Overall customer service. The entire staff just didn’t care. The attendant who pulled up the car was on her phone cackling obnoxiously in the middle of my transaction. Called a month ahead of trip and asked if debit cards are accepted. Was informed that they would accept a debit card but a higher deposit is required. No problem there, but upon arrival was then told I'd be charged an extra $30 per day on top of the higher deposit for the daily damage waiver insur.5.6 Okay

Cons:
I rented a car in advance and the rental company at the airport closed earlier than their stated closing time and I missed the rental. So I had to rent another car and lost the $200 because it’s non refundable due to 3rd party rental. I will rent directly from the rental company from now on.Enterprise

Communication would have been better. The location I was picking up the car starting closing on weekends for covid. No one notified me, so I paid for. $20 Uber to show up to a closed business. Hertz shouldn’t had the common sense to call people who booked weekend pickups and reschedule them. Ridiculous7.6 Good

Nothing. Prices were inaccurate and misrepresented, my money was held and I didn't even use their servicecannot speak to quality of car but if it is anything like the experience I had with their customer service...Cons:
was charged an additional 75 because of my age. I cancelled less than 24 hours after making the reservation - they charged me and would not return my money for over a week - criminal!Ace

They took a deposit and it was not returned within a week, which is when I am writing this review. Spoke on the phone with them yesterday, was told they would refund money that day, but not done. An unprofessional operation - there was no receipt given at return.3.6 Mediocre

Good on gas. Remember, Jersey has gas station attendants. You do not pump your own gas.Cons:
2012 vehicle. Bubble on front right tire. Windshield wiper smacking right pilar. Many nicks and dings over the entire car which, as it turns out, blended in with most vehicles in Jersey... Only after you make to reservation you find out where the rental location is. Take the train to the "hotel pickup". Don't go to the "Rental Car" station. READ THE AGREEMENT CAREFULLY!8.0 Excellent

Pros:
the car was very old and was malfunctioning. I could barely drive up-hill as the engine was stalling. I had difficulty passing other cars as I couldn't accelerate due to engine problems, I guess? This car should have not been in service as it wasn't safe for the driver or for the passing traffic. Additionally, Ace charged me $350 on my credit card even though I prepaid for the rental. I never got a receipt for the charge and I'm disputing it with my credit card. Ace office was old and smelly, the employees were smoking cigarettes in the office. Terrible experience for a car rental. I will never use ACE againSilvercar

Please ensure that u add additional time to your booking in the beginning itself. They charged me for 2 whole additional days for returning the car about 3 hours late. Also, the Audi Q3 is not the best option for a long drive. The car hydroplaned massively on wet road conditions in upstate NY. Seat quality and ride quality left a whole lot to be desired. Overall, I’m extremely disappointed. Wouldn’t be recommending.9.2 Excellent
