I know it's hard to make a 14+ hour flight in economy enjoyable, but more varied food selections and better/more current movies to choose from would have helped.

The ladies at the gate were able to provide us with the best updates and tried their best to keep everyone calm and answer as many questions as possible and were constantly checking for updates. They also provided water and chips for us where no one else was trying t do anything at all.

The flight was delayed several hours due to mechanical issues in the cockpit. Why they would think we would want to fly on that plane after the pilot refused the "fix" and left because he and his crew "timed out" because we waited so long. Flight was scheduled to depart at 8:26pm, we didn't depart until well after 1am. I got home at 6am! The ladies at the gate were awesome, however the "supervisor, Armondo Gonzalez Figueroa, only came to restate what had already been said by the gate agents, did not have ANY answers, did not offer any solutions, barely answered any questions, and stopped the gate agents from removing blankets of the plane to provide to the many many passengers who were waiting there freezing. The compensation offered was a joke. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!

- each seat has cable television (even for very short flights) - I was asleep my whole flight from Long Beach to SFO but the pilot was great! came over the speaker to let us know there was a great view of the sunrise and what we were flying over below. - dimmed the lights for the flight since so many people were sleeping on the early flight

Our prior flight arrived 30 minutes late and we had to run to the opposite side of the airport. We were there before the departure time but the staff gave us a hard time saying they were going to lock the doors on us. It wasn't until the flight crew ran up behind us that they finally didn't have an attitude and said we were fine. Online entertainment didn't work, no shows, the map doesn't have a time or useful info. My row was skipped by the crew for snacks. The guy came from behind first, which I didn't see and then one the way back, he didn't even look at my row or the row in front of me.

Nothing, they didn’t care about you or to help, the llady was so rude and unfriendly, this situation ruin my whole trip

I call in advance to paid the fees for baggage, I call Aeromexico because was the main airline for the fly, but Delta at Seattle made me paid again the fees for baggage’s even by phone they said that I didn’t need to paid. BE AWARE AND CAREFUL BECAUSE THE LADIES IN THE FRONT DESK didn’t even look the paperwork that you have in hand, they only want to charge you saying that your payment thru Aeromexico didn’t help you in the 1st fly. How this can happen when Delta and Aeromexico are two subsidiary one of another ?

Seats were comfortable ... enough. Boarding process, once underway allowed me to get overhead bin and stash my other luggage in the seat below me. Flight wasn't overly booked (85-95%) so there appeared to be room for others to stretch out. Now about that crying kid...

Ugh. Weather delays. The flight was scheduled to board about 7P but it arrived late and they had to not only unload the self-loading cargo, but clean up afterwards. Would be nice to get a better estimate as to how long it would take to board so that I could hang out in the lounge. In addition, departure from JFK was delayed as well, either we missed the IFR window or got stuck behind some traffic and I fell asleep on the plane only to wake up what seemed an hour later just getting ready to hit V1. No upgrade.

Long wait for de-Icing. Got on and off the plane 3 times. First wait was 1 hour, but plane aborted takeoff. Second plane waited at gate with all aboard for 2-1/2 hours and never got slot and de-planed. Third plane waited 1-1/2 hours for de-Icing and finally we were headed home. Arrived 8.5 hours after schedule.

Due to the earthquakes, the film festival I was going to was cancelled. Ten days prior to the flight I called AeroMexico to cancel and they said there would be a cancellation penalty, which was fine. When I tried to redeem my credit, they said there was also an additional "No-show fee" even though I called to cancel 10 days prior, which left a total of $70 credit after all their penalties. I called and emailed to complain but they did nothing but pass me to someone else who was equally unhelpful. I will never fly AeroMexico for any reason in the future.

Cuando abordé el avión me di cuenta de que el espacio sobre uno no es necesariamente el espacio designado para su maleta de mano, ya que uní puede guardar su maleta en el espacio sobre otra persona; sujeto a la voluntad del pasajero o la disponibilidad del espacio en el compartimiento. Creo que cada pasajero debería llevar su equipaje de mano justo sobre su asiento para evitar desorden, mal entendidos o que se pierda equipaje de mano entre la confusión.

En Cancún el sr. Que nos atendió en el counter fue bastante grosero Nos trato muy mal inclusive nos iba a enviar a hacer la fila de nuevo por q mi maleta pensaba 2 kilos más. Le dijimos que solo traíamos dos maletas y nos dijo eso no es mi problema ud puede traer 10 maletas pero ninguna con sobre peso. Como se nota que ud nunca viaja me dijo. Son 107 dólares si quiere llevar su equipaje y si no de una déjelo acá en Cancún y váyase ud para Costa Rica. Ni esposo tivo que ir por otra maleta para poder viajar pero no me gusto la forma en que se burló de nosotros y la manera en que nos trató

My experience with Copa is that they are efficient yet customer friendly and changing planes in Panamá on trips to South America is usually quite convenient.

Copa has a tendency to leave the "Fasten seatbelt" sign on for long periods of time, even when there is little to no turbulence. This makes it difficult to know when to move around which is unfortunate on a 6+ hour flight.

Everything. We have flown over 6 flights with Avianca this month. Every single one of them was delayed or cancelled. Not one apology. Not one upgrade. Nothing. We missed 4 days out of our family vacation due to Avianca's terrible service and airline. We went to 3 different offices and called the call center 3 times, we sent 4 emails to no response. Do not fly with them ever.

Crew service inflight are very well trained.

After I checked in online, I noticed that my flight was delayed from 9 pm to next day at 3 am. I called the help desk and after 40 minutes and 4 different people they said that in fact that the flight 008 from Bohota to Miami was delayed. Very Poor communication between company departments and poor communication alerts to costumers. In addittion, the only explanation from counter staff was "airplane maintance". Really? For an international flight from Bogota where you have located your main airplane base ? I do believe that land staff is very poorly train compared to inflight crew. Land staff has very poor supervision to improve costumer service.

There was a huge glitch in your ticketing, resulting in me confirming the same ticket 3 times. After calling Jetblue for customer service per your advice, they first suggested to give Jetblue credits for extra tickets. When I insisted that the issue was solely caused by kayak-jetblue ticketing connection issues, they supervisor approved to cancel 2 credit card payments... BUT I have to wait for 2 weeks to see the cancellation on my credit card. Unfair and ridiculous, if you as me.

The welcome abord

I remember once they asked who wanted stay and spend a night in Panamá, I accepted the offer in Panama, but when the flight that was in my regular schedule was about to leave, they told me that I needed to abord because it was no possible to stay and I made big movement with my luggage and they putted back my luggage in the plane. That was one of the bad moments I experienced with Copa once.

Online entertainment didn't work, no shows, the map doesn't have a time or useful info. My row was skipped by the crew for snacks. The guy came from behind first, which I didn't see and then one the way back, he didn't even look at my row or the row in front of me.

El servicio a bordo es muy buenos. Las personas muy buen trato

En Cancún el sr. Que nos atendió en el counter fue bastante grosero Nos trato muy mal inclusive nos iba a enviar a hacer la fila de nuevo por q mi maleta pensaba 2 kilos más. Le dijimos que solo traíamos dos maletas y nos dijo eso no es mi problema ud puede traer 10 maletas pero ninguna con sobre peso. Como se nota que ud nunca viaja me dijo. Son 107 dólares si quiere llevar su equipaje y si no de una déjelo acá en Cancún y váyase ud para Costa Rica. Ni esposo tivo que ir por otra maleta para poder viajar pero no me gusto la forma en que se burló de nosotros y la manera en que nos trató

Leg space

Everything. We have flown over 6 flights with Avianca this month. Every single one of them was delayed or cancelled. Not one apology. Not one upgrade. Nothing. We missed 4 days out of our family vacation due to Avianca's terrible service and airline. We went to 3 different offices and called the call center 3 times, we sent 4 emails to no response. Do not fly with them ever.

Not sure who thought every passenger is 5'6 but for the rest of us, the seat pitch is ridiculously close. Like knees to the seat in front close. I'm 5'10 and I was very uncomfortable the entire flight.
