The flight was late and they had no one working in the evening. I had to cancel the reservation and go with Avis. I was not informed that they had no evening staff. I will never use Airport Van again and I will recommend against anyone else using them.Reviewed Jul 23 2024

Awful the lady at counter was so mad and didn’t support us as customer. Basically she just dropped the keys off to us. Also, she spoke too fast and told us that $200 were going to be refunded and I see they are still on my credit card.Reviewed Jul 5 2024

Worst experience I have ever had with a car rental. Got vehicle with half a tank, which should of been a sign, if they can’t fill it what else won’t they do. Drove it to hotel. Tire had a slow leak. Woke up to flat tire. Called AVR, no answer, so called road side assistance option, after beening on hold finally get someone, said they will come. No one came for four days i had the rental. No would answer phone, mailbox was full. Spent over a thousand in uber to get around, and paid 60 dollars a day in parking to have van sit there. Never experienced such terrible service in 25 years of being on the road. Can’t imagine if i was i on the freeway. Hopefully get reimbursed, still waiting.Reviewed Jun 26 2024

My experience with Airport Van Rentals was terrible. Not only was the pickup process very slow, but it was extremely outdated and unclean in their office (which is in the back of a hotel). My biggest frustration is that they charged me a mandatory insurance which, along with some additional fees, came out over $70 above what Kayak quoted me. Very disappointed with how this worked out since Kayak's quote has always been correct for me at different rental agencies in the past.Reviewed May 21 2024

I was concerned as the reviews were terrible, but there’s new management and the GM Alicia was absolutely wonderful. The LAX location is a little unconventional (pickup in a nearby hotel) but there’s a shuttle and the effort was worth it given the value and excellent customer service.Reviewed May 4 2024
