Lazy people working here.
Pros: Drop-off lady....had to blow my horn to get her off her rear from playing on here phone to check me in. Promise to email me my bill immediately because she didn't want to print it out and never sent it.

Made up for my long wait
Pros: Was upgraded to a brand new mini SUV due to my having to wait, which was appreciated.
Cons: The 1 hour wait for my reserved rental car was the one crimp in an otherwise stress free post-Christmas travel day.

Very Poor Service
Pros: They didn't charge me to cancel their garbage service. There's a win.
Cons: Despite what is advertised online, Advantage only allows an average of 150 miles/day if renting locally--beyond that, $0.55/mile. At this rate, a trip from Charlotte, NC to Chicago, IL and back will cost you about $250 more than advertised. This is the only company I know that does this. Very slow service at the CLT location. Had to wait over 20 minutes to find out they were about to try and screw me over. Asked for a lot of insurance information for coverage. Of course, I didn't have any of that on me since I was dropped off to pick up the rental. When I asked about other coverage options, I wasn't provided any other than to call my insurance provider's customer service. Out of frustration, I walked the extra 20 feet to a competitor with no reservation a few days before Christmas and got a car with coverage and unlimited miles all within 10 minutes. And for only about $100 more than Advantage would have charged me for the reservation I made 6 weeks in advance. I would recommend any other option over Advantage.

despite my reservation at 11pm, there was not pers
Cons: my flight got delayed and I landed closer to 1am. thus i never received my rental car and had to have someone come pick me up at 3am.

Cons: Air con/heater not working. Windscreen filthy inside. Rumble from the rear - wheel bearing, differential or tires? Key holder broken. Windscreen wipers long overdue for replacement - hardly usable.

Cons: Their system was down when I picked up the car. The next day someone called and asked if I still had the car. On top of that I had to spend $3 figuring out which tire was giving me the low air warning. When I returned the car 4 days later they had already charged my credit card a $100 a day for a car that I was quoted at $32. Luckily I had plenty of time before my flight since it took me an hour to work with manager to get this fixed over the phone. I would not use them again.

You get what you pay for
Pros: The customer service from the two ladies downstairs where we picked up the car. We had to change cars after all the paperwork and they were so pleasant and helpful and contacted who they needed to to make the chamges to the contract, and did not make us feel like we were inconveniencing them. The second car appeared cleaner, although smelled awful (ac vents?)
Cons: I had a prepaid reservation for a Kia Sorento or equivalent, but the agent at the counter decided to change it to an economy car and didn't tell us until the end of the paperwork. We accepted, not wanting to spend more time, but that car was absolutely disgusting. Oily/greasy smears on the insides of the front windows, various sizes and colors of many stains all over every seat and some on the ceiling. When I told the gal at the pick up window that that was unacceptable and asked for the Sorento equivalent, she fixed it with no issue.

DONT USE ADVANTAGE
Pros: They gave me the car I wanted...
Cons: ...But they also tricked me into paying an extra $30 for insurance I didn't need. That ended up doubling the cost of my rental. Be warned, their prices are misleading! Also the car itself was dented, and had stains in the back seat. The people working at the airport couldn't care less about service and barely made eye contact with me as they threw the keys and paperwork through the opening in kiosk their window.

We had a 10 pm pick-up, they close at 10!
Cons: We never got a car! Why allow a 10 pm pick-up when that's when they close??

Pros: The car was new and a good drive. The price was very reasonable. Customer service was absolutely phenomenal.
Cons: Car had trash from previous user inside and smelled like a wet dog when I first got into it. I have had other issues with cleanliness with Advantage.

Pros: Car was very nice. Pickup went well.
Cons: No one was there at drop off. They said they would be there at 5:30am on saturday . Several other folks were there to drop off or pick up a car. They were all told the same. No envelopes at the key drop. WE finally all drooped our keys in at once. If you say you will be there, be there.

Cons: Advantage told me- I see you have a reservation but we don't have any cars left. I understand if you want to go somewhere else to rent a car. 5 people behind me in line got cars because they we're walking in and paying double the amount I would have paid. This is poor customer service.

Rented a convertible but received an suv, not what
Pros: The people were polite and friendly
Cons: Left hertz who I have been with for 10+ yrs for this rental and when I arrived, there were no convertibles, the counter person said they already rents them out, but I could rent an suv. For grins I stopped by hertz counter and asked if they had convertibles, since I was a gold member they would have made sure I had one. Next time I may be more hesitant to leave the companies I am loyal to.

Lousy customer support
Pros: The gas mileage and cleanliness of the car were acceptable.
Cons: I rented a GPS and it DID NOT work. It told me I had arrived at my destination in the middle of the freeway. When I called to report the problem no one called me back. I told the woman who inspected my car about the problem, she dismissed my concerns. I ended up being charged the full amount for a product I was never able to use. I will NEVER rent from this company again!

Pros: I liked the convenience of where the rental desk was in comparison to the baggage claim. The car was nice enough. Staff was pretty much friendly.
Cons: I felt as though there were many hidden fees. I didn't like they way the guy that checked me in tried to up sale me on everything. Going to the car was confusing. And the exit of the building was unclear. I am use to an employee walking around the car with me and not just giving me a paper to fill out by myself. The car had several scratches and scrapes on it. And there was no one there when I dropped the car off. I think if you have drop offs scheduled, you should schedule employees to work.

Pros: Staff was friendly and rates were good; however, the lines were very, very long picking up the car and as well as returning the car. Once again they had the Rental Counter closed in the Termnal so people had to go to the car pick-up/return area to rent the cars and return the cars. People had been waiting over 45 minutes to check out a car and people returning cars were also having to wait in the same line. I finally had to leave without a printed receipt. The excessive wait times is not a good situation when trying to catch a flight.

Pros: THE RENTAL WAS GREAT!! MY FLIGHT GOT ALL MESSED UP AND I ENDED UP HAVING TO PICK UP @ ONE AIRPORT THEN DROP OFF @ ANOTHER. EVERY OTHER RENTAL COMPANY WAS TRYING TO CHARGE ME ALMOST 3X THE ORIGINAL AMOUNT I PAID SINCE THEY CONSIDERED IT NOW A 'ONE WAY' RENTAL. ADVANTAGE HAD THE FEE AS WELL BUT IT WAS MUCH LESS AND THEY WERE NICE ABOUT THE SITUATION!! THE AGENT GAVE US A GREAT CAR THAT WAS AMPLE SPACE FOR 3 ADULTS TRAVELING WITH 2 BAGS EACH. VERY FRIENDLY AND TALKATIVE STAFF. I WILL BE RENTING FROM ADVANTAGE AGAIN, NO DOUBT!

Pros: They took my money quickly.
Cons: I arrived 30 minutes early my car wasn't ready but not to worry an upgraded car was, for a fee, of course. I didn't realize this 30 minutes for a fee would reset my return time. So when I brought the car back 24 hrs and 15 minutes later I was charged for 2 days. No mention of it from the attendant on checkout, just an email saying the total was more than twice what I'd originally agreed on.

Great customer service, but car was dirty
Pros: The customer service was great. Very friendly & helpful. Inside of the car was clean & comfy.
Cons: The appeared that it went through a car wash, but there were black marks & dirt still on the car.

Cons: I went to the counter to get my car and was told that "Cars are coming back a little slower than we expected so it will be about 45 minutes. You're third in line." I went back 45 minutes later to find out I was still third in line so I cancelled the car and used Uber instead. Overall that ended up saving me about $50 even after giving the Uber driver a generous tip.

An easy, cheap deal
Pros: The car was great! The price was reasonable. I liked that you could pre-pay for gas so that there was no hassle when dropping off the car.
Cons: By adding a driver my rental fee almost doubled. And of course, it turned out only one of us drove...oh well.

Cons: My email was not working and I was not able to pull it up. Advantage could not find our confirmation and we ended up having to book with another company on the spot because Advantage did not have any cars on sight. Horrible!

Pros: Staff check in and out.. Friendly
Cons: The car was filthy.. Stains on seats, not vacuumed, windows dirty, smell and had strange noise; if it was cause I was so pressed for time .. Wouldn't have taken car.!

Customer Service Stinks
Cons: Did not have car for us when we arrived at reservation time. Had to wait an hour or take a SUV. Miami reps are the rudest in the business.

Cons: I reserved an Intermediate after I reviewed the car types available for that category. But upon arrival was offered only a Prius, which I didn't want. So I was forced to upgrade the the next category, where many car types were available but for an additional cost. Sounds like the old "bait and switch"!

Pros: Car was very comfortable and clean, ran great.
Cons: I reserved a full size sedan about 2 months ahead of time. They confirmed my reservation a few days before my arrival. When I got there, though, they did not have ONE SINGLE sedan...not even an economy car. That's not ok. The minivan was huge, and a gas guzzler, and the person at the counter didn't even realize/acknowledge that this was an inconvenience for me, and didn't offer to discount me on the gas. That was not fair, and was not good business.

Pros: Easy pickup and dropoff Car was note base model (was also upgraded)
Cons: The car was a gallon or two from a full tank. Not a huge deal when gas was $1.60 but still. Wipers and windshield were terrible in the rain.

Not worth the $$$
Pros: The best part of the rental? Dropping it off. At least the clerk who checked the rental back in was kind and pleasant. Shes the ONLY one! WAS NOT WORTH THE MONEY
Cons: harsh, abrasive front counter girl who obviously didnt think customer service was of value 2. Being TOLD i had to wait 45 min without any 'oh Im sorry' or I apologize for the wait or any explanation why. I finally inquired, it was because they supposedly didnt have any cars available yet. How do you overbook your rental cars like that??? 3. The ad said "Jeep cherokee or similar " but they DO NOT have any Jeep cherokees so isnt that false advertising? 4) VERY rude women who hand out the keys to a dirty, cigarette stained vehicle. There was another Santa Fe available it was clean had been washed and was not all stained or burned on the inside. I asked if I could have that one instead because I was the only one who had been around waiting for 45 minutes for a vehicle. She slammed the keys down on the counter said take it or leave it . This was So rude in fact I stooped to their level and called one what she was a rude biotch! 5) no washer fluid, light on saying needs service I guess theirs a reason why Id never heard of this company before and I will NEVER EVER EVER use them again!!

Car was not ready
Cons: They don't have any cars available and wasn't sure when they would them. Tried to upgrade me to a minivan for $130 more. Which should have been complimentary since they didn't have cars. Was not pleased at all. Price would have been great if the car was there v

There needs to be a class action lawsuit and inves
Cons: Since I got the rental to drive last minute to see my mom who was just diagnosed with cancer, I didn't take the time to read all of the consumer reports reviews on Advantage. Not only was the pickup process terrible, they over charged me by $200 on my rental when I got by bill. After calling and emailing Advantage repeatedly, they still haven't responded about this. I checked consumer reports and the experience just like many others. Kayak should shoulder some responsibility for having a partnership with such a low life company. If I don't receive retribution for the overcharge I will take legal action on both Kayak and Advantage even if it costs 50 times the overcharge amount. No one should go through what I have.

Worst Experience Renting a Car
Cons: They did not have the car we reserved. We rented a SUV, they substituted a Kia, but refused to discount the price for the lesser vehicle. Will never rent from them again. We had 5 passengers, 2 of them had to take Uber because they could not fit in the car.

Cons: No car available when we arrived. Other companies lacked vehicles too. Did not get class of car we reserved weeks prior. They seemed not to care. Car had not been cleaned, as evidenced by our finding $26,in the glove box!

No cars available despite reservation
Cons: Advantage had no cars despite a reservation made a month in advance. I had to use a competitor at a rate that was 5x my quoted rate.
