Cons: VERY unclear baggage rules - meaning I paid $100 extra for a checked bag after booking, and then also unnecessarily paid an extra $55 for a backpack at the airport because there was not notification on-screen that it was allowed as a personal bag. I then could not get a refund at the baggage counter because they don't do transactions. I am now trying to work out how to get a refund from Australia. I would have been better off taking any other airline and it would have been cheaper than these extra fees. I am so disappointed.
Pros: A no frills short flight -
Cons: Absolutely no frills. Hand carry and check in Baggage, food and beverages all have a price.
Pros: Nothing, never got on the plane.
Cons: I was stuck in traffic before the flight and arrived approximately 50min before the flight. By the time I finished fighting with the self check-in machine and talked to a person, it was about 45min before the flight and I was told I was too late and the plane had already boarded and was full. I asked if I could get on the next flight, but I was told the next flight from LAX to Oakland wasn't until 7AM the next morning. I wound up having to buy a last-minute, one-way ticket on American Airlines just to get where I was going. The man at the counter was very rude and dismissive about the whole thing.
Cons: 10pm - 11:30 flight. It was a little late & that was that was okay. They got us on board & we took off. I piad for a big seat so I could get some good sleep. But NOOO
Cons: The worst experience ever. Will never fly this terrible airline again. The worst customer service on the phone and at the airport. This ticket was booked for me for a quick trip and I needed up rebooking my return on another airline the same day because Spirit is that terrible.
Pros: No delays. Boarding was efficient but not much else. Very basic.
Cons: I wanted to bring a bag as hand luggage and had to pay $46 each way. I've flown loads and this is the first airline who has charged for carry on.
Cons: I have been flying since I was 5 years old. THIS WAS THE WORST flight (experience) thus far! Flight and boarding on time, BUT THE MOST ANNOYINGLY UNPROFESSIONAL FLIGHT CREW took over once on the aircraft. This made the uncomfortable crampped overpriced for what you're not getting flight a nightmare. There was horrible turbulence as well, which the airline is not responsible for; However our captin did'nt address the passengers at all. And the completely UNPROFESSIONAL rude chatty and hard to understand screeching non english speaking voices from two women kept coming over the speakers disrupting what little peace one would try to focus on while being jolted around like on a rollercoaster. You some people were ACTUALLY motuon sick, scared, and nervous BUT they didn't stop talking long enough to notice. I only noticed the men working with passengers to maintain some calm by displaying professionalism.
Cons: After flying a dozen times with a suit bag and a backpack that fits under my seat, I've never had a problem The lady checking tickets gave me an ultimatum, either you fit your suit bag in your backpack, or you have to pay $59 for a carry-on bag. No ticket checker has ever said this to me in the past. She was rude, direct and didn't leave me with any other choice. She ignored me after she gave me the ultimatum, while I'm asking if this was a new policy. She gave me the cold shoulder. I was very frustrated, luckily the suit bag fit in my backpack. Then when I got on the plane there was so much space in the overhead bins, so I took out my suit bag and placed it in an overhead bin while the crew was watching. The crew didn't say anything. Your teams need to be more persistent with policy.
Pros: When I checked in the website did not indicate any seats had been assigned, nor were any available. But when I went to print boarding passes, my whole family had been assigned seats in the row across. What a nice surprise. Dropping luggage at BWI was really smooth, and attendant printed out boarding passes for us.
Cons: Crew constantly announced for people not to congregate in the aisles waiting for the bathroom. Suggested people wait in their seats until the bathrooms were available, but this does not work unless you give people numbers, and call them up by number. Also, there is no forward indicator when the rear bathroom is available. Seats were miserably hard for a nearly 6 hour plane flight.
Cons: I've read bad reviews about Spirit airlines, but I was on a budget and decided to take my chances. It was a very small plane, which meant tight quarters during a 4.5 hour flight. I have a disability and deal with chronic pain and usually need to carefully plan out long flights so I arrive with minimal pain, but the seats were very small and moving about the back cabin was impossible. When I asked for a wheelchair I wasn't granted my request right away because I was told I didn't register online. I've always requested a wheelchair when I check in with major airlines when I arrive and have never been given a problem. Also, I didn't realize checking baggage would cost so much! No wifi available a very turbulent flight and they even charge for water. It wasn't the most horrible experience, but if we pay for a cheap ticket, expect substandard service. This will definitely will be my last time with Spirit Airlines.
Pros: 1) Friendliness and openness of the crew 2) good legroom (we paid extra for it)
Cons: 1) web site charged our credit card to check a bag, but at ticket counter the agent insisted there was no record of this. We had to pay again to check our one bag! Now, we have to pursue a refund. 2) boarding pass was unreadable by the TSA scanner. 3) ticket agent didn't know the seating on the plane; insisted that we had reserved a window seat, which proved false. 4) seats very uncomfortable; no lumbar support. 5) surprisingly costly baggage fees, which erased the initial ticket price advantage. 6) $9 club name is misleading -- sounds like it costs $9..
Pros: Some of the Spirit crew did try to assist me and the other passengers.
Cons: I was unable to check in online and when I tried to use a Kisok I was told to talk to an agent. i waited in a very long line, was told I might not make it and that they wouldn't hold the plane for me (or the five other people who had the same problem as me) but if I made it through security in time we could. When we all made it to the gate they closed the doors and wouldn't let us board even though we were there before takeoff. (One girl was even there before they closed the doors and they wouldn't let her through. Spirit changed our flights to the next available plane (11hours away) for no charge but I bought a new plane ticket with another airline.
Pros: Departure was on time, Flight was pretty smooth. Arrived & landed a few minutes early, but had to wait/taxi for from 11:12p -
Cons: Kois was not working. So machine printed out a ticket that said see agent. We proceeded to a sign that said Agent Assistance & stood in line. Waited in line for about 15 minutes, then an agent announced we were in the wrong long & to stand in a different line. We and other Spirit customers experienced the same treatment, very rude & no positive spirit from Ticket agents. We were in line for an additional 30 minutes before we were called to receive service, get our boarding passes. We were not Preassigned seats & had to proceed to the gate counter to get our seat assignment, but there were no Spirit Agent present. There were about a dozen customers waiting in line but was not serviced until towards the end of boarding. As a executive manager of a non-profit organization I had to be observant, & not once did the 2 female agents smile or seem to be happy to assist their customers with enthusiasm. When we entered the plane, the first male flight attendant did not even acknowledge us & several other passengers as he was on his phone texting. The value of Spirit was definitely NOT experienced today.
Pros: Other than my issue, Spirit airlines was a pleasant to fly with. Comfortable, good crew.
Cons: I didn't like that I had to pay for a carry on - since I had a roundtrip flight, not only did I have to pay a $60 fee for a carry on, but I had to do it twice. That cost me twice than the flight ticket itself. Normally flights allow for one personal item, which I had in the form of a backpack, but I also had a carry on, which carried the rest of my clothing since I've been traveling around the States. It would have been nice if the airline included the potential cost of a carry on when I purchased the ticket rather than surprise me with two $60 fees for my one carry on bag.
Cons: The fact my flight was delayed, they wouldn't let me check in after their computers froze at the airport and caused me to miss the one hour before cut off time limit to check in. They made me take a different flight the next day and charged me a $25 fee to do it all because they wouldn't check me in and therefore had to miss my flight. The fee for having a carry on bag is redic since they have the room like any other plane for it in the overhead compartment. My new flight the next day was delayed also (over 3 hours) so I took another flight so I didn't miss my event. Spirit then cancelled my return flight days later because I skipped the outbound flight, they auto cancel all of your future flights. So I then show up in the morning to the airport not knowing they cancelled my flight, they don't tell you in any way, stranded and told I have to buy another ticket back for almost triple the price. The story goes on and on, absolute nightmare. I wish I would have known or gotten a refund to ease the blow.
Cons: I would strongly consider adding warnings regarding spirit's iperation; I experienced 5 plus hours of delays on oak to lax flights; they aren't communicative, have horrible customer service and absolutely refuse to acknowledge they failed to meet even a minimum standard of care. One thing to have delays due to weather impacting all carriers; in this instance on both days all spirit flights were late, no other carriers impacted. I rarely respond to this sort of prompt but I fully expext at least a refund of my fare.
Pros: Refunded my ticket with no issues
Cons: First, they cancelled my 8am flight at 10pm the night before with no notification. I happened to see it and call to rebook on the next flight, but if I hadn't been checking the flight status I'm not sure what would have happened when I got to the airport. Then, the 10am rebooked flight was delayed for over 2 hours - with basically no communication from the gate agents and no updates to the expected departure time. Ended up getting a refund and rebooking on Southwest - which was a perfectly smooth experience, huge contrast to the clusterf*** of flying Spirit.
Cons: When buy through kayak link it takes you to the spirit page, where there's no spot to put in get TSA Precheck. When do all through phone, the boarding pass on the screen doesn't actually scan - only airline in the world where you still need a paper copy. After 50 mins in security line, the phone bar code didn't scan (can't use phone for spirit). Had to leave to get a paper boarding pass. Missed flight. I fly at least once a week every week. Have never missed a flight in my life (probably bc I had never flown with spirit before). Missed this flight! No refund, no airline credit (even if I got the airline credit I would let it expire to avoid flying with them again). Literally worst user experience I've ever had with an airline.
Pros: Nicole at Spirit corp who reversed the charge.
Cons: Kayak didn't mention the luggage charge at all. Then Spirit didn't send me the required email though I called twice so by the time I got it the charge was fifty BOTH WAYS. I got that reveresed by corporate but the ticket counter people were AWFUL and uncaring and not just to me. Everyone in line was saying they would never use Spirit again. One woman was charged eight dollars to get a seat next to her toddler! Awful gouging airline. It costs one hundred dollars if you don't know and bring a suitcase to the plane without paying days before!
Cons: Plane was downgraded last minute and because there were less seats about 40 of us had to be re-booked on a flight out the next day. They comped hotel + food + cab expense and gave a voucher for a free ticket that had to be used within 1 yr, booked within 60 days. But it was overall shitty experience. When I went to use food voucher the next morning in the airport Coffee Bean they told me they didn't take them. And the hotel wasn't too close to the airport so more time spent in cab plus the hotel was sub par.
Cons: My Luggage was 10 pounds over weight and I was forced to pay an extra $55 on top of the 50$ I payed for my bag. The attendant placed a Red Tag on my luggage stating that the bag was "Heavy" when getting my bag from the baggage claim I noticed that my handle on the side of my luggage was completely broken, as of a worker tried to grab my bag only from that handle! Which would be wrong still on the Red Tag placed on my bag States you should pick the bag up while bending your knees! This is not a cheap bag!
Cons: No complimentary drinks, snacks, or entertainment. Even on a 4+ hour flight, the most they could offer me was a cup of ice. No water, juice, soda, pretzels, peanuts, etc. If you wanted ANYTHING, you had to pay for it. Also, they charge $55 to bring a carry on and $50 to check bags. On both departure and return, I tried to do self check in at the kiosk, but error messages came up both times (despite accepting and charging my credit card) telling me to wait in line to see a cashier. So trying to take initiative and doing self check in was a waste of time and I still had to wait in line afterwards. Very dissatisfied with my experiences on Spirit Airlines. Flight was also late to take off, but there was no announcement revealing to updated expected time of arrival.
Pros: We showed up to the airport for a flight from Oakland to LA and the agent notified us that our flight was cancelled. This was on December 23rd, and they told us they could put us on another flight on December 25th! We were returning on the 26th so that was entirely unhelpful. They said the reason for the cancellation was weather in LA. But none of the other airlines were having any issues with their flights. We were flying at 9am and there was rain in LA at about 7pm. They offered to refund us, which we accepted. I was expecting to have to harangue them to actually get our money back, but the refund came through unprompted about a week later. We did not get reimbursed for our cabs to/from the airport, or for the cost of driving to LA.
Cons: We spoke to multiple attendants, during check in and during boarding, many of which advised us incorrectly. During check in, we asked a Spirit employee if our bag was considered a Personal Item since Spirit charges for carry ons. They advised that we would be fine, and that since it was our only item it would count as a Personal Item. Perfect. Then we finally board the plane and it turns out our only piece of luggage cannot be considered a personal item and demanded we pay $65.00 for the carry on. The fee itself is not the issue, the misinformation is my main complaint. Had the original employee told us the correct information, we could have checked the bag for $55 during check in, instead of $65! during the boarding process. Not to mention it was unnerving holding up the line to board as I fished out my wallet. Anyways, better communication is definitely needed at Spirit Airlines.
Cons: I got this ticket thinking that it was the final price. I got to the airport, the counter folks were very un-organized and un-attentive, took a while to get to the counter. Then was told i have to pay $50 for checking in my bag, otherwise will be $100 at the gate!! Not wanting to miss the flight i did not argue and paid and went to the gate. I had no idea that the charge was this high. At the gate and in the plane there were many passengers with the same bag as I had!!!! The counter people did not tell me i can take it the plane, they forced me to check the luggage in :-( First and Last time on Spirit airline for me!
Pros: The crew was always attentive and responsive.
Cons: It was very difficult to check in on line. it took me over one hour. Wanted to get my sits and when I took the option there was no sits to select even when paying for it. I checked my carry on and I kept having the offer to be part of the club to pay less for my carry on. I did not want to use the option but I keep being sent to that side. The same experience I had when tried to check in in my flight from Oakland to Chicago on Friday. since the web site did not let me check in I had to check in at the airport. There was an accident in the freeway and I ended up losing the flight from Oakland to Chicago because the website did not let me check in the night before. We arrived 45 minutes before the flight and they have the policy to check in 45 instead of 30 minutes before the fight like other airlines. We did not even get options or credit. We just had to buy another flight. It was a nightmare.
Cons: When I see one bag per person, I assume it's like everywhere else and you have a personal item and one bag. So I had to pay $55 for my tiny suitcase to come on. Had I known, I would have packed differently. It got me so upset that I started to cry. Yes, I probably did not read carefully. But am I the only one to whom this has happened? I should have flown tried and true Southwest which does not nickle and dime you. Will know better next time. In all the trip cost me a lot more than I would have had I gone Southwest with a slightly higher fare.
Pros: That there was a Virgin Loft flight club in the terminal, only used it because of the Spirit delay
Cons: Front counter is rude. I don't know if they just had a front counter person having a bad day but I've never experienced that with any airline. Then there was a flight delay of a minimum 2 hours due to a bad windshield? Great keep us safe, but good luck with finding someone at the gate or a service counter to give you an explanation of why it's delayed. Instead just wander aimlessly around the terminal looking for a Spirit employee. I then went to the Spirit website and it shows the flight as "on time", really?? At least give me an app or website that's accurate so I don't have to sit in front of the gate for 2 hours. When booking through Kayak there is no mention of pre-purchasing checked baggage so I was stuck with a $50 fee at the ticket counter! This is definitely not the "low price" airline unless you truly "travel naked". Save yourself some grief and ignore Spirit as a flight option.
Pros: I was quite surprised at check-in to find that checking a bag cost $50 and a carry-on was an additional $55. I travel frequently and usually the first checked bag is free or $25, and a carry-on is free. I booked on Kayak and didn't see any notification that your additional fees were so much higher than the industry standard. It appears that your business model is to attract clients with low prices, then hit them with hefty additional charges at th airport, when it would be difficult for them to change plans. It worked this time, but I will never fly Spirit Airlines again. I suggest that you reconsider the way you treat your clients.
Cons: I understand that Spirit intentionally gives minimal additives and services but I feel they can be a lot more transparent about what they do and do not provide. I felt very uncomfortable on my trip back for the following reasons. 1. Tray table was half the size as a normal tray table. I was trying to do work on it with my small computer and it kept falling off and into my seat mates lap. 2. There was a flight attendant named Duron who made a few comments that made me feel very uncomfortable. I felt he was inappropriate. When collecting trash he walked by my aisle and commented to the person next to me (he was reading the New York Times), "Anything about Trump, or Kill-her-y, Killary, Hillary in there?" And laughed. I was shocked that someone, especially a professional at work would say something so volatile and frankly, violent. On his second round he again came by and asked if "Trump was in the paper and worth reading. Killary in there? You can guess who I am voting for." While people in the back row laughed and the man next to me nervously laughed. I felt very uncomfortable and felt he was inappropriate. I plan never to fly Spirit again after this experience. I hope that you can address this issue with your quality assurance team and to Duron. It can't continue. Thank you,
Cons: Up charge on everything. Rude customer service. Can't check in at the counter at least at LAX. Missed my flight and had to wait 7 hrs because only 3 of the 12 kiosks were operating at the agents wouldn't let me check in at the counter. By the time I got my ticket printed I had 43 minutes till my flight left. Waited in line just to have an agent tell me I was 2 mins too late. Last check in is 45 mins prior to flight and I had 43 mins left. Complete BS. I will not fly Spirit again. If you think I'm exaggerating read other reviews. Good luck!
Cons: The staff was rude from check-in to on the plane. The charge for my suitcase and weight of bag was ridiculous and never have I ever paid that much for a suitcase. My bag came back broken and open and I am missing few things from that pocket. I am very disatisfied with your team and my customer service and extra fees. I will never fly your airline again and could have definitely flown cheaper with a different airline. I believe you should put in bigger and bold type that people can not include purse as carry on and backpack because I had to put my purse in my bag to check it which meant my bag weighed more costing more. My flight was more than an international flight which is absurd. Your website should disclose that information more clear.
Pros: I am Physian, I arrived at Oakland airport at 1pm for my flight at 1:47pm, I could not print my boarding pass because of a stupid policy that states 45 minutes is the cut off. After a humble plea to the staff who were really sooooo rude especially the supervisor Maria, they told me there is nothing they could do. I was so disappointed cos I was meant to be on call. I had to but a last minute one way ticket with south west that was boarding in 25 minutes. ...experience was like night and day, better and more courteous staff. Anyway,I will never fly Spirit again. It's not worth it.
Pros: Gate person was very helpful got us on the flight early and we had great seats I am 6'4" my son who was in LV for basketball is 6'11" and she was great.
Cons: At check in for our baggage it was a very long wait Michael who helped us put us on standby for an earlier flight gave us new boarding passes did not see that I had paid for a carry on bag so my boarding pass did not have a carry on. I also had a very hard time checking in for our flight and printing the boarding pass as the web page was down for almost 24 hours I wasted many hours trying to print the boarding pass and was very surprised about the charges for seats baggage and printing the boarding pass.
Cons: After realizing how much extra I was going to pay for "buying" my seat, boarding pass, and my luggage, my checked bag weighed 2 pounds over. Well, there's another $25. I was pulled for a second security check which I guess I can't blame Spirit for but only after getting to my destination tonight did I realize that something fell out of the bin when the officer took my things to scan it again. Good bye cute make up bag. The flight was delayed and the gate changed several times before we actually boarded. Seats were very crowded and you had no room to move. Thank goodness it was only an hour flight.
Cons: This trip was lousy. The ticket taker called everyone up to board 45 minutes early and the plane wasn't ready to board. The on board process was lacking in courtesy. The seats are WAY too narrow. I had an aisle seat and the stewardess knocked me in the head every time she passed which was over 30 times. The pilot announcements left me concerned for my safety. The flight attendants were required to yell annoying advertisements for 15 minutes even though the flight is only 75 minutes. And some weird teen sitting behind me kept putting his head between his knees and head butting the back of my chair. Flight crew couldn't care less. The best part of the flight was getting OFF!
Pros: A good male flight attendant whose name started with M.
Cons: I arrived at the airport more than an hour and a half before the flight. The wait for check in was incredibly long. It appeared that there were 5 employees at the counter but only 3 were checking people in. The TSA line was also very long and when it appeared that I was going to miss the flight, I expressed my concern to a Spirit agent who referred me to TSA who referred me back to Spirit. We were told we'd be re-ticketed at the gate. Finally, a large group of passengers who were in the same situation just moved to the head of the TSA line explaining our situation and enduring hostility from some of the other passengers. The gate was far away and I'm not able to run. The plane was held for us but the experience was MISERABLE. Spirit needs to have adequate staff to check people in and needs to press TSA to do the same. I've never had this experience on any other airline and I travel a lot and have for decades
Cons: Spirit attendants at check-in misdirected me multiple times due to a glitched boarding pass that they would not explain to me. Then, when I got to security, they couldn't scan my pass because the toner level of the printer had been low and the code came out fuzzy. Then, at the gate, there were no attendants around, so I went looking for one. When I returned to the gate, the gate had closed, which resulted in my missing my flight. I missed a full day of my trip thanks to your poor service, and after calling customer service multiple times with absolutely no result, I will be taking my story to social media and never flying Spirit again.
Cons: Both flights were substantially delayed causing havoc in the schedules of those picking me up. They have this carryon policy that anything bigger than basically a handbag, you are charged $55 each way!!! This added $110 to my flight!!!! I ending up paying more than my other more sane and professional options. I should of flown Southwest. Then on the loudspeaker in the plane, they talk about what a great airline they are and that you should apply for their credit card. I have to say not one person filled out the application even though you got frequent flyer miles.
Cons: Because their ticket counter was backed up and the machines were not working I got my ticket late, because I got my ticket late me and 10 other passengers missed boarding. We arrived when the plane was still there and connected to the walkway. They refused to let all of us board even though my sister was told that they would hold the plane for 5 or more. I had to fly to San Diego and then pay for a new flight on southwest. SOUTHWEST IS THE REAL MVP. Take my advice, never fly spirit. Also, 50 bucks per luggage per way, so one bag totaled 100 to fly it.
