Dirty car inside, like totally dirty and mark no damages, but there was damages and it was hard to c them at night what was the pick up. I was lucky to find the damages on a rental parking lot and make the photos, otherwise they would ask me to pay for them. The request of 2 credit cards as guaranteed was shock, they said we need two of your credit cards as it a luxury car. Lucky me I have 2

Supplier choice

The supplier choice is apparently an EV even though I didn’t select the EV option. They require you to bring the car back charged. For a one day rental to the airport, that is not realistic. I was also charged for gas, which I had stopped near the airport and filled up. I eventually got a credit but the whole thing was a hassle and didn’t leave me feeling good about renting from Budget in the future.

Pick up process was ridiculous. I'm not exaggerating--standing outside (not in any type of building or cover) for 56 minutes while they tried to figure out rentals for myself and 7 other customers. Ended up just giving me a size up, was not cleaned well, didn't have record of what fuel level was at, and staff spoke all of 3 words to me. I saw the poor reviews at this location and figured, how bad can it be? Yes I got my vehicle and it worked fine, but the entire pick up and drop off experience was horrible and I do not plan to rent from this brand at this airport again.

Pick up and drop off were simple, quick and easy. It snowed while having the rental, which clearly didn’t have winter tires so I was sliding all over the road. Be careful when driving if your rental does not have the correct tires!

The rear passenger tire had a slow leak and we were continually stopping for air-called Avis Customer Service and we got an exchange with upgrade with no problem at all!!! It was simple and we lost no time on our journey!

The rental process went very well. I had booked the car ‘way back’ in Nov 223. I liked the reminders as the usage week happened in mid-Jun 2024. Location in the airport also proved excellent.

We did not get the model/type of car booked. It was a downgrade... Not impressed, no discount given. But was offered a bigger car for an additional $20 a day. Will book elsewhere in the future!

Staff was really friendly. Car handled well in winter weather. Easy pick up and drop off.

Cons:

My rental felt overpriced — $175 for 26 hours and only used $5 worth of gas. Staff didn’t explain cost or meaning of other add ons, felt a little pushy. But I also recognize that that is their job!

Cons:

They gave away our car. We got a deal through Kayak. I guess they did not want to honor the deal so they rented our car to someone else for twice the price. As a result I would never use Enterprise car rental or Kayak again!

Pros:

Several employees at counter carried in personal conversations using curse words (unprofessional). First car had a flat tire, second car did not have full tank of gas. Enterprise off airport where I was suppose to pick up car had already closed so got car at airport. Was never informed the rate would be 300 plus dollars more per month.

Cons:

With regards to reservation, should have been j formed I could turn car in next day and pick up original car offsite which was substantially lower in cost.

Cons:

Enterprise switched the pickup location due to location construction but failed to notify me. I reserved a drop off location (anchorage airport) different than the pickup location but the lady at the pickup location then tried to charge me extra (over and above my reservation amount) to drop off at the airport which was shown on my reservation.. I ignored her "upcharge threats" and dropped off per my reservation details anyway. I will not rent from Enterprise in Anchorage again, it was not a pleasant experience

Pros:

Drop off was easy. Pick up was somewhat easy. Location is great for ease of access.

Cons:

$600 for three days is ridiculous for a car that wasn’t even clean inside or outside and smelled like smoke.

The price would have been reasonable. The convenience of another rental company being right next store with better policies. The ease of penalty free cancelation.

Cons:

Be more like the rest of the world and not require a copy of my insurance when its in my car 200 miles away. I had endured this once before. I got in and was ready to go only to learn I couldn't rent the car because you needed a copy of my insurance. A first in all my years of renting cars. I couldnt recall which company that was at the time of this reservation so to avoid that issue happening again. After making my reservation. I called to make sure. And was told nope. As long as your using a major credit card, which is consistent with the rest of the world, you should be fine. So, I show up only to have that contradicted. And Im told oh everyone here knows that. Well ..... apparently everyone does not. And I took my business down a few counters where they don't require that. I was also told yah if your a resident we need proof but if non resident. We don't. What? The seems backwards but hey.I have a credit card with coverage. And two auto polices that cover rentals. But other than a company offering me coverage for a fee. Ive never had to provide proof. All over the country. Last time I had to get picked up and driven across town and dig my vehicle out to get my card. And come back etc. Huge delays to my arrival plans. Ridiculous and unacceptable. You guys need to get on the same page. And get WiFi so people can use there phone or laptop to access emails to retrieve a copy if they can successfully get one emailed to them after hours.

Pros:

Great value for money. No "hidden fees".

Cons:

Their phone-based customer service. It takes hours, literally, for them to pick the phone at the airport location. If you select any other option, it takes you to a Thrifty's call center in the Philippines, where they cannot access your reservation (because the Anchorage airport location is a Thrifty's franchisee location).
