The first class cabin crew on our side of the plane was inattentive, though it appeared on the other half of the plane the crew was very attentive. This is one of the poorer first class seats in the industry. The "lie flat" seat is just that, a lie. It is pitched at an angle, though not as steep as some. Foot cubby is narrow and constrictive, bordering on claustrophobic."

Then once everyone was seated, the attendant wheeled them by and passengers had to call out when they saw their bag go by so that they could be issued the corresponding luggage claim ticket. The seat width and pitch was sad compared to 'low cost' airlines like JetBlue."

The attendants gave us little information on flight alternatives and when the flight was finally allowed to board again, they did not announce it and so had I not been waiting close by, I would have missed my flight. It was extremely disappointing but not shocking with all the scandals that have occurred this year with American Airlines. I do not recommend flying with them."

American Airlines is endangering the lives of passengers. And the cramped conditions are contributing to the hostile actions of some passengers. What does it take to do what is right?"

Thanks for the SERVICE (i dont flight with you no more, even though cheap flights, but cheap things are expensive)"

Cons: "The AA employee at the counter in Batoj Rouge informed me that I would miss my connection at Charlotte Airport due to a delayed in the incoming flight. Hebgave me the option to flight the next day or flight the same day, and after a 2 hour delay flight to Charlotte where I would be provided a hotel room and a meal for the night. I asked several times if that information was confirmed and he repeatedly said yes. At my arrival at Charlotte Airport (near midnight) every AA employee said that they did NOT have any more hotels. It was obvious that everything was a staged lie since over 100 people had to spend the night in one of the the terminals where we were provided a pillow and a blanket. I am terribly disappointed for the lack of transparency in AA. I was told my some friends that they also have had experiences like that at the same Charlotte Airport. You have damage once again your reputation and from no own in will expect THE WORST from AA."

Cons: "Checking in and luggage drop off was chaos. One useless staff person failed to tell people where to line up to drop bags off until the end. She just stood there and if you asked a question she gave you the wrong answer. In Newerk we had to wait 2 hours for our bags. The man st the AC office had no idea why the bags were not coming and could not get someone to tell him and emotionally dithered and then fell apart. I will avoid travelling on AC again if I can. Worst flight ever. They did not have enough food on board either. At least the pilots were competent."

The entertainment system never got reset properly and did not function for the rest of the 4+ hour flight."

The staff at the airport gate wasn't helpful at all, they offer no emotional support but asked us to "make a complaint in baggage reclaim". There, the staff was a little more helpful and gave us a new stroller (very small, not close to ours, but we used it anyway). I had to call many times until I reach a spanish speaker that showed concern for our problem and finally found our stroller and sent it to our hotel."

Mostly it was also crazy to see the situations of other passengers with that airline. The staff were nice, but I wouldn't even feel safe flying with spirit again, much less like I'd be well served."

Cuando llegué al aeropuerto de Miami noté que habían roto una rueda de mi maleta y se lo dije a una empleada de Spirit Arilines que no sabía que hacer así que recurrió a otra y lo que me dijeron fue que eso no era problema de ellas porque probablemente había sucedido en Costa Rica y luego se fueron. Ahora mismo estaba tratando de hacer el Check In para mi vuelo de regreso y nunca había sido tan complicado hacer un Check In, ni siquiera entiendo porque no puedo hacerlo. Entro a la pagina de preguntas y soporte al cliente de Spirit Airlines y para responder a la pregunta de COMO hacerlo, lo único que saben decir son los beneficios que tiene, beneficios a los cuales me ENCANTARÍA tener si tan solo en su pagina dijeran COMO se hace. He pagado casi $100 en equipaje solo porque nunca nadie me dijo que si lo pagaba como un mes antes iba a salir más barato, que por cierto su pagina de internet es de lo PEOR que he visto, porque después de pagar mi maleta para ir de regreso, ni siquiera me decía si se había cargado bien a mi tarjeta o me daban una factura, simplemente volví al sitio para administrar mi viaje y ahora solo estoy rezando para que cuando llegue al aeropuerto en serio el pago se haya realizado correctamente. Cons: "Our flight was delayed multiple times, without any time info. Only "delayed" but never were we informed for how long. Our gate was moved in the same manner. Once onboard and seated, we all waited with our seatbelts fastened for over forty minutes before the pilot spoke to us and announced that there was a line for the runway and we were waiting our turn. Spirit had rude flight attendants who searched through our bags to make sure we had no water bottles or drinks purchased after the security checkpoint - a shameless extortion effort to secure out purchase of insult priced in flight drinks. The flight attendants insisted that nobody wait for the restroom in flight anywhere near where they were sitting and promptly removed any waiting customers to the aisle. We had a baby on the flight with us and were forced to purchase the incredibly expensive water onboard for the baby, as he had been battling with staying hydrated throughout the vacation. With at least an hour left on the flight, while most everyone on board - (including the baby) had fallen asleep, they woke everyone on the flight through speakers that were about six times too loud and shocking to pass out immigration forms. The only reason I could think of to wake so may visibly sleeping customers with more than an hour left on the flight to fill out the forms is to simply get the task out of the way for the extremely unfriendly and rude attendants. I have never flown on any airline that will search your bags for drinks or treat customers with such blatant disrespect as I have seen during this flight. I have certainly never had an experience this terrible and I will never be purchasing another ticket from Spirit airlines again."

Cons: "The plane broke will being pushed from the gate. We sat on tarmac for nearly an hour while we were assured that there was nothing wrong with out plane, but rather the towbar on the ground equipment. Then we were deplaned, and told we would be reboarded very shortly , that became just over two hours. At that time they told us the flight was cancelled, telling us to go out through security and back to the ticketing counter to receive further instructions. After waiting nearly another half hour for someone to show at the service counter, they then told us to go curbside and board the shuttle buses that would be taking us to our hotel accommodations for the evening. No further flight information was given, we were told that the hotel would inform us of any further information. At the hotel we were given dinner coupons that were not honored at either one of the two food establishments that they were intended for. We were told to be in the lobby at 1am to get a shuttle back to the airport. I awoke at midnight and went to check on the status to find that the buses back had been pushed til 8a. No one had informed us of this. After arriving at the airport at 830a, no one was at the ticket counter, and no one was able to check in until 11. Before 11 I went to my email and checked in online, as had been requested by Spirit in the email. At 130p we were told by the counter attendant that they did not honor online check-in, and that our seats had been given away. At this point I asked to speak with the manager, and was directed to an upstairs office. No one there knew where he was, after they attempted to tell us he was at the ticket counter. The ladie in the office was extremely rude and making comments under her breath about us to the gentleman that eventually helpded us, by explaining be was unable to do anything with his computers, and sent us back downstairs. Oddly enough the managers supposed name was the same as the first name of the airport. Downstairs we were eventually given tickets, which were identical to the tickets and seats I had confirmed online hours before. We were allowed through security and our replacement plane finally landed at 430, and we departed at 545p, twenty-eight hours and fifteen minutes after our original departure time. Noone on staff ever acknowledged or accepted responsibility for the situation, nor was there ever an apology offered. No one on staff gave any pertinent information, nor did they seem to take the situation seriously. They were extremely understaffed, with us only seeing four staff members including the ones in the management office. This is by far the worst flying experience I have ever had, and will never personally use, or recommend for anyone else to use, this airline again."
