Pros: Hurricane Matthew messed up our plans for our wedding ceremony on the beaches of South Carolina, so we decided to ease the pain with a three day jaunt with our boys to Hyatt Ziva. Having spent a weekend at Hyatt Zilara in late June for my wife's birthday, we were somewhat familiar with the Hyatt brand, and knew what to expect from a quality standpoint. The friendliness of the staff is what we enjoyed the most. They make you feel like they are genuinely happy you are there, from the concierge staff to the kids club staff, and everyone in between. The hospitality is top-notch. The sugar sand beaches at Ziva are really nice. Both are protected so the crystal clear waters are calm and refreshing. The lounge chair area next to Habenero's was the best, being right next to the water with service staff to deliver drinks with a smile. Our 6 yr old can't stop talking about The Kids Club. He had such a good time with other kids his age, playing in the water park or eating lunch in one of the restaurant's, or making arts and crafts together. Total winner in that regard. We were able to enjoy the live salsa band that played Thursday night on the rooftop bar. We had a blast dancing all night long.

Cons: There were some things that we wished were better. We had a great time dancing Thursday night, but that was it. No other night had any exciting thing to do. We were treated to some nice performances on Friday night, which was Mexico night, so the main area was decorated and vendors had set up shop to sell stuff, and the food was pretty amazing as well, but we still were disappointed that there wasn't another club like atmosphere to enjoy. And speaking of the food, it was spotty at best. Other than the fare that was offered on Mexico night, it was kinda disappointing. We weren't expecting a gourmet experience, but we thought it would be better than it was. The pool areas seemed a little bi-polar. The main area had someone talking on the speaker constantly, with this droll, canned music playing in the background, and the water felt like a bathtub. In contrast, the smaller pool area on the south beach side was to quiet, with no music at all and the water was downright cold. We thought that a little more balance would have been nice. I was charged and international transaction fee by the resort. When I first questioned what this charge was, they told me that it was from my bank. But after talking to my bank today I was notified that it was in fact the resort that facilitated this charge. I will be calling them this afternoon to address this. Overall it was a great weekend.

Pros: Staff were all very helpful. Many different food choices. Room in the turquoise tower was the nicest out family had ever seen. Pool and beach area just perfect! Would recommend to anyone traveling to Cancun.

Pros: This hotel is a reinvented version of all inclusive where both a traditional all inclusive guest and a silent loner will find his own place and feel comfortable. The food is just amazing as well as the beach (two options of two different types of sea), the gym, activity with dolphins and overall design of the place.

Cons: Some of the personnel lacked formality. Loud parties were disturbing but were easy to escape. If you plan to lose the weight...it is the wrong place.

Pros: The staff was amazing and very attentive. The front desk staff Miroslava is so pleasant and helpful. Her level of customer service was exceptional. Jennifer in Chevy's restaurant had a very pleasant attitude. Eni in concierge services made all my requests come to fruition. Eni the Bell boy is also wonderful. And I can't thank Beatriz enough. She was a joy to be around. She helped to make my daughter Kia's 30 Birthday an experience she will always remember. I can't wait to go back for a family vacation with more family next time. Im even thinking about planning our family reunion here. I absolutely loved everything about this Hyatt location

Cons: The only thing I didn't like is the difficulty contacting the hotel by phone. Its very difficult yo reach then from USA. The only real contact is by email

Pros: It is a beautiful property, but the seaweed infestation emits an awful smell and the beach was closed. I bought this reservation on your site based on your advertisement that it was an all-inclusive reservation. IT WAS NOT!!! I felt totally misled.

Pros: Location is steps from all the restaurants and nightlife in Cancun. Staff are season professionals waiting to assist you hand foot. The rooms are all Jr. Suites and are spacious floor plan that ever room in th ed hotel is design to unparallel ocean views.

Cons: I love staying at Fiesta America Coral Beach. Only they could add a Jaccuzi where the pool is would help.

Pros: It has been a difficult time worldwide but they handled the pandemic well by keeping everything neat and tidy.

Pros: While the exterior of the hotel is showing its age (peeling paint), it’s still fabulous in every way that really matters: the rooms are spacious and modern, the location cannot be beat, and the service is impeccable. You essentially have a private beach with swimmable ocean — few areas of the Yucatán offer this combination. If you can catch a deal for the Grand Club like we did, do it (we paid twenty dollars more total for five nights). The top-notch wait staff of Amado, Alex, Marcos, and Juan Jose will be at your beck and call for what’s virtually an all-inclusive experience.

Cons: Our toilet clogged three times, but the staff offered us a different room. It was a little embarrassing calling for a plunger each time; I asked them to leave a plunger with us so that we wouldn’t have to bother them, but they never left us the plunger. Perhaps they were short on plungers. It wasn’t a big deal: they were responsive each time and it was great that they offered a different room, so no problem really. My only disappointment was that they said they’d leave us a plunger and they didn’t.

Pros: Best location, walking distance from clubs and restaurants. Private beach is very clean with greats service. Clean and modern rooms, very spacious with beautiful view. Super friendly and motivated staff always there to support. Pool is directly next to the beach. Big fitness and spa area. The bus stop is close to the hotel to get around the Hotel Zone, very convinient and low price. One passes by every several minutes. I can recommend this to everyone travelling to Cancun, best value for your money!

Pros: Riu Palace Peninsula is a classy hotel for all ages! The staff are all nice and attentive to your needs. They have good selections of food at the buffet restaurant. They have fun activities everyday (foam pool party is the best) unlimited food and drinks!

Cons: Not really an issue but this hotel is located 10-20 minutes aways from the heart and night life of cancun. You need to ride a bus ($1) if you want to just walk and visit the souvenir shops and the luxury lane/shops. Bus stop is 1-2 min walk from hotel.

Mr. Olegario was the only one who helped us with a smile and good will, making our meals a little enjoyable.

Pros: The location of the hotel was walking distance to a variety of shops/restaurants, and the strip. I loved that it was right on the beach.

Cons: When we first got to the hotel our original room wasn't ready so they put us in a room with the "best view", this room was not clean whatsoever. The next day we checked out to get the room we originally booked & had to wait awhile so it was inconvenient.
