They did not allow me to take the rental after paying for it and signing the paperwork. They left me hanging after my flight was canceled at 11pm and asked me to go around asking if a rental car is available at other rental car companies. I will never go to Budget again.Reviewed May 2 2026

They didn’t have a car ready for me. I waited over an hour, I had to ask an employee to have mercy of me and ask another company if they could lend them a vehicle. I rented a mini van because I had 3 car seats and 3 kids so I needed a bigger vehicle. I find it extremely upsetting that they made us wait that long to get a car we were confirmed for in advanced. There were about 25 people waiting for customers to return vehicles so we could grab them. It’s extremely disappointing and stressful when traveling. Also the budget employees were extremely slow, spending over 15 minutes with each person so someone from Avis pulled me to take care of my reservation and it took her 1 minute to do it. Also, why would you guys offer insurance, I booked it and then at the counter the employee says “that’s a third party you won’t have coverage” so why was that offered to begin with?Reviewed Feb 22 2026

We noticed the car shaking badly when we would brake on the highway. We then noticed the key chain had stickers saying there was a tire leak. When we checked the tire pressure, the right side was underinflated and the left really overinflated. We got them all to 35 psi, but the car still shook when braking. The car was pretty dirty so we had to run it through a car wash. The USBs did not work so we had to handwrite directions when our phones died.
