Cons: Missed this flight by a few minutes because the previous JetBlue flight was delayed by about 30 or 40 minutes. It would have been better if the connecting flight could have waited a few minutes, then about 8 or 10 of us wouldn’t have had to have been rerouted and spend nights at the airport.

Pros: I liked the male flight attendants on my flight. They were nice and cheery and was always willing to help. The inflight entertainment and WiFi was great. The snacks were also good.
Cons: I forgot to the flight attendant’s name but she was quite rude. I traveled with an infant who required warming up of her milk in a bottle and I would ask for hot water and she failed to bring it over. I requested hot water twice. Initially when the plane was taking off- she stated she cannot bring anything while the flight was taking off but even after take off and in cruising altitudes she did not come over until we rang the call bell and another flight attendant came over. Second time mid flight we happen to ask the same flight attendant for hot water as she passed by— she nodded her head but again never returned with the hot water. Again I hit the call button and another attendant came over and gave me water. I felt that she did not like attending to the flight guests and always seemed to give an attitude. I understand traveling with a child may be hard for others, but imagine the parents who have to care for a starving baby. The flight was also a bit too warm.

So the good is that JetBlue did reimburse me for the LYFT I had to take to San Francisco.
Cons: Well I arrived in San Jose, not San Francisco. So I arrived 3.5 hours late. Also, I did not appreciate when the gate agent told me that I could not be reimbursed for ground transportation because my flight was weather delayed not mechanically delayed. I understand that he/she may not have known what was the issue with my original flight out of Salt Lake. But, telling me that I would have to pay for ground transportation at 1 am to get the last 30+ miles to my destination made me really worried. If he/she didn't know and didn't have the time or resources to figure it out, I would have preferred if she redirected me to someone else or a phone number or email.

Cons: For that size of airplane basing on the fact that it was an international flight not having a USB port or any power source by the seats it’s ridiculous. The boarding process was a nightmare, very disorganized the crew members starting boarding group by group just using ONE of the two entrances available because of it the line to board the plan occupied almost 2 boarding gates. I couldn’t reclaim my seat because it was broke, the quality of the food was very mediocre, crew members attitude were upsetting... uncaring and ignoring passengers call. Another filthy plain ... I had 4 flights with avianca between 2 International fights and 2 national connections, all flights were terrible! The worse part is I probably could’ve flight more comfortable for less money or at least get what I paid for.

Cons: At check in in Bogota we asked which line to turn in luggage; as we had previously done online checkin. We were placed in a long line and waited about 45 min.s. Several people were allowed to bypass the line, as they were 'late' for their flight. When we were close to being served the attendant 'placing customers in lines' directed four or five groups from the special needs line ahead of our line in a row. We were told we had missed the baggage check in by 2 minutes and had to pay $60 usd to take an flight 2 hours later. We were then yelled at that we had been in the wrong line. There was another line, very fast one, one the opposite side of the gate area for those with 'bag drop' only needs. I had showed the airline personnel our check in info on my cell and was placed in the wrong line by them. So many problems at airport check in with this airline.

Cons: On Feb 26th we had a flight leaving Bogota back to NYC, and at the gate, we found out our flight would not be operated by Avianca, but by a Spanish carrier called WAMOS. Wamos airlines does not offer in-flight entertainment. It offers an app that you can download on your mobile device prior the flight, even though there are no plugs inside the plane and no fully reclining seats. This change is being caused by an ongoing strike action by some of their own pilots and this has been regarded with absolute no consideration from Avianca to its costumers. At the airport we talked to 3 different customer services employees, all giving us different versions of the story and no clear answers. One employee told us that we MAY have a possibility of reimbursement and another one that we could stay in a hotel and catch another flight the next day (which was not an option for us) There was no advance warning about this change to me (not even during check-in) Found out later some passengers gotten an email informing about this change, but not all of them. Staff didn't know anything about this flight. The gate staff only informed passengers of the change, after I complained, and kept insisting that the airplanes were the same, when clearly it was not the same quality, in amenities and service on board. There were big delays and a mess with seat assignments. Many customers traveling together with separated seats and of course, delays in departure caused by the mess that Avianca caused. Just to be clear. what Avianca is doing is stealing the money that we paid for a specific flight, to voluntary change us to a much less inferior flight, with absolutely no consideration and no compensations.

Cons: The announcements were all in Spanish and it made it difficult for me to understand what I needed to do. I acknowledge that I was one of a very few passengers who spoke only English, so this was not a problem for many people. The leg room on the flight was incredibly cramped.
Cons: It was late and then I missed my connection, and an Avianca employee told me there was a later flight from LAX to PDX (at 11:45 on AlaskaAir) which I would be put on. However, once I arrived I was told I was on a 6 AM on Delta with no arrangement to get me a hotel or anything. I bought a separate ticket on that 11:45 flight on Alaska Air to PDX instead. Extremely unhappy with this service and will never again use it. I will also tell everyone in my social circles, in person and online, to stop using it.

Cons: I bought my flight and it had 2 connections. The time frame between flights was HORRIBLE! On the first flight change I was in a horrible rush to get there on time an I barely made it. On the second flight change, I was one of the firsts in coming out on the plane, I didn't stop even for a second and was fast paced and even with that I had to run from half of the airport to the gate because boarding was complete and the flight was waiting for just a few persons (which I met later because it happened the same to all of us) . My flights were on time so all that stress was NOT SUPPOSED to happen. It took forever to being able to get out of the plane and it was more than clear that Avianca didn't took any of that or the airport procedures in mind before selling the flights with connections. And because their lack of organization and being so careless about this matter, my checked bag got stucked. I was lucky enough to get home but my bag did not. And it happened the same to the other people who had problems with their connections too (that's where I met them, when we were the only persons who didn't got the bags and happened to have similar experiences with our connecting flights). I'm really disappointed, I really liked Avianca flights in general but now I know I can't trust in their judgement when it comes to connecting flights, they just sell you the flight and don't care if you're going to be able to make it or not.

When asked to persuade certain travellers to put their seats in the upright position during mealtimes they refused and claimed that it is bussines of mine to arrange for that. In the course of previous flight they have hower required that. Very confusing. The behaviour and performance of the crew was hardly proffesional. They paid little attention e.g. To people who did respect instructions concerning fastening the seat belts orcto remain seated during landing, etc.

Cons: Everything was bad. Super delayed, terrible explanation. Had to stay overnight in the airport in the worst lounge I’ve ever seen in my life. Got a hotel voucher but by the time I would have gotten through immigration and got to a hotel I would have had 1 hour to “sleep” before having to get back to the airport for the 4 am flight which was then delayed again to 5am. After all this, we only got a $250 voucher on a $1500 flight. When I asked about business class upgrades they said they had seats open but it would cost $400! For a seat that stayed empty Instead of giving it to a customer who had been through the worst travel experience of their life. The flight attendants seemed like they really couldn’t give a damn about helping out customers and it’s the only airline I’ve ever interacted with where no one speaks English. One guy actually rolled his eyes when I asked him for the meal I missed when I was sleeping.

People will bring bags with full roasted chickens - Entretainment was ok, but their system is just so slow - A lot of loss time because they lost my bags in one of the connections. Cons: Once In Bogota my 1h flight to pereira was cancelled and I was told I wouldn't be able to get on another flight for another 1 or 2 days which was a huge inconvenience, later after speaking with someone I was given the option to board another plane to a nearby city 10 hours later. I agreed and had to make arrangements to make transportation from manisales to pereira,for my surprise on the way to manisales the flight got redirected to Pereira my original destination, that was great but created another inconvenience for my transportation arrangements.

Cons: After all these connecting flights especially after being delayed in Cali, the flight in Bogota was delayed and the Avianca crew did not announce it. After realizing it was time for boarding according to the time that I needed to be at the gate from my ticket, that's when people were realizing there was an issue. Once I got to the podium and handed my tickets the staff handed a voucher. There wasn't a hello, we're sorry for the inconvenience or the reason why the flight was delayed 2 hours. I had to ask them why what happened, what is the voucher for, how does it work, what time we were expected to be at the gate. The staff made everyone aware that we needed to be at the gate at 4pm so we can depart at 445pm. The food was okay and the staff looked a little annoyed when serving drinks. I shouldn't say all of the crew but from the back half of the plane the staff looked annoyed if not bothered. Didn't get to NYC until 12am, but had to wait on the runway for an additional 20 minutes. Again no communication on what was going on.

Cons: Boarding done against logic: my seat was in the last 5 rows of the cabin and I was scheduled to board in the final group. When I got to my seat the first 30 rows were nearly fully, but the back of the plane was half empty. The whole time the gate agent was urging passengers to move faster through the aisle, but Delta should really rethink its boarding strategy. It shouldn't take 40 minutes to board a 757.

Cons: Ugh. Weather delays. The flight was scheduled to board about 7P but it arrived late and they had to not only unload the self-loading cargo, but clean up afterwards. Would be nice to get a better estimate as to how long it would take to board so that I could hang out in the lounge. In addition, departure from JFK was delayed as well, either we missed the IFR window or got stuck behind some traffic and I fell asleep on the plane only to wake up what seemed an hour later just getting ready to hit V1. No upgrade.

Pros: I didn't get a chance to get the gentleman's name at the gate, but he was able to get me on the earlier flight (since I had NO luggage and only 1 carry on that fit under my seat) and didn't charge me the stupid fee for filling a seat that was empty when I was giving up a seat on a later flight that would accommodate those who missed this earlier flight. Nice to see kindness in an industry that seizes fees on every opportunity.

I had to tell the flight attendant about the spoiled seat that I previously brought to the attention of the caretaker of the individual but she had zero concern. I was on a 7 hour flight having to try and avoid the smell. I had to attempt to eat food trying to avoid that smell. The person in front of my seat was able to smell the body odor and urine. He also warned me about the urine in the seat that I was aware of but at least he cared unlike that caretaker. If not fot that experience my flight would have been much better.
Cons: This airline claims they are the #1 on time airline, but other than this, they don’t do anything differently. Their service is worse than mediocre, their planes are outdated and the entertainment is extremely poor.

Pros: Very comfortable seats on a new airplane. In premium seats (i.e., business and first 8 rows of economy), there was a good variety of inflight entertainment. The flight was smooth and easy, and you could actually understand the captain on the overhead speaker!

Not enough beverage services for such a long flight, especially when we weren't able to bring our own water bottles on board (security check at the gate immediately before boarding -- liquids not allowed). Food -- nice to receive two meals, though they were so-so in quality. Half the crew was very friendly; others barely cracked a smile.

Cons: -When I left Punta Cana I had bought 3 rum bottles at the Duty Free. I was able to carry on board these bottles, but when I arrived at Panama the Copa crew informed me I had to check my liquor. I had to throw out everything from my backpack and place the bottles in it. Copa crew managed to break my bottles.
Cons: They said the flight was delayed by 2 hours but then decided to board all of a sudden. We somehow made it but still ended up missing our connecting flight. Food was pathetic with no vegetarian options. Groups of people were split up and not seated together. Complete mess!

I arrived had already checked in, i had no luggage i simply had a backpack and a carry on bag.She told me that my plane was gone 1.5hr before departure. She went in the system type customer missed flight. What she did was deceptive, unethical, and of course should be illegal. I still believe that flight was overbooked, copaairline had to cancel my previous flight due to the weather. When i contacted copa airline directly nothing they could do they said. I was advised by copaairline to wait 3-4 hrs to reactivate my ticket. I was told specifically by a gentleman that there was a flight boarding at 12am. I waited at the airport for about 8hrs to find out there wasno 12am flight that day. I cant make this up people, i have never in my entire life experience that level of stress and anxiety. I want my money back!!!

(The site I booked through didn’t give me - or at least I didn’t see it- the option to request a special meal.) In this day and age, I really recommend they have a non-meat option. Mind you I booked this flight several months ago and somehow my seat got taken away from me because copa overbooked yet again. Worst customer service of all time. Was traveling with a group of 7 girls and got left behind in Panama because Copa took my seat away. Had to sit at the Panama airport for over 10 hours waiting for the next flight and arrive home at midnight. Copa would not allow access to a lounge or hotel even though they initially offered it when they said how they would take care of me if they couldn't get my seat back. Disgusted by how this airline operates.

Then I changed flights once the connection was going to be missed and had a narrow margin to catch the newly assigned connection which was the last flight to town. The flight leaving SF was delayed to where I missed my last flight and had to stay the night in Seattle. It seems all of this could have been resolved if I could have gotten on an earlier flight, which I was trying to do since 4:00 that day. I didn't end up leaving SFO until 9:00 pm
Cons: i travel with copa every year, and for the last 2 years i have experienced problems with them. specially with the reservation and the luggage. I like to buy my ticket 3 to 4 to months ahead so i can reserve my seats in the first rows. When it is the time to do the web check in, they change my assign seats and separates us in different seats back in the airplane.
Pros: Our flights both left right on time. The connection time in Panama City was very short so we were concerned that our checked luggage may not make the second flight. Very impressed that our luggage did arrive in San Francisco without a hitch. Very friendly crew. They spoke good English too!

Cons: I was seated at an exist row at the window seat. The crew would not allow our row to stay seated at the exit row because she said we did not know Spanish well. Instead of finding us replacement of a window and aisle seats we had to take middle seats. She didn't even make an effort to ask if anyone would switch out. I wish airlines would train their crew to think out of the box style and practice customers service, which finds solutions and not state rules. In the end - people migrated to the exist aisle anyway (where we were seated) and made it into a bed.
Pros: Getting off the plane
Cons: Biggest problem was the inappropriate advice given in Sint Maarten by Copa employees about checking bags in Panama. This caused us to have to buy a new piece of luggage to transport something that couldn't be carried through security. Apparently TSA requires additional screening beyond the normal airport security for Tocumen. For Copa employees in Sint Maarten - whose only flights are to Tocument - to not know this is absurd. There was also an incident with duplicate seating that was handled extremely poorly. I was not involved, but it occurred on an adjoining seat. I finally resolved the problem by giving up my seat. Tocumen airport is not an airport that I want to see again. The security - as indicated above - is not up to standard, the flight listings are ridiculous (6 screens all showing the same flight information and never progressing past "M" In the alphabet, way too much duty-free shopping and way too little other signage. It's off my list.

Pros: I liked the modern aircraft, service, easy check in procedures..cost-free alcoholic alcoholic drinks were nice and the food served was tasty although there is room for improvement on the presentation (=appearance) of the meals served.
Cons: Copa cited some airport restriction on number of people they could accommodate on the plane due to weather and how this was handled and processed by the ground crew was just terrible. This affected a number of passengers -- 30 or more, by my estimates. And it started with the leg from Panama to San Francisco not checked in automatically and getting placed on standby. The call center did not offer a suitable explanation for the airport's weather restriction. As a frequent flier on the Star Alliance, I have not seen a situation handled as poorly as this. The ground staff seem very poorly trained to handle what seems to be a frequent situation. And despite most affected travelers being there early with a layover began to resolve this only 45 min before the flight. My appetite to fly Copa from San Francisco has vastly diminished. And so has the desire to fly through Panama City, if weather is as fickle as they say it is.
Pros: I was bumped from an overbooked Copa flight and was offered another that would get me home at 1am (rather than 3pm) or an overnight stay and a flight the next morning. Instead of trying to find a way home from the airport (a 1+ hour ride) in the middle of the night, I opted to stay in Panama overnight. Copa put me up in a very nice Sheraton in downtown Panama City with a pool, several restaurants, a casino... They gave me $20 per meal I'd be staying for (lunch, dinner, and the following breakfast), arranged a shuttle to and from the airport, and, the best part, a $1000 voucher for future flights with Copa within the next year - enough for two more round trip flights.
Cons: Communication was minimal or false. When I checked my bag, the agent told me that I was being placed on standby because of a weight limit on the plane. She assured me that the flight wasn't full and that I would absolutely get a seat. When I got to the gate, there was minimal information available, but about 12-15 people were on standby, including two families of 4 and 5 people. The agents were ill-informed and didn't immediately explain why so many of us were on standby and whether anyone would make it on the plane, or what the other options were for those who wouldn't make it on the plane. Eventually four or five people boarded, another few got moved to a later flight, and 6 including me were put up in a hotel. Betzy, a gate agent for Copa at Tocumen, was absolutely wonderful and so helpful and informative with all of this.

If you want to provide a better customer experience, equip all your planes with seats video screens. Passengers on a 4 to 5 hours flight don't want to have to figure out what do to watch a movie or TV. I don't fly American that often, but wanted to give it a try to see the difference between you and the other airlines. I have to say that on the return segment (ORD to SFO), I was not that impressed.

Families with babies, couples, even ours (though the kids are old enough for me not to be truly worried as some were). Somehow reservations seems to have messed up an entire flight. We gave up trying to fix it for fear they would make it worse. Then the woman at the gate tried to get folks to volunteer to give up their seats on an overbooked flight. But she was screaming at us. Unbelievably unpleasant to be yelled at over and over again and told we could lose our seats. The poor weather likely caused flights to be rerouted into PHL so our flight out to SFO ended up 1/3 empty. FABULOUS. But the gate experience was horrible and the legroom, had it been a full flight, was miserable. I'm in search of an airline with a humane approach.

Customers were told the flight was delayed because Air Traffic Control issues in SF, but there was no plane in sight... Again I felt we were being lied to. The plane was filthy with garbage everywhere still. I will never fly American Airlines by choice!

Cons: When we arrived at AirPort El Dorado, we discovered that our flight was cancelled/has been changed without warning us! They scheduled us a new flight with Vianca and Iberia: Bogotá-Madrid + Madrid-Brussels. My partner and I could not sit together on any of these flights! 1 of 10 hours and of 2 hours! I would NOT recommend AA to anyone! This was full responsability of AA!

Zero help and communication with airlines (AA and LATAM) involved with the delays, lost connections or frights cancellations. I should be reimburse or compensate for all the inconvenience generated.
Pros: Check in and boarding was quick

Pros: The crew was able to seat my husband and I together at the last minute as my husband has mobility issures
Cons: The crew seemed like they could care less about the passengers. Choice of either one snack bag of pretzels or a biscotti ~ very minimal. No headphones were offered for the movies.
Pros: How the pilot was insistent on the idea of taking off and flying, although we were informed of two system error messages, alledgedly the first for an issue with the AC, the other regarding the drain system. After our return to the gate for the second warning, I deplaned. Didn't feel safe after that!

Pros: I liked that the seats had chargers (even though I didn't need them) and that they offered entertainment.
Cons: Boarding was over 30 minutes late which ruined my SF plans. The crew was mot welcoming walking on or off the flight. They were also very rude when serving, one even gave me a super nasty look and mumbled something under her breathe because she ran into me. Just a terrible experience. They also didn't tell me baggage prices when I was there just swiped my card.
Pros: Good options of entertainment.
Cons: Bad service of few members of the crew. Always seem to disturb them. In the long flight, they never pass to offer water (flight Bogota-Barcelona)
Pros: The crew was very nice and competent and obbiously embarrased by whoever in operations screwed this flight up good.
Cons: Pleane departed two hours and thirty minutes after original schedule because of operational and equipment problems. Plane wasn't even in Philadelphia unti 6:00 pm. The guy at boarding (unlike the boarding in SFO) called way too many groupss individually, First Class, Diamond, Premium, Gold, Priority. This led to many people being refused boarding and told to wait. In SF they simply call first class and then all the rest or the Aadvantage members together before the land boarding. Much faster and more efficeint. Even though the flight was full there less than 12 people in the Diamond, Premium, whatever classes. And the guy taking the boarding passes was a jerk. He actuallly seemed to take pleasure in telling people they couldn't board. Might not ever fly AA again. At least never from Philadelfphia.
Cons: Due to the delay which caused us to miss our connection we had to get a hotel, which we had to pay for. It also caused me to miss work the following day.
