Real people care
Pros: Great location for car rental from CT or NYC train. Super nice people renting clean cars . Gas close by for refueling. Seconds to interstate. Great prices! Nothing could be better.

Pros: i rented this car in the White plains city office. I needed to bring it back it on a Sunday late afternoon after office hours.So they allowed me to return it at the airport for a small fee. This made the whole experience so convenient , hassle free.
I really appreciated it the policy.
The entire process was pleasant, efficient. Maybe cause its a small airport.
The car overall was a good value.
Cons: The key ring sucked. the little id tag kept falling off the key itself. That was a pain.

Cons: $200 holding charge was not communicated verbally to us in the office. Not a nice surprise. Also the car they initially gave us didn't have working motor functions to move the seats back/forward. The cars need to be inspected. What else could have not been working? Disappointing rental with Hertz- not sure if I would use again.

Pros: Really great employees, helpful, professional, friendly. Close to station . Dropoff was easy.
Cons: Car was 1/2 hour late.

Hertz rent a car experience
Pros: Ease of access (right in front of a Metro North station). Very convenient.
Cons: I asked for the option to buy gas at particular rate upfront (instead of filling the tank myself before I return). It was not on the record according to the agent who helped me return the car.
The car return entrance is not clearly marked.

Pickup was the only problem
Cons: Car was not available at the reserved location; had to take a taxi to go to another branch to get my car there. No advance notice to me, although the problem was apparently known to the staff.
All the rest was ok, though; once I sat in the car, it was a good experience.

Wrong facility
Pros: Car was clean
Cons: Somehow had wrong facility, not airport even though I used the airport code. Had to pay almost triple for a minivan that had HORRIBLE gas mileage by 1/3 compared to my expected rental.

Enterprise is great
Pros: The order from kayak said compact SUV, enterprise upgraded to premium. We really liked it.
Cons: The orde we reserved was SUV in kayak. However, enterprise showed as compact SUV. This is not great.
