There was no owners manual in the car, for information on operation of the different modes of four wheel drive. There was not a snow brush or even an ice scraper. We got the four wheel drive vehicle specifically to go to the Mt. Hood/Government Camp area.10.0 Wonderful

I call budget before booking on Kayak for pricing. They 1st told me that they don’t book these kind of vans one way. I told them that I’m seeing it online that they do. They put me on hold and came back with a one day one way price of $380. I told the guy that thru Kayak I can rent it for $69 per day. He told me that “ then I suggest you rent it thru Kayak”. I was very happy with the rental. We reserved a bit late for the August 2017 crush, and this was the only location in the Portland OR area that still had cars. Nonetheless, we had extremely pleasant service and timely pickup. Couldn't have been happier.10.0 Wonderful

I rented during the 2017 eclipse week in Portland when demand for cars was exceptionally high. They put a special representative in the lot to expedite the rental when I came in and they upgraded me at no cost to a Prius. Could not have been better.9.6 Wonderful

My input in the website was for only PDX, when my wife arrived to pick up the vehicle at the PDX Avis counter, they told her that her reservation was at another Avis location away from the airport (not a typical off-site with an airport shuttle). Why did the website not clearly state that this was a different location??? Avis offered a compact car at a rate 50% more than what was reserved for a premium vehicle. I called Avis and they were unwilling to do anything for us. After complaining to a supervisor over the phone, they said they would credit us $20 (the upcharge was around $30). Rodney5.2 Fair

1 - A 12ft truck was reserved & confirmed. But later at the rental counter, it had been rented out already. Only 16ft available. Is someone reimbursing my fuel cost delta? 2 - Confirmed cost $431. Credit Card payment > $530. You think it would show me the tax & extras? Yes in the fine print I later saw a note about taxes, It's is still a cloudy way to do business. another lesson learned!8.8 Very good

I thought that my car was pick up and drop off at the Portland Airport, but it was only drop off. I was very surprised that I had to take a $50.00 cab ride to get my car on the other side of Portland my first morning! Drop off was great, though.Hertz

Well you could I'd been open like stated in the reservation instead I wasted my time and gas to get there then when I call to switch to another location don't charge me 3 times as much and a half hour away from the original place I was told to go.
