Cons: car was dirty, tire was damaged requiring three visits to tire shop and our purchasing a new tire, for which we had not gotten a reimbursement.

Good, Bad and Ugly
Pros: Desk agent at check-in was courteous and remembered me from previous visits. He had a lot of customers and handled them well, but wait time could have been streamlined if the people sitting in the staff room directly behind him had offered to help.
Cons: At return, there was just one man working. I asked for a receipt (as I have to turn in printed receipts for expenses and was hoping to drop in the MAIL before my international flight. He said he couldn't do it and walked off mumbling something. As i was unloading the car (I carry a lot of equipment with me when I travel) he returned, asked for my contract and wrote FULL on it (I had left the gas receipt on the dashboard). I told him the contract had "estimated cost" and was not acceptable to my employer, he instructed me to go to desk to get a printed copy. Keep in mind, I have A LOT of stuff, and I'm scurrying to make a 7:00 AM international flight. I am also the only one in the parking garage besides him at 5:00 AM. He made no offer to help me retrieve a carrier, to call the desk to have the receipt prepared, and was not carrying the typical handheld ticket printer every car rental company uses for return ease. The woman at the desk asked me why I needed a receipt and had an unfriendly disposition about being bothered, as typing the information into the computer there seemed to be a deliberate method of slowly and angrily tapping the keys, then reading the screen with a pinched-up facial expression. She demanded a receipt (despite the gate agent's scribble that the tank was full) and then typed in a whole lot more information. Returning a car has never been so complicated, and as the lasting impression of Dollar, an unfortunate portrayal for the company.

Did not get what we signed up for...
Pros: Easy pick up and return
Cons: We did not get what we paid for. The promotion said we would get a mid to full size car but when we got to the Dollar counter, they would only give us a car that was a size down from the mid. Even though I should her the car that was in the promo add and the ad stated equivalent of or larger than. :-(

Chaotic organization at CMH airport
Pros: The location of the facility is close to the gates, I could walk there. Drop off was much better than pickup.
Cons: According to website, office opens at 5:00am on Sundays, but they(only one cashier)didn't show up until 7:10am. My reservation wasn't until 8:00am(I showed up early), but if one was expecting an early pickup then it would have been horrible. Then there was a backlog until a key to unlock the garage gate could be found. Also, I was initially charged a higher rate than my KAYAK quote. I spoke with a man in front of me who said that this location in particular tends to not respect the reservation price(for me it was about $3 more per day). I showed the cashier my reservation and he kind of brushed it off saying something about airport surcharges and rates, etc. I did have a lower rate than the quote when I returned the car, but I'm not sure if because I returned a few hours early. I'm not sure I would rent from this location again. Finally I really didn't like the driver's seat of the Kia Soul. The headrest pushes too far forward, so I couldn't get my upper back up again the seat. I had to completely remove the head rest to get comfortable. Cleanliness of car was okay, so gunk in drink holder, but other wise not an issue.
