    Never Again
Pros: The final attendant that drove us to the terminal.
Cons: The representative at the desk was unclear with the information about insurance and tolls. The car was okay but should have been cleaner. But the real issue was when we called to tell them that the warning light for an oil leak had come on and they were not at all helpful. We were told that it probably just was getting near time to service the car not to worry about it. We explained that the car's information book indicates that the car should not be driven when that light comes on. They told us to drive the car to a Valvoline dealer and have them look at it, put oil in it, whatever. So, the next morning, we did just that which resulted in the car being towed as the oil had leaked out to a dangerously low level and Valvoline didn't even have the correct oil for the car. The net result was a lot of frustration, aggravation and our family losing a day of vacation to Thrifty's poor vehicle maintenance and customer service. They did finally give us a different car but then instructed us to return it to the wrong terminal upon departure -- the only saving grace was that the attendant was kind enough to drive us to the correct terminal. We will NEVER use Thrifty again!

    Pros: Nothing
Cons: They scam you into buying stuff you don't need by telling bad info. There customer service people that are in India don't care about nothing except taking your money. Just read the fine print very carefully.

Pros: You selected which car you wanted to rent, based on the category (full sized, SUV, compact, etc). You walk out to the parking garage and all of the cars are running, doors are open, trunk is open. Of course they don't tell you that though, so we walked around the garage quite a while with our luggage looking for an attendant to ask what the procedure was.
Cons: BEWARE ! They used scare tactics to make me to purchase their toll coverage because I didn't "bring my own transponder"! I am on vacation, who packs their transponder?! She told me that if I didn't buy their toll service, I would be billed a fee of $25.00 EACH toll because they don't accept cash at the tolls. This was a complete lie, each toll we drove by was about $1.00 and you could pay cash (or if they billed you the toll doubled to $2.00 not $25.00)! So instead of paying less than $10.00 total for tolls the entire week in cash, I was charged $10.49 PER DAY for their transponder because they lied to me and said I had to buy their toll service or I would be billed these service fees from the toll company. But their transponder was a sticker on the windshield, even if I had my own transponder they could not turn theirs off. I feel so ripped off. I should have lied and said I had my transponder, they would not have known or matched up their toll bill (which is probably a flat rate). So when you rent a car in Florida, clarify if the tolls are included with that rate. I know last time I rented a car in Florida (3 years ago) they were, they just figured out a new way to scam their customers. We selected a car with a sunroof, but when we got in it was full of trash (cookie wrappers, soda cans), they didn't even apologize or car (they barely spoke Engish).

    Never felt so unsafe
Cons: Most unsafe vehicle I have ever rented! I thought the wheels may fall off if I went over 65. Dirty & beat up car! It was inexpensive so you truly get what you pay for!
