Pros: Location was fantastic. Public transport in immediate vicinity. The area around Potsdam Place is modern and we felt very safe wandering the streets at night. Great food choices in the area and supermarket close by. The apartment exceeded our expectations. It was very comfortable, spacious, beautifully appointed. This apartment made our trip to Berlin extra special and we Will be back.

Cons: Only a couple of improvements I could suggest 1. Could have been more English speaking TV channels , or access to Netflix etc. Only 2 English speaking channels and both were UK news channels. There were several dozen Arabic stations so it was imbalanced. 2 . There is a small kitchen with a cook top but no pans or frying pan in the room. I am sure they could be provided if asked.

Pros: The location is great, 7-8 min walking to Berlin mall. Near to metro station. Room was clean and clam with a fantastic view.

Cons: Many kind of responds from the staff were taking a lot of time! In the restaurant for the dinner, staffs were not well organized! I was worried about my requests and I should repeat any thing. I got late check out till 18:00 but one of the waiters told me your card wouldn’t work after 11:00 am and it was strange for me! It made me nervous and I checked this problem with the reception and they told me you have not any problem with your key after 11:00 am! Such a kind of mis harmonisation!!!!

Pros: - The walk-in closet is great. We love it! - Wonderful breakfast! Some may complain for the limited choices on the buffet table, but you can always order fried eggs, omelettes, pancakes or waffles on demand. Having stayed at various hotels, I never saw a hotel like Mandala that provides breakfast fruits using the Parisienne scooped balls. If you taste some sauces from breakfast buffet, you‘ll also notice why the hotel FACIL restaurant earned its fame. It is the attention to details made staying at Mandala special!

Cons: - the Internet is not working for one whole day. We brought a laptop but could not work or answer Emails. Fortunately, the Internet is quickly fixed the next day.

Pros: It’s location was fantastic - near to station, buses, tourist sites & eateries. Hotel was really, really clean and new and modern.

Cons: Breakfast was really expensive, 2 Michelin star restaurant In the hotel and the breakfast cost reflected this but it wasn’t worth €30 each No free ‘welcome’ bottled water in the room on arrival, only expensive bottled water in mini bar, - would have been a nice touch for a 5* hotel.

Pros: Rooms were large, modern, and clean. Hotel in an excellent location convenient to trains, subway, shopping, and restaurants.

Cons: we were meeting friends who were arriving at a different time. the reception staff told each of us repeatedly that our friends had not arrived and did not pass on a message.The promised excellent restaurant was not open when we wished to use it.

Cons: I wish there was a spa. They only have a wellness area.

Pros: Poor when items ran out they weren't replaced at once . The bread never seemed to be refilled. In the bedrooms there was no details as to what facilities that the hotel had. When my partner wanted to have a massage she had to go through the concierge. it was difficult to see who the staff or clients were due to the staff not being uniformed.

Pros: This is an excellent hotel. Very well appointed and spacious rooms, very convenient location, friendly staff and wide variety of food at breakfast service. The bedding was very high quality, we had restful sleep every night. The bar downstairs makes innovative, perfume themed cocktails. All round a very nice experience.

Pros: From the moment I arrived I was greeted warmly and treated like a valued guest. The service in all areas of the hotel was the best I have experienced at any hotel. The rooms are beautifully updated with very well appointed bathrooms. Entertained clients on three occasions at the Curtain Club. Could not have asked for better service. Nicholas in the Curtain Club should be commended for a job well done. This will certainly be my go to hotel in Berlin for future stays.

Cons: I expected too much from Ritz, I guess. First of all, I cannot control the lights with buttons next to bed, malfunction, so every time I need to turn on or off, I walked all the way to the front door. Secondly, they didn't place hair dryer. I really don't need it so I didn't call the reception. Maybe it's 'well' hidden? For me it was painful hide&seek and decided not to use it - anyway it was not that important for me. (I told the reception about it when I checked out for other customers.) Thirdly, then I used the tea lounge for light snack during the day time, yet the lady is friendly but very unprofessional especially for this 5 star hotel tea lounge. I ordered coffee, cake and juice. They forgot the coffee and brought cake first without any drink... then "much" later juice and then.... no coffee. I asked them to bring the coffee in a polite way and her respond was "what?.." for a few sec and then "oh yes.." and that's it. No apology or any excuse. She was not rude at all but that was a bit strange for me. I like the interior and the taste of cake but service level made me really uncomfortable. So overall, not value for the money. Lastly, breakfast... really plain or quite special or healthy options or variations. You can see this kind of breakfast for 3 star hotel in any major cities these days. I'd recommend that you go to any hip cafes in mitte area to have cool breakfast if you are not busy in the morning. Cheaper and much better options & taste. Yet, service was super friendly! I've been to non-franchise and local 4 star (or 5) hotels in other areas but their room interior, condition, service level, and even breakfast were way much better - and of course, they were cheaper. I think Ritz became one of those plain franchise hotel and no effort anymore to develop their level. Definitely the whole experience was not 5 star for me at all and no value for money.

Pros: It was a big hotel, in the center of Berlin. The breakfast was very good, also the people at the hotel were very kind.

Cons: The design of the hotel. It was over a few me block walk through the hotel including going to the second floor and back down to a first floor room. Sheesh! He would have upgraded me to a better location for $60 a night. I bet!

Cons: WiFi at room cost money and free in lobby, not so high speed.

Pros: The breakfast buffet was super convenient and had a wonderful variety of foods offered. Our grand double room was a perfect size for 3 guests.

Cons: Our 5th floor had an unpleasant sewage smell the 2 nights we stayed. It would at certain times dissipate, then get more intense in the evenings. The hallway and our bathroom were awful during those times.

Cons: The only thing we didn't like was a small sound coming from the fan of the HVAC unit. Even when we lowered the speed for the fan on the thermostat, we could still hear an annoying sound emerging from the fan. Still it didn't bother us much to get a good night sleep

Pros: The bed was super big and comfy and the bath/shower was very nice. Also the location couldn't be better! All in all a great experience, will definitely come back!

Pros: Location was great, almost next to BBG. We had an awkward suite, A giant almost empty room, only a twin bed for my daughter, no other furniture, attached was the master bedroom for me and my wife, this also had the bathroom, but this room had NO windows! A bit of a strange room.

Pros: It was such a joy to stay there! Stuff was very friendly and helpful +they organize activities in the evening: I was on karaoke party and beer tasting. It is also possible to rent a bike - you definitely should explore Berlin via bike as well. Location is great - there is a Technical museum 6 min by foot away and an U-bahn station almost around the corner Can't wait to stay there again!

Pros: Even though I’m literally just back from my holiday, I couldn’t wait to leave a review for this amazing hostel! Absolutely the best hostel I stayed in during my interrailing adventure. Here are just some of the many good points: - we arrived a day late due to an accident with the train, and my mum rang the hostel to explain we’d be a day late (as we had no credit) and the receptionist remembered her! He was very sympathetic, understanding and charismatic, and even brought us free hot drinks - the decor is beautiful - the atmosphere in the bar is excellent and it has a large selection of books in a very aesthetic library - the beds are small but comfy - it’s very clean - the bartender charred our pizza the tiniest bit and brought us free shots even though we said we didn’t mind, and when I asked if they were alcoholic (just to check as I don’t drink alcohol), he immediately asked me if there was anything else that might be more suitable and brought me a coca cola instead - for Berlin, the location is very good - it’s very safe to walk around in even at night (and it’s a beautiful location, not too busy either) and only a 30-40 minute walk from main attractions such as the Reichstag building and the Brandenburg gate (probably much less if you took the metro!) - best value for money you will ever find

Pros: I stayed at Berlin Classic for 4 nights and everything was perfect. The staff is awesome they are always smiling and open to help. Activities going on each night and the bar is one of the best things. You feel you are at home and I knew great people.

Pros: The localization is amazing, just 2 minutes walking from the U station. The rooms are very clean and the have hair dryer in bathrooms. I liked that they don’t use bunk beds.

Cons: The shower cold be better, it turn off by itself in like 1 minute and you have to press the bottom several times to complete an entire shower

Cons: Bed a bit to soft. Many beds aligned in one single room, no privacy at all (dormitory with 7 beds) Rooms on the street are noisy

Pros: What can I say, its my second time here!!! The staff are unreal! Seriously, location is 2min walk from the subway, breakfast is plenty and very good (all you can eat buffet style with selection of bread, hams, cheese, eggs, yogurt, cereals and more). This time I booked for a 6 beds room so I had to sleep in a bunk bed, last time I had a 5 bed room so they were individual beds.
