Cons:Poor service. When I received the car the gas gauge was on empty - was told "we didn't have time to fill it up". Shuttle back to airport sat at rental car station for 20 minutes before we left. Strongly recommend against doing business with Easirent!Reviewed Jan 26 2021

Pros:The staff members were incredibly rude. We spent three hours at the location, trying to get a rental car. They insisted that our car rental insurance was not good enough. The facility didn't have cars available when we needed to pick our our vehicles. It was an absolutely terrible experience and I will NEVER use this company again.Reviewed Feb 14 2021

Pros:Returning the car and never having to deal with Easirent was the best part of the experience.Cons:This company would be more appropriately named Bait and Switch. Long wait times at the airport - When we arrived outside to pick up the shuttle, we waited 20+ minutes for the shuttle to arrive. Another couple we spoke to said they had already been waiting 10 minutes. 30 minutes for people to wait for an off-airport shuttle -- unacceptable and a bad start to the experience. Customer Service - When we arrived (after 20-minute wait for the shuttle + 10 minute drive from MCO to the rental building), we waited 20 minutes to be seen by someone as other couples were being taken care of. First, one agent said I'll be right with you when she servicing anyone.... 5 minutes later, the same person is still working away on whatever activity and not helping us. Keep in mind we were traveling with 2 kids under 6 (not easy to keep them entertained and staying patient). Another person was standing there typing away at the computer, and we were the only ones left in the rental building clearly needing a car, they didnt call us over. I just walked over and asked if we could get our rental. Response: "oh yes, didn't realize you needed a car". Seriously? Bait and Switch - When we arrived at 630 pm to the off-airport Easirent office to pick up our 6-day SUV reservation (our reservation was for noon -- I occasionaly reserve early in case we can get on an earlier flight), I was informed our reservation had been canceled. I was told their policy is to cancel if someone is a "no-show" after 2 hours. Given we were in a desperate situation and it being Dec 26 (day after Christmas), car prices were high everywhere. They were able to "conveniently" find us an SUV, which they said was an upgrade to what we had rented (we rented a mid-size SUV and they gave us a Mitsubishi Outlander) for over double our original rental. After our trip, I looked at the multi-page contract and they charged a "REINSTATEMENT FEE" of $400. To say my wife and I were fuming and livid about the situation is an understatement. Lesson learned - when Kayak shows reviews indicating <30% would recommend that business, DONT RENT FROM THEM. We are disputing the upcharge fee with the credit card company right now and hope to get our money back.Reviewed Jan 2 2020

Pros:The best part of my experience was the shuttle driver from the airportCons:Have the gas tank full - it was under half a tank. Tire pressure was low. The wait for service was painfully slow. Not enough room in the waiting area. It was around 10:00 pm. I can’t imagine what it would be like during peak times. Had to have proof of insurance or would be forced to purchase theirs. Never had to to that before. Luckily my husband was at home in California to take a picture of the card and send it to me. I accidentally went through a toll booth (no attendant and no gate). When I got to the next toll attendant, I told her about it and she asked if I was in a rental car. I told her I was and she said not to worry, I’d only have to pay $1.95. When I disclosed this at Easirent, I was told I would have to pay them a $25.00 fine plus the toll. Overall, I would call this a terrible experience and pay the extra $75 to pick up a car at the airport. I would not recommend this business to anyone.Reviewed Feb 2 2020

Pros:There was NOTHING remotely good about this experience, nothing.Cons:This is about to be the “HardestRent” you’ll ever experience. This is how it will go... 1. When you arrive the angry lady will yell at you- be with you in 45-55 mins wait outside!” 2. There is at least 15-20 people waiting same as you. 3. When it is finally your turn angry lady will inform you the price is triple because you need all sorts of insurance your credit card and personal car insurance does not cover. But you can call both during the next hour, comb through the fine print and try prove them wrong... while you and your family sweat in this converted, once condemned 70’s gas station. a) If you decide not to rent from them you’ll need to find your own way back to the airport. b) You’ll be charged the price you agreed to when you clicked on the link to reserve c) You’ve just lost at least 2 hours of your life in this smelly dump and you’ll need to uber back to the airport to start over. You’ll likely agree to double, triple or quadruple the "deal" price the tricked you in here in the first place- just to get out of there- and these scumbags know it. Now you’ll swipe your card and all sorts of charges will appear from them during the next month, charges for details from their fine print you agreed to and you should have known better. Now you do. All the main car rental companies you already know end up being cheaper, the cars will be clean, service will be professional and you won't wait 2 hours to get the keys to a car to drive away.Reviewed Jan 22 2020

Don't do it!Pros:When the price seems too good to be true it is!Cons:We never wound up getting our rental car! On our way to the airport we received a text that said to call the number when we got to airport counter to get the shuttle to the car but we tried calling multiple times to the number that was sent via text as well as calling the number they had listed online with no success of reaching anyone. After many tries and no luck locating their sure we wound up renting from anther company. We had to spend almost double what we were quoted with easirent but atleast we had a car. Don't rent with easirent not worth the headache!!!Reviewed Jul 7 2018

Cons:It is an independent company that operates out of an old gas station. Their operation is not very smooth, but the cars were nice. Mine smells a little like smoke inside, but other than that. It was in good repair and clean. However most people they were on the Shuttle bus with me had issues with different pricing than they were quoted on the internet. I may have been different since I went through kayak... I did not have any issues until I pulled out my Florida license, but that was result and I got the deal That I purchased through kayak. The shuttle from the airport and checking out took forever though. Once we got to easirent, it took about 45 minutes to get the car and there were only three other people there in front of me. They had two agents working, and three others shuffling cars and preparing things. The two agents were constantly either on the phone or on the computer and engaging with the customers, It just took so long for some reason. Probably because of the different prices. They wanted to charge versus what customers were quoted. Also a tip for this place or any other, don't get the insurance. They offer online. It's a third party vendor and you are still responsible for the vehicle until the third party vendor pays. Their daily insurance rates were average. If they speed up their customer service, and you rent through kayak, I would rate this as good or excellent based on the price of the cars.Reviewed Feb 4 2020

Pros:Good morning, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with this rental. Please understand that rates are extremely high this week and what should likely be a $200 rental is $760. I can start with the small things. The car was filthy, covered in bugs and had an oil print on the passenger side door. No one bothered to wash it or even vacuum the leaves from inside it. The car has Sunpass charges, that you didn’t bother to clear before renting it to another user. The agent told me I would have to pay them, but this is untrue. You can decline to pay for someone else’s charges and pay your rental only. The tank was NOT half full and the driver side rear tire’s pressure is low. Again, no one inspected this car on its last return. I had to pay an extra $100 because the agent would not rent to me with my insurance. I am covered by GEICO, and while I am not the primary driver I do have coverage. He did not point to me where being the primary driver is the rule. You would not give a married couple who share a policy this nonsense reasoning. What was already a costly rental became even more costly for no reason other than I was out of options and your agent knew it. Very dishonest and disingenuous. Overall, very dissatisfied with this rental.Reviewed Mar 28 2021
