This was the worst flight of my life. I was placed in 33D which should not even be considered a seat. If anything it should be a heavily discounted seat. Aside from the usual more tolerable issues (no leg room, delays, poor snacks, the air vent smelling moldy, etc), this location was plagued by being placed directly in front of the bathroom door with all of the fun smells and sounds. The worst part was that there was a dozen available seats on this flight and was unable to moved my seat to any of them. I find it unbelievable that this seat was first assigned over any of those. Very disappointing.
Alaska Airlines has great customer service. I would like the Alaska lounge to improve with food options.

I bought this flight for my mom to come to Houston to see her grandkids and on the way here, their flight was delayed over and over and she didn't get until midnight and she was supposed to be in at 5: 30pm. My mom is almost 70 with a bad knee so that's a long time to be stuck in an airport because her first flight was delayed and she missed her second flight and had to wait for the last fight of the day just to make it. Not only that, which is ridiculous because if a flight is delayed the next fight should have waited for them, on the way home, once again her flight was delayed and by the time she would have gotten to Portland she would have missed her flight to Redmond. So we called and had to get her flight changed because of that. Thankfully she was flexible and flew out the next day, but the Portland trip didn't happen. I am happy that Alaska did make it right by getting her a new flight and upgrading her seats but there should be holding the next flights if the flight is getting there within a few minutes of them boarding. If one flight is delayed, the next flight should be delayed just to accommodate people. Older people having to wait in the airport in uncomfortable chairs for hours on end is not the best for my almost 70-year-old mom.
The seats are so close to seats in front that you cannot lean forward and reach anything you may have placed or dropped on the floor.
It's no surprise that bigger overhead space would be nice, but they are super convenient and helpful with the baggage claim stuff.
No free internet, lazy flight attendants that did not like to serve drinks. Blamed it on turbulence but there was not any.
The flight was canceled and very little help given at the check in desk. Everyone at the desk says: just go on the app and see how they rebooked you. I mean come on it’s embarrassing customer service.
Because of a 90 minute weather delay in Seattle, we were four hours late getting home, but Rebecca on the phone line & the desk agents in Jackson, Seattle & Portland did everything they could to minimize the delay. Also my bag was left behind in Seattle, but was promptly delivered the next morning & Alaska gave me a $50 credit for a future flight. Thank you!
Once again, AA overbooked this flight, stranding passengers in between blizzards in Jackson. At least this time the agent took volunteers - on my flight TO Jackson from LAX, AA simply cut off boarding midway through Group 7 without warning. This flight was mostly fine, with the exception of the flight attendants. They stowed my carry-on (and a few others') at the front of the plane, but didn't pull the bags out upon landing, nor even communicate to that there were bags there to the crew. The crew had to go searching for my bag after I explained it should've been on the valet cart. When I got to the shuttle, my flight attendants were already on it. Seems they were in a hurry to clock out... at the expense of me and other passengers who had trusted them with our luggage.
Be on time. No issues with weather etc. entirely on airline.

I think in the future I cannot fly anything less than Comfort plus. The seats vary depending on the plane. The people are extremely nice and funny. I try to only fly Delta if I can help it.
delayed take-off, then had to circle in air for awhile, wi-fi did not work, then the cabin got extremely hot multiple times and the luggage was at wrong carousel at LGA. In addition, plenty of overhead space so they checked bags too early. Horrible flight.
Flight was fine, it was on-time and was not cancelled which is very good. However the small cabin bag was forced check-in although once I entered into the flight there was lot of space which would have accomodated 10 such bags. Moreover this caused delay on arrival of my bag due to which I missed my booked cab and had to wait for another 20 minutes before the next taxi (Uber) arrived.
WiFi only works on about 75% of my Delta flights. I rarely fly SW, but their WiFi works 100% of the time and is easy to connect. On my DL flight from DCA to BNA today, I try to connect to WiFi for about 30 minutes, but I gave up. I have a lot of work to do, and I lost two hours today. Very frustrating.
Only flew a short distance from Buffalo to New York City JFK SO it was okay
dropped my bags at Seattle Delta curbside. 1.5 hours before departure. one bag oversized made it. the other was left at curb and mishandled. poor communication from delta in sjc baggage claim. No internet on flight and food choices in business are horrible. You are forcing us to fly Alaska which is shockingly better than the Delta experience. that is a low bar.
We had a terrible experience. The flight was delayed several hours, so we missed our connection. We were told to wait at the airport. At around 11:00 pm, the flight was cancelled. There were no available seats out of Jackson for the next two days. Fortunately, we had the foresight to rebook on United for the next day. However, we had to spend a long day at the airport and an overnight at a mediocre hotel. It was a miserable way to spend part of our vacation. We also sacrificed our $450 deposit on our California hotel because we could not get there.
How about not delaying a red eye flight by 3 hours and causing a chain reaction of missed connecting flights

The guy in front of me was talking constantly, even when the pilot was making announcements. I found this very disrespectful to the pilot and to others.
The couple in front of me were constantly talking over the announcement from the captain and this was annoying me.
It was great. I really love the app. User friendly and very comprehensive when it comes to having information at my fingertips tips related my travel.
Delay of two hours due to some mechanical issue. Staff was wonderful and the pilot did let us know what was going on.
We left 1.5 hours late due to a “maintenance ” issue. Very poor communication as to when we would board & depart. The crew in First Class was uncharacteristically not friendly). Delay into Brussels cost me my connection to Rome so lost the entire first day of vacation ( had a 10:30am flight to Rome - ended up on a 6:55pm flight).
The food for long haul was poor compared to Singapore airlines economy. Pasta plain with tomato sauce . Singapore airlines give me Hagen dash small ice cream cup it was great. The choices of dinner course Singapore air also much better The crew mostly friendly. The economy seat are as expected.
Was 4 1/2 hours delayed. No food options, poor entertainment and cramped seats made worse by people in front reclining while we could not as in back row.

The stewardess was excellent. Very accommodating in a quiet way, which was appreciated. The only thing that could have been better was the choice of snacks. Chips, cookies, etc. weren't an ideal way to start my day on a 7:00 a.m. flight. Offering fresh fruit, yogurt, or other breakfast foods would be great. 😁
comfy and spacious seats for premium economy, nice flight attendants. only problem was the wifi did not work, and my entertainment screen was locked in Arabic language and all kids shows with no way of seemingly changing it. but the flight was fine and I arrived with no issues
extremely tight seats. seating next to a large person makes the space very uncomfortable. The crew is not very friendly either.
The flight was 3 hours and 40 minutes late. The communication around the delays was awful. I fly this route regularly and it is always late. I don't understand it. The flight attendants were not friendly and were generally loud. This was an overall bad look for American Airlines.
It was a late flight; crew was invisible. Zero air flow - the tiny plane was a sauna; the left the lights on for 1/2 of the flight; there was no water. Never again.
We were delayed a long time. We waited for “catering”. We didn’t get any food or accommodation for our wait. It made us land well after dinner time at our destination.

Most things were ok but the main problem was the cabin staff; they were very abrupt and not very friendly. They were busy and often rushed, snatching drinks off people before finished and bossing them about.
The flight was as good as it gets when flying. On time departure and arrival plus no lost luggage.
Horrible! Got stuck in Jackson Hole and the plane kept delaying every 30 min until they finally cancelled the flight. Other airlines were busy flying out and American had cancelled. Horrible experience, we had to switch to United to get out of there!
The new buisness class pods are 100% worth it. Loved it.
Pretty bad. No welcome drink (the Lufthansa signature drink they advertised but did not serve). No 2 round of beverages. No coffee to end your meal. No snack before landing on an overseas flight. Mediocre everything and unattentive staff. Munich and Frankfurt as connecting flight airports are terribly big (20 min walk for transfer!) and confusing. Will not fly again.
My premium economy experience did not live up to my minimum expectations. I've taken this flight twice in the last three weeks, and each experience was the same. The premium economy seat was worn and extremely difficult to recline. It took two people to return it to its takeoff and landing position. The food was OK, but for the premium that a premium economy seat cost, I expect a satisfying meal. Years ago, I looked forward to the experience of flying transatlantic on Lufthansa (I especially enjoy the hot towel before the meal), but this is not been my experience recently. I'm not going to use Lufthansa again.
If was mostly my own fault. I booked and paid for a window seat. That was a mistake for a long flight. It was hard to get up and use the bathroom. The entertainment system seemed primitive for a modern aircraft.
It was a safe and smooth flight. Members of the crew at the second level, business could have been more polite and engaging.
Our seats were not together - one on upstairs business class, the other nicer downstairs business class. Terrible!! A very nice agent worked hard with other passengers & got us upstairs together. Not ideal experience. Check in agent should have caught that! Asked about upgrade to first class for additional $2500 each. Refused upgrade saying we upgraded once already. We booked on business class to begin with so we’re NOT happy!!
Old planes and rude crew. They need a make over and better staff training. Even business class crew was rude and the hospitality was non existent.
They left a little late, contributing to our missed flight.
Great. Only issue…the cabin was kept as warm as a sauna.
United did a good job of communicating before the flight, but a simple notice about the expected time for the completion of repairs to the broken navigation services (which closed the airport for the day) would’ve helped to clarify our expectations. With so many cancelled flights on the 21st of September, a little certainty about our own departure would’ve helped. Because of the disruption, the plane was quite empty, and at 6‘5“ I was able to steal a little extra legroom from the empty adjacent seat. However, I am still waiting for the day when I can sit in a standard economy seat and simply straighten my legs. Cabin crew were amazing. Great attitude, and moments of fun with passengers.
